Don't Misunderstood!

The two chatted for a while but since the club members are arriving, they went to their respective places

Klein and his friends went to sit on the chairs inside the club room along with the newly arrived Calix and his group of friends

As usual, Klein and Calix gave each other a glare. Out of the six, these two are the only ones that have problems with each other

"Alright, let's see if everyone is already here. I will check the attendance" Dwayne announced and he called the members' names one by one

This particular group has around a hundred people. The majority auditioned for actors and actresses while the others are videographers and writers

After all, in a play or filmed videos, the number of people that will act is greater compared to the ones that will edit or write the script

"First of all, I want to thank you for attending today and I have a few announcements to make. The first club activity that we would have is a short film. As all of you may know, our club is basically an entire acting and film industry group. From the actors to the videographers and scriptwriters, all of those will come from the club itself"

Dwayne started his speech and the students with him listened attentively. His reputation was quite good and it makes people unwilling to antagonize him. Hence, all of them were listening to him

"Our activity for today is simple. We would actually just randomly pick a theme for the film. The chosen team will then be given to our writers and they can submit their entries. The members would then be given copies and we will hold another meeting for us to vote on which one we will choose"

This system made it so that it would lessen the risk of favorabilities since it was the members themselves that will choose

It wouldn't 100% eliminate choosing a work because of a bias but it still has great effects

"For now, we should choose the theme first so that our creative writer can already start thinking of great ideas"

With that, Dwayne took out the box that already has the pieces of paper containing the theme inside

"Who would like to have the honor of picking the theme?" Dwayne asked while looking at the students with him

Unanimously, the members turned to look at Klein that blinked his eyes repeatedly 

"M-me?" Klein mumbled and he saw how his fellow members nodded their heads

Out of the hundred people in the club, there were several men that were famous and known in the whole university

These were the likes of Klein, Calix, Cain, Tristan, and Liam. The one considered as the most handsome was Calix and the second was Klein

However, although Calix is polite, he is far from being friendly. He gave people the feeling that he won't want to interact with them

Klein on the other hand has a good relationship with almost anyone. He gives people the feeling as if he was glad to have the chance to talk with them

Hence, in this group, he was the most popular one

"Go, Klein!"

"Pick a good one!"

"We're counting on you!"

The members around cheered and Klein's cheeks blushes a bit. Since everyone was set on giving him the honor, he didn't disappoint them

Klein stood up from his seat and went to where the box was placed

"Everyone likes you, I feel like the competition would just get bigger and bigger" Dwayne said in a not so loud voice, only enough for Klein to hear

"Senior is joking again" Klein replied, dismissing Dwayne's flirty tone. He is still not used to someone flirting at him, especially if that happens with the same person over and over again

"I'm not joking though" Dwayne said with a pout and Klein just put his hand inside the box

His fingers played with the paper inside as he mixes and mix them. After some time, he finally took out one piece of paper and he opened it

"Historical Drama" Klein read the words inside the paper and he don't know if it was good or not

Fortunately, the public reaction seems to be quite good. After all, most people dreamed of becoming Princes or Princesses. Isn't this a good chance for them to experience something similar

"Woah, I think this is exciting"

"Right, would the script be about Concubines fighting for the Emperor's love?"

"Maybe, it would be a story about a Prince and Princess if two opposing Kingdoms!"

"I would love a Royalty x Commoner for more drama!"

The members talked with themselves while the writers already start brainstorming for ideas

After all, if their short film became a hit, these authors would also receive some fame and opportunities 

This group may be a group of newbies but... newbies sometimes get more attention compared to those that already have some experience 

Newbies have always been the center of attention. People are looking forward if these people would give them a surprise

Thus, although they are not filled with more than enough resources, they still have a lot of prospects

"Being a Prince in the film will surely suit you" Dwayne commented in a flirting manner and Klein can only shake his head with a chuckle

The meeting continued for some time before the members were all dismissed and the members starts heading out

As soon as the meeting finishes, Shane immediately tried to salvage herself from eating plain and tasteless bread for dinner

Fortunately, she remembered something that might help her situation 

"You boys go first, I have something to talk with Klein!" Shane said in a dismissing tone while dragging Klein that frowned at her

"I'm also a man" Klein said but Shane didn't reply

When Shane cannot see the others anymore only then did she turned to look at Klein

"Give me a week of good and I'll give you a piece of information that you would thank me for knowing" Shane started the negotiation and Klein raised his brows

"And that information would be?" 

What could Klein possibly need to know?

"It's about Calix!" Shane answered and Klein immediately rolled his eyes

"I don't like him and I don't need to know anything about him" Klein said in a dissatisfied tone

Please! If he has a choice, he would never spend even a single second with that guy especially after what happened a week ago!

"You two have that bet, right? The one that the winner would be the one that would get the higher score for the prelims?"

With that, Klein's interest was piqued. He almost forgot about the bet already. But now that Shane made him recall it, the prelims are just around the corner

He only has one or two weeks before the exam starts

"What about it?" Klein asked

"Promised me first that you'll let me eat foods that human eats for a whole week and I'll spill the beans!"

"I promise but only if your information is really useful"

Klein knows that Shane fooling him would only worsen her situation. But even then, Klein can't think of something that he should know that involves Calix and the bet

"That's good enough!" Shane said before spilling the tea. "Klein, you are always the number 1 in our former schools. You're even our batch's valedictorian but I heard from Cain that Calix is also like that! He might not look like it but he also always got the top score not just in his section but the whole school! If you want to win, you must study even harder!"

Klein was surprised to hear that. It was really news to him

He doesn't want to stereotype but good looking people, especially at the level of Calix often times have a harder time grasping school lessons

Most of the time, they don't really care that much about their studies

Not to mention, Calix doesn't seem like he studies really hard. Hence, Calix being that smart never entered Klein's wildest dreams

"Are you telling the truth?" Klein asked in doubt. Although the chances of Shane fooling him is low he still can't believe that that bastard was that smart 

Was the universe really unfair? Not only did they gave Calix that handsome look and b-big package... he is even smart compared to his peers?

Where's the balance? Who the hell is in charge of this simulation, they need to do a balance patch!

"I'm not lying. I hears it from Cain himself and he even showed me Calix's graduation picture. If you want, you can see it on Facebook. Calix was really a valedictorian in his batch!" Shane did her best to convince Klein

Her having the chance to eat 'real human food' depends on whether Klein would believe her or not

Shane cannot messed it up.. She is already tired of eating unpalatable foods. Even if she were to cry for help with her friends and boyfriend, they are still unwilling to help her in fear for Klein
