"Before I went to sleep, I tested up my knew clairvoyance ability and used the Inspect skill, which proved highly useful. As it turns out, the skill allows me to inspect items around me, and I can see information, names and stats of the items in my possession. After testing it on items not owned by me, like decorative armour in the castle's halls, I can only see the name of the item or a name and a description depending on what I inspect that is not mine."

"The name has a corresponding colour based on its rarity as described to me by the system matching the highest tier of the beast crystal used in its creation".

"I have also done so in the dark and discovered that other than the inspection skill, clairvoyance also granted a skill called perfect vision. It seems to improve my vision in the darkness and slightly improve the sharpness of my vision. It appears that this skill will improve as the tier of my mana centres increase more, and I can use higher tiers of the skill."

"Using the inspect skill, I investigated my weapons, and the skill seems pretty interesting. I can tell the tier of the equipment, the boost it provides stat-wise, and if the equipment has a hidden skill that works like an ability with a cooldown timer. Some equipment hidden ability can be used with conditions placed upon it related to a cool down, meeting a specific condition etc."

"The skill seems quite helpful and like a nice addition to my arsenal. After asking the system about the ability, it also turns out clairvoyance is a famous ability for appraising high-end weapons and equipment among all the different kingdoms."

"Other than clairvoyance, I unlocked the glass and predator abilities, but no skills are currently available, so I will most likely have to conduct research in the royal library as systems knowledge tends to be more focused on the facts of the world, its infrastructure and common knowledge."

As he clenched his fist, Lucifer felt hope.

"With the system and my current advantages given to me by destiny, I can get strong and fix everything wrong with this reality. I can achieve what I failed before."

"I can live a life of war if it means no one else has to suffer in the future".

"I need to get ready for today and plan what my next move is."

"Simple training, even though useful, is not enough for me to improve quickly enough."

"The strength increase from increasing my stats is not anything to rave about. I think the best thing I can do is try to complete the quests given to me by the system and focus on cultivating to use higher-end abilities."

"I will get ready and begin by going to the library and researching the two new abilities the system had granted me."

Soon after, Lucifer could be observed leaving his room and making his way to the royal library.

"I guess it is time for me to look for any information I can find on my new abilities."

As time went by, he went through the library searching for anything, and he was pretty quickly able to find the glass ability and clairvoyance related books. Still, the issue was finding a predator ability related book. After 2 hours of painstaking searching, even with his heightened perception and high comprehension, he found it".

"Finally, he shouted", quite annoyed with how difficult it was to find.

As he opened the book, he received a message from the system "Would you like to learn the contents of the book "Detailed History Of The Predator Ability [Guide and The Introduction to the use of the ability]."

"YES" or "NO"

He did not even need to think about it. To him, this was a stepping stone to his goal, and by now, he felt he could trust the system.

He pressed "Yes" on the holographic screen.

In an instant, everything around him disappeared, and he found himself in a pit of endless darkness.

"What the hell is going on," he thought, quite startled.

Then a calm voice said "Hello", and an older gentleman appeared in front of him; he looked no older than 26 but carried the aura of someone who lived for centuries. His long black hair went over his back past his shoulders close to reaching his wait. His clothing looked close to the victorian era but with a slight gothic touch. His face seemed pale compared to Demons, who looked tanned, and some branches even looked similar to dark elves.

Lucifer knew one thing, "This person, he is dangerous".

"You might be slightly confused at the moment, young man; my name is Beelzebub, the immortal Demon Monarch."
