Chapter 150 - Towards The Guild House

*Ding*

[One of the executives of Nightglow Guild sends an invitation to you to join the guild. Do you agree?]

[Yes/No]

Seeing an expectant look from Sampson, Troy felt he was facing a little kid, not a higher-up of a big guild. It made Troy want to laugh. But he couldn't. As he could feel the sincerity in Sampson's words.

Actually, it's not a hard choice for him. As he had determined to join a powerful guild once he restarted his character. And for some reason, he had a gut feeling that Sampson's guild would be a warm and strong 'home' for him. With a town elder as the guild master, he was sure no one would bully him in the future, as long as he became part of the guild.

Troy then nodded. He said, "Okay."

He then chose 'yes' to the system inquiry.

[Congratulations, you have become a member of Nightglow Guild]

"Welcome to the guild, pal! I knew from the start you will not refuse," Sampson said excitedly.

"Yes, welcome, Troy. We will work together in the future," a human NPC also said excitedly. Then all of the NPCs also welcomed him.

It surprised Troy. As they didn't talk too much along the way, he didn't expect they would show such excitement after knowing he agreed to join the guild.

"Remember, Troy. This guild is not only owned by us, guardians. Many townsmen also joined it as personnel. So, treat them as your brothers from now on. As they will also treat you as brothers," Sampson said seriously.

The NPCs nodded after hearing it.

Troy was taken off guard. As he always thought that the NPCs were just data. Seeing the seriousness of Sampson when he said that, it surprised him. But, he couldn't understand the reason behind Sampson's statement.

However, he chose to nod. Although he didn't understand, he didn't see he would lose anything by doing so.

As he had become a member of this guild, he wanted to contribute directly to it. He didn't want to be nobody in the guild. So, he must state his capabilities from the start. So, the executives of the guild knew where to put him.

As he was also not an insignificant person. In fact, he knew his value well. First, he had a C rarity production job that was definitely pretty rare. And second, he was an expert when trading in the auction house.

So he decided to say it now. As he didn't know when he could get an opportunity to speak about it later.

"Actually Sampson. As I have become a member of this guild. I want to be honest with you. As I don't know when I can have an opportunity to tell you about it," Troy said.

It made Sampson and the NPCs seem to be puzzled. But they didn't say anything.

Troy then told his past experience when he was in the previous settlement. Troy felt relief to see that they seemed to listen to his story seriously.

"Then they got me. With a massive profit in front of me, I couldn't help but agree to the business contract. I mean, who wouldn't, right? And he had done so perfectly to draw me to the trap," Troy sighed.

"So, what happened next?" The goblin then asked.

"After the man left, I got attacked from behind. As I had closed the shop, I didn't suspect anyone would be inside the shop. So, I was killed and lost the twelve million dirac check," Troy said. He then told them how could escape the debt trap with the help of the police. And after that, he came to this town.

"What I want to say is, I am good at auction stuff. So, if any of you want to buy anything cheaper, let me know. I will give you some advice," Troy said.

"Okay, I get it. I will tell my brother if the guild needs your help. But, I think you should take a rest for today. As it is a big day for the town, everyone is partying in the plaza or in our restaurant.

Toya, you can take a rest and take Troy to the guild house and then go to the plaza.

So, see you tomorrow," Sampson said.

He and the others then went to the top of the town hall. Leaving Troy with a curious goblin to guide him around the town.

Toya, the goblin whose job was a thief, took him around the human block. But before that, they had to pass a kilometer of plantations. There were many kinds of saplings that were planted. He knew that from the shape and color of their leaves and trunks.

Troy could see many kinds of young trees were planted there. He then asked Toya why there were plantations inside of the town wall.

The goblin explained that those areas were prepared if the number of the townsmen increased tremendously in the future. As it was such a waste to let them empty for the time being, the elders decided to make them fruit plantations.

Troy nodded. He thought the idea indicated that the elders of the town were thoughtful and capable. With such able decision-makers, it was no surprise the town looked so developed.

They then passed the human block. It looked vacant. Troy only saw some people doing some activities in the block. Most of them were town guards who were patrolling along the street.

According to Toya, most of the townsmen were in the plaza at the moment. They would be there until dinner to celebrate the activation of the city core.

Various delicious food would be available and music would be played by bards.

The goblin asked Troy to walk faster so they could arrive earlier at the guild house. Troy could only follow him. Even if his legs were definitely longer than the goblin's, he felt that he was almost left behind by the short guy.

Then they arrived in front of a three-story building. It was between a five-story restaurant and a two-story store with the same name, that was 'Nightglow'. They were the Nightglow Store, Nightglow Guild, and Nightglow Restaurant.
