The same chocolate brown eyes were looking at me intently while holding me in his embrace by circling his arms around my waist. There are only two inches of gap between us that I can feel his breath on my lips. I was unable to grasp anything that is around us because I was so melted by his touch and the look he was giving me that I found myself lost in the depth those brown pools and wanted to forever be there like that.

Slowly he inched forward to close the gap between our lips looking at me with the same intense and lingering gaze while I stopped my breathing in anticipation to feel those soft lips on me again after a long time. I never stopped thinking about the kiss we shared in the pub and the way his lips perfectly moulded against mine. I can still feel the sensation of his soft touch on mine which makes me get goosebumps on my skin even till now.

When there was only a gap of half an inch between us, I heard the loud sounds of something to which I turned my head to look at the source but found nothing since its all black. Scared, I looked back to see him, only to find it empty and again the same sound was resonating around me to which I shut my eyes tightly and covered my ears with my hands and got up.

When the sound has dozed off I slowly opened my eyes to see that I was on my bed. Confused I looked here and there to confirm and soon realized that it was just a dream and the sound of it was my blasting alarm on my mobile.

I released a breath and kept my hand on my heart to control my heartbeat. It's again the same dream.

What the hell is happening with me? Why I always dream the same scene as if I am anticipating for that?

That's because you are. Stated my brain.

No. I don't. Absolutely not. I reverted fiercely.

Suit yourself. Shrugged my brain again.

Why you? God Dammit. Why Abhilash Why? What have I done to you that you always disturb me in my dreams with those attracting brown eyes? What is there in those brown eyes that are pulling me like a magnet to you.

Urghhhh…. I pulled my hair in frustration.

Why the hell you have to be so attractive and tempting that it's becoming a very big task for me to restrain myself from you. Please don't come any closer to me and treat me like you care for me. I am afraid that I won't be able to contain myself if you treat me like that. It's becoming so hard for me to control my attraction towards you.

I know that I am attracted to you like a moth to a flame. But what I don't know is it physically or mentally. And I am scared to find out the answer to this question.

And I blame all of this on yesterday's event.

After the dinner with my emotional drama, Aunty and Dev went to clean everything while Abhilash took the leave from the both of them considering it a day. While he was leaving I have accompanied him till the door with both of us walking silently while I was limping slightly. When we reached the door he pulled me towards him in one swift motion by keeping his right hand around my waist and his left hand on my cheek.

My heartbeat started beating so loud due to the sudden closeness between us that I am sure he too can listen to it very clearly. I placed both of my palms on his chest to create some distance between us and looked at him upwards only to be captured by his lingering gaze of those orbs.

"I don't know what happened to your mother Athira, but I know that she is not with you now. And I am sorry that was not there with you at that time. I regret it a lot for that but there is nothing I can do to change the time. If I can change the time then I wish that I could have been with you when you needed me the most." he said looking deep into my eyes with such sincerity that my heart melted for him "But I promise that from now on I will never leave you. I lost you once, but not again" He said by caressing my cheeks with his thumb and smiling at me adoringly. I returned the same smile with heartfelt emotion and hugged him tightly with all my might. He too returned it willingly by holding me dearly to him.

It's my first time hugging him willingly and I felt so safe in his arms that I don't want to leave this place forever. Many emotions were running through my heart and brain that I cannot comprehend anything. But I loved the feel of it. I felt so special being in his arms.

He pulled back making some distance by still keeping his arms around me. Looking into my eyes he placed both of his hands on either of my cheeks which were warm against my cold ones making me warm from inside. He bent down and kissed the top of my forehead by placing his lips there and lingering it for a few moments. Then he slowly he kissed both of my cheeks and backed down from me completely leaving me flustered and blush.

"Bye Cutiepie. Goodnight, Take care" He said looking at me with a full-on a smile and turned around and left.

I stared at his retreating figure until he got inside and went back to my room and changed myself with some much effort and took my bed by covering myself with a duvet. All the while there was a smile plastered on my face like a teenage girl.

I thought about everything that happened today and slowly drifted off to my sleep while thinking of his kiss on my cheek.

I came out of the bathroom wrapping a towel around me after taking the warm shower while being careful with my injury and stood in front of my closet to take my pyjamas and t-shirt to wear as it is the weekend and there is no office today but suddenly I remembered that I had to meet Sahana and Charitha in Charitha's room today afternoon and it's already 11:00 AM.

I cursed myself for forgetting it and looked through my closet and took the casual jeans and top to wear now. I went inside the bathroom and changed myself to them and got ready within 20 min and packed my backpack with the outfit for today's evening and went out to find that Dev is in the kitchen and is preparing sandwiches for the both of us.

"Good morning Choti" he wished me when he saw me entering the kitchen and eyed me from top to bottom in a questioning way to ask where am I going.

"Good Morning Dev," I said placing the bag on the nearby chair and got beside him to check the state of sandwiches. "I am going to Charitha's house and you are going to drop me. We planned to meet at her house today." I explained to him while taking a sandwich and placing it on my plate.

"Oh. Cool. So when you will be back then?" He asked smiling while looking at my childishness about the food and shaking his head in amusement.

"What? I am hungry. Don't laugh" I scolded him with a mouthful while glaring at him. "And I might probably come at night itself," I explained to his earlier question. I thought of explaining him about our plan but thought against it and carried on eating my sandwich again.

Anyway, Sahana will call him and let him know about our plan so I don't think it's necessary for me to spoil her plan by revealing it to him.

"Well ok then. I think I will be alone today," he said casually and took his sandwich to eat.

"Yup," I confirmed nodding my head in acceptance while I received the text from Sahana saying that she has started from her room.

According to the plan, we all will go to the restaurant today evening where Sahana will try to flirt with another guy in front of Karthik to make him jealous and open up. And probably this unknown guy is someone we need to look before Dev and Karthik come to the restaurant and we need to make him understand the situation and make him agree with us to act in our plan.

After having our breakfast Dev dropped me at Charitha's house and went back to our house. When I have reached her house there was already Sahana standing on the balcony talking to someone on the call and waving at me with a smile on her face.

I entered inside the house to see that Charitha was sitting on the couch leisurely and watching TV.

When she saw me entering the house, she immediately sprinted towards me and dragged me to the couch with her and made me sit on it. Looking at her enthusiasm I can guess that she is going to tell some gossip or going to ask some question which is nagging at her brain for quite some time.

I smiled looking at her encouraging her to shoot her question or say whatever it is.

"So, what is it this time that is making you very exciting here?" I asked amused at her childish behaviour and made myself comfortable on the couch by keeping both of my legs upside and folding them together.

Sahana too entered the hall and took the seat beside me while placing the mobile on the table beside the couch. Then she turned towards us making herself comfortable.

"Even I am asking the same question from last half an hour but she is damn hell-bent on to stay quiet until you came here." Sahana complained looking at Charitha glaring at her "Now spill the beans girl. You are making me frustrated with that look on your face"  she demanded by folding her hands together all the while looking at her without batting an eyelash.

I wondered what is going on here but I suppose I don't need to wonder much because the next sentence from Charitha's mouth made me freeze on my spot due to shock.
