Lesson 4: Senior Adventurer

Day 5 after receiving your first request.

"Congratulations. This makes you an E-class adventurer, too, Mars."

The Adventurer's Rank was promoted from F-Rank to E-Rank.

When asked what it would take to improve the rank in the Adventurer Alliance within the second day, he was told that he would need to complete at least ten requests above the F rank in order to be promoted to the E rank.

So after two requests a day, I finally got a rank up on day five.

Blessed is Mr. Rooty, but honestly there is little sense of accomplishment. It was an easy victory for a demon opponent like the one being crusaded in the F-rank, and I tried to get a request to collect into the woods to see if he would come out again with a bear-shaped demon - even a brown bear, but he never came out in the end.

It was delicious... well, I still have extra meat, okay?

"So now you can get an E-rank request too, what do you do?

They show me a new requisition.

When I checked the contents, I had a few requests that I had to go away a little.

It's just that what I was asking for was like wanting to gain experience as an adventurer and my spare time until I gathered information about my missing father.

"Did you gather more information about your father than that?

Mr. Rooty was shaking his head to the side.

"Unfortunately, you haven't gathered any prominent information. Two pieces of information came in, but they obviously thought it was a gaseneta, so they let me play it here"

If you ask me in detail, it was that I saw them both a week ago in a town far from here. However, he decided that he was not credible because his rank as an adventurer was low and his usual predisposition could not be described as good.

"Anyway, the amount of information is too low. All we know is where he went missing and the face to be searched. I wish I had at least information on which direction I was headed..."

"Excuse me. Something went missing abruptly..."

I had to apologize because I knew it was hard to follow my father's whereabouts from less information, too.

In the meantime, I'm thinking about crushing it again, whether it's a request or a take and time.

"Hmm? Luti, what's wrong with your difficult face?

One male adventurer has spoken.

You seem familiar with Mr. Rooty.

The male adventurer had a tired look somewhere with dirty armor everywhere he was wearing whether he was returning for a favor or not.

"Mr. Blaze... yes, Mr. Blaze and the others were rolling all over the city at the merchant's request for escort"

"Oh, yeah. I just finished my report when I got back."

"Then you could have witnessed it."

"What do you mean?

Blaze, the adventurer called, turns his gaze on me.

I'm guessing Mr. Routie asked me for the circumstances, supposedly a little excited and close associate.

"My father disappeared about ten days ago, and I've been sending out requests for information to see if anyone knows where he is, and I've been having trouble gathering some powerful information."

"I see. By the way, what kind of guy are you looking for?

Mr. Routie shows me the request form and Mr. Blaze confirms my father's face.

But that look is not excellent.

"I'm sorry. I showed my face everywhere with a merchant's escort, but I don't remember ever meeting a guy like this."

"No, thank you for your cooperation"

Really, where have you been?

"In the meantime, I've just ranked up, so I'm going to take an e-rank request to try it out"

"Hmm. You just got an e-rank"

Mr. Blaze was observing me from head to toe.

Standing somewhere uncomfortable, I noticed that Mr. Blaze's gaze was poured into the sword, coat and shoes I had.

"The equipment you have is also a first-class item."

The effect is hidden, so even if 'appraisal' was used, you shouldn't know the big deal, but Mr. Blaze seemed to have felt something.

"That's right. Mr. Blaze, have you received the request yet?

Suddenly, Mr. Routie asked.

"Oh...... I just really wanted to put in a vacation because I just finished a long request, but I got a little situation and I got a request to crusade a bunch of demons"

For once, I saw a bulletin board with a requisition sticker on my guild to see what other requests were besides the one that Mr. Routie would introduce me to, and I was checking out the whole list of requests that were sticking out at that time.

Even then, the request to 'crusade the herd of demons' had been pasted where the C-rank request was made.

"It's only a crusade request sent out by Sails Village, isn't it? Then why don't you take him with you because you don't mind packing?

... Huh? Mr. Rooty is recommending me for some reason.

"Dude, even a brief investigation of the guild has a population of nearly a hundred opponents. I'm not taking an amateur who just got an E-rank, even though he's packing in a place like that."

"I assure you that I have more than an E-rank or a D-rank for strength. It's just that I've almost easily completed my F-rank assignment, so there's something that makes it easier for me to think about asking for an Adventurer Alliance."

Well, it's true that I've been thinking about it in my spare time.

"I see. So you're trying to make adventurers feel tough by letting them experience C-rank assignments."

"Yes."

Mr. Rooty was smiling.

I also realized that I was doing too easily for my F-rank request.

"Um, I'm just an e-ranked adventurer, but is it okay to take a C-rank request?

"No problem. This time, we'll be asked to be part of the B-Rank Party," The Red Lotus Sun, "so we'll be treated as B-Rank temporarily."

"So it's still going to take a while for the information to gather, and we'll see if we can get a request together"

Are you there?

I don't know what to ask, but solicitation from the Adventurer Guild receptionist and senior adventurer.

I can't say no to this...

"Yes, I will help you with a slight force"

Well, I'll take it, especially because there's no reason I have to say no.

"All right, today the other guys are out preparing for the request, so the referral of the guys is tomorrow. We'll meet tomorrow morning in front of the city's north gate."

Mr. Blaze walked out of the Adventurer's Guild laughing.

I'm still in front of Mr. Rooty because I have a new request to take.

"The person just now is a senior adventurer named Mr. Blaze, right?"

"Speaking of which, you didn't make an introduction. He's a B-rank adventurer by the name of Blaze."

That doesn't match the request, does it?

"Can a B-rank adventurer take a C-rank request?

"You don't have a problem getting a lower rank than you do. That's quite true, but in their case it does matter that there are a few circumstances, as he said."

"A little situation?

"It would be nice to hear from us about the area. It's also important to get close to seniors and hear all kinds of know-how. Just the right thing to do for a conversation."

While you're at it, get me a requisition form and check the contents of the request.

The request was made by the village chief of Sails, who wanted to ask for a crusade because the demons that lived in the nearby woods had at some point formed a herd and the village fields had been vandalized several times.

"If you're in C-rank, you can get used to it within the moment, as there are requests from far away to confirm to the client that you crusaded unlike before."

This request, however, is a crusade of herds nestled in the woods.

It can't be over if you crusade appropriately as before and prove that you took home and crusaded demon stones and such.

"Okay. We'd like to work with you as far as we can."

Thus, it was decided to accompany the senior adventurer.
