Don't Misunderstood!

The only sound that Calix was making was the sound of the pen hitting the paper. He was just silently checking the quizlets while minding his own business

"What?" Calix asked in a grouchy manner. He doesn't like how Cain looks at him. It causes everyone's attention to fall into his lap even if he doesn't want to

Who knows what unpleasant words would come out from Klein's mouth if Calix were to say anything?

"Do you also want to join the Drama and Film Club?" Cain inquired and Calix shrugs his shoulder

"Not interested" the man replied. It's not like he has any acting experience nor did he have any film-related hobby

Even if those things can be learned, Calix doesn't have any plans to pour his time and effort into it

Acting would make more people know him and that equals more nuisances. While being part of the crew is not something that he desired. Thus, he immediately refuses

However, Cain wouldn't easily let him off. Currently, everyone in this room is set in joining the Drama and Film Club.. It wouldn't be 'fun' if Calix won't join

If Klein and Calix were to become a member of the same club, wouldn't the club be more 'fun' and 'exciting'?

Cain has a simple plan of messing with the two and he needs to succeed

"Come on, don't be a killjoy. It'll be fun if we all become a member" Cain insisted as he tries to convince Calix but the man just was very much unconvinced

"I said I'm not interested. Besides, there is an audition. You don't have any acting experience nor do you have any film-related skills. How can you even pass?"

Not just everyone can enter the Drama and Film Club. After all, it was close to being a professional club

Some of the 'products' that the club produces were a hit. Since something like that has already been started, the University would of course want to keep the club in a good state causing their standards to be higher than other clubs

"There's an audition for the newbies though. With my looks, I can surely pass as one of their actors?"

Cain seems quite knowledgeable in this area. As the Drama and Film Club is one of the famous clubs in the university, a lot of students aspires to be one of its members

Thus, the club was not only divided into Actors/Actresses and Crews. There were also smaller sub-groups inside the club. Well, they are more like a team

Each team is responsible for its own performance. They have a wide room for independence

This system made it so that it was possible for the club to have a lot of members while also not compromising its quality. Not to mention, more people would be given a chance to showcase their talents and not just the students that were already recognized

Among the teams in the club, the team for the newbies is the one that they can audition for

The newbie group was more limited and has lesser resources but it was understandable since they are not as experienced as the other groups

"Why am I friends with a narcissist?" Calix asked himself while shaking his head. Cain's confidence was too blinding. He was clearly bragging just because he was born with a handsome face

"To be fair, you are a narcissist too" and the thing that Calix doesn't want to happen... happened. Klein wasn't able to hold himself back. Well, he was given a chance to let out at least some of his resentment for Calix, why wouldn't he grab on it?

The others laughed with Klein's words except for Calix himself. Even though Calix has a belly full of anger,  he decided to become the 'bigger person'. He simply just lowered his head to continue checking the papers again without saying anything again

Such a mature act irritates Klein. He feels as if he was being a kid that wants to pick a fight right now

Fortunately, Klein still has his logical side and he decided to stop. He annoyedly grabbed a bag of chips and sat as far as he can from Calix as if that man was carrying some sort of disease

Calix just let him. He tried to help Klein by checking the papers himself and Klein can just rest. But since the person in question insisted on also checking the papers,  what can Calix do?

If he were to say anything, it would just cause another fight

Some hours later, all the quizlets were finally checked. The time that all of them were waiting for arrived as they can finally rest their tired bodies

They might just be sitting on the floor with some soft cushion but checking papers for more than an hour was still terribly exhausting

All of them basically felt sore whether it be in their arms, back, or buttocks

Towards the near end, all of them were already complaining while cursing the sheer number of papers

However, as soon as the papers were done, it was as if someone injected a drug into the two of them

After checking their last papers, Cain and Shane stood up from their seat and spoke at almost the same time

"It's time to drink!" The two announced excitedly while brimming with energy. They were originally grumbling at how tired they were while checking the papers but then, they became excited after they were done since it was time for drinking

"Since the two of you are that excited then buy the drinks while we rest" Klein said tiredly. The exhaustion from being unable to use one of his arm caught up to him and he was too lazy to go out

"Leave it to us!" Shane accepted while raising her thumb. She dragged Cain outside excitedly to buy the drinks

Klein can only shake his head at that. When it comes to drinking, that friend of his would always be fired up

While chuckling a bit, Klein also stood up from his seat to grab a pitcher of water and some glass of water for them to drink

"Aahh, so tired!" Liam mumbled before using the soft cushion as his pillow. Even though the sofa was literally very much near him, the little guy was already too lazy to spend a bit more effort and he simply laid his body down on the cold floor

"You'll get sick" Tristan said out of concern. The floor is cold and if Liam were to lay in it for a long time, it might cause him to get sick

Too bad that the cold brings comfort to Liam's whole body. And he also doesn't want to move anymore

"It's fine! I'm not that weak!" Liam reassured the 'good guy' even though he himself is not convinced by his own words

Well, whatever, he is too lazy to move. He can only pray to all the Gods out there that he wouldn't get sick because of his laziness

Liam did not saw it but Tristan shook his head at that. How can such a little and thin body not be frail?

Tristan wouldn't even be surprised if Liam were to break with only a slight force!

This wouldn't do, this little guy is too lazy even if it is for his health

Tristan's paternal side kicked in again and without saying anything, he starts 'scooping' the little guy from the floor

"A-ahh!" Liam shrieked in surprise but before he can even complain, the cold hard floor was already changed into a soft sofa

The floor is cold and soothing but it was hard. Thus, in terms of comfort, it paled in comparison to the sofa and Liam don't have any reason to complain

"Too light" Tristan muttered. He felt as if even just using a single hand was already enough for him to carry Liam

Although he already knows that since he literally carried Liam back at the university, he was still surprised at how a guy in college can be so light

"I'm not light, you are just too tall" Liam retorted with a pout. In his eyes, the only reason why he is lighter than most people is because of his short height

If he were to become as tall as them, he would weigh much more than his current weight right? Right?

"Here's the water" Klein said after he returned. Since he was only using one hand, it would surely take more than one trip to get the water and glass

Fortunately... or not, some 'bad guy' helps him carry them back to the table. Calix decided to help Klein and although the latter is displeased by the former, he wasn't stupid

Klein has some pride but he certainly wouldn't be prideful as to make things too hard for himself

Since there is someone willing to carry his things, why not let him be? Although this wouldn't be enough, this can be some of Calix's repayment for causing harm to Klein
