Demon Emperor Prodigy System

Lucifer was confused about who this stranger was and what was this space he found himself in.

"There are so many questions running through my mind right now. What the hell do I do?"

Beelzebub interposed, "You must be quite confused with the current predicament you found yourself in, child."

"Let me explain to ease your mind. You are currently speaking to a version of me as you have been bestowed with my unique ability, 'predator.' I was the first and last Immortal Demon in existence. My being came into existence as an experiment related to DNA splicing, which resulted in me being granted immortality and being granted powers of other races."

"Many, many centuries ago, the demon race was close to extinction and pushed into a corner with no other ideas. The remnants of the race decided to begin experimenting on their own people to create an individual strong enough to oppose the forces of the other kingdoms."

"One day, a miracle happened somehow they managed to create the being perfect for the purposes of preventing the extinction of the race."

"That being was me, and as Demon history dictates after I came into power, the demon race finally experienced peace and recovered from the brink of extinction."

"After centuries of ruling over the demon race preventing anything other than a few minor altercations from occurring. I finally felt that there was nothing left for me to do, so I decided to seal my knowledge, abilities and skills within a book for someone worthy to appear when and if the Demon Race was ever to find itself in parrel."

"Something went wrong while the sealing process was being conducted, and as a result, my soul was split into eight parts. That includes my abilities, knowledge and information. Luckily it seems you came across the first tome."

"For you to appear before means the demon race once again must have found itself as a victim of the greed and weakness of mortals."

"What surprised me is that from what I can tell is you have access to my ability, but it no longer is a unique ability but rather a regular one meaning something must have changed."

"Within this space, I have absolute control, so you can't hide much from me. Although there seems to be quite a lot of information that I can not access because of another being, it is not the information I need but makes me more cautious."

"Are there any questions you have? We have time. A lot of time actually as a day, here is only a second in the real world.

"I have given you a choice to ask questions before I disclose to you information that you must know."

Lucifer was shocked this was an unexpected development and did not even know what to say at first. Although with his years of experience, he managed to compose himself and enquired, "What happens after I gather all eight tomes which are all parts of your soul?"

Beelzebub responded, "Good question, you will by the end have partial access to the power and abilities I once held. You will also have access to the knowledge of the past."

"Oh, I see you are a hopeful one. In theory, yes, but I would say that in practice, I believe it will prove quite difficult for you and most likely would become an unreachable goal."

"I see. Are you able to disclose any information about the other abilities or their location?"

"That is out of my control. I am but one piece of the soul that has been enclosed within this tome. It has been most likely around 200 years since I decided to seal myself away from what I can tell. I do not even know if the other parts of my soul have not already been accessed. I only know that they are still in existence."

"The book initially was supposed only to be accessible to a descendant of mine worthy of inheriting my power, but a lot of time passed, and since the sealing failed to work correctly, I can not be sure of anything else."

Lucifer had to think about everything he had just heard. It was a lot of information to process.

"This is all a lot more than I have ever expected when leaving my room to attend the library this morning, and maybe the system did not award me the power as randomly as it made me think it did."

"Could you please disclose the information I must know? Having the information could provide some more context that would help me understand the situation as right now, I am still slightly confused and do not know the lore of the demon kingdom."

Beelzebub took a deep breath in and began.
