Everyday Players at Hogwarts

Chapter 95: Ghost Dinner

You may all be wondering why the dinner was held the day after the start of the school term.

Just now on the stage, I heard many interesting speculations about giving Harry Potter a special contribution award; welcoming the new Minister of Magic Amelia Bones; and some even said that it was because I drove away all the ghosts.

Unfortunately, you all guessed wrong. At this point, Dumbledore winked mischievously.

The students in the audience couldn't help but boo in disappointment.

The Gryffindor table obviously had more people.

However, unexpectedly, the leader was Gryffindor's prefect Percy.

Not Fred and George.

You know, he has always been so rigid that almost all Gryffindor students don't like him.

But now, he seems to have changed and is truly accepted by the Gryffindors.

It's not because of good grades, being a Gryffindor, being liked and respected by the professors.

This doesn't mean that you are not smart enough.

Only I know the specific reason.

You know, even the other professors on the stage have the same idea as you.

Just like Professor Flitwick, who jumped up in the headmaster's office and shook my hand excitedly, saying that he was thanking me for giving Harry the Special Contribution Award. At this point, Professor Flitwick on the side awkwardly drank sherry, as if he hadn't heard anything.

Professors McGonagall, Sprout, and Snape beside him, although they tried their best to cover up, couldn't help but reveal the slightly raised corners of their mouths.

Professor McGonagall concealed it the best, and her lips were almost invisible, but the crow's feet at the corners of her eyes because of her smile became another proof of her gloating.

However, it was obvious that they were too happy too early.

Like Professor McGonagall, I'm talking about you, Minerva. And Professor Snape, even Professor Sprout, all hinted to me that the Special Contribution Award could be given to Harry, but the points should not be added. Hearing this, the smiles on the faces of the professors retreated like a tide.

Although they guessed the purpose of this dinner wrongly, Harry Potter did deserve the reward.

The highest and most cheers came from the Ravenclaw table.

Gryffindor was next, and Slytherin was the least popular, as expected.

But Slytherin had Draco and his friends, so although the cheers were the least, the decibels were not much different from Ravenclaw.

This cheering actually revealed that Draco Malfoy also had the talent of a high-pitched singer.

After the cheers, there was a suffocating silence.

The students in the audience, and even some of the teased teachers, looked at Dumbledore, who was standing upright and was a part-time host of tonight and a talk show host.

And Dumbledore finally spoke with a smirk: It's a pity that there is no special contribution award, but

Before the students in the audience could complain, they were held their breath by Dumbledore's words.

But Harry will get extra points, 20 points for Ravenclaw!

It's a pity that Severus, Minerva, and Pomona have disappointed you all.

I almost forgot, there is also Filius, it's a pity that there is no special contribution award.

Although Harry deserves a hundred special contribution awards and a hundred points for his contribution to us.

But Harry has already received the best reward, the ownership of the Ravenclaw crown!

Hearing this, the whole room burst into thunderous applause again.

Okay, be quiet.

This is not that I favor Harry, or that I privately give Hogwarts' property to a private person. You may not know that Ravenclaw actually has no descendants. The owner of the crown, or the only person who has the right to inherit it, is the only daughter of the great Ravenclaw of Ms. Grey.

Ravenclaw's friends may know that she intended to give the crown to Harry because with Harry's help, the Ravenclaw crown was brought to light.

Ms. Grey may also think that Harry deserves it.

And our dinner today is also related to the incident that happened in the Ravenclaw common room this morning.

It can even be said that it is related to the Ravenclaw crown. Dumbledore is acting as a riddler as usual.

Everyone is used to it, only the first-year freshmen who are not used to it can't help their curiosity.

But they saw that everyone else was listening silently, so they didn't dare to speak.

However, the crown in question was the one that turned into a ghostly dress, a ghostly crown on Ms. Grey's head.

With the help of Ms. Grey and my little effort, I also successfully mastered the magic.

At this point, Dumbledore stopped.

Because he knew that he couldn't continue his speech smoothly.

It was necessary to give the many professors and students who understood a little buffer time.

Did I hear it right? Does this mean that ghosts can also have wands again?

Can they eat in the future?

Will they poop? Pearly white?

Can I pursue Ms. Grey? Then hehe

Can I turn myself into a ghost when I die?

.

Because of Dumbledore's words, the stage and the audience were full of noise.

Ahem, everyone's guesses are all good.

But the magic of Ravenclaw is also difficult for me.

I can now turn inanimate non-magical substances into ghosts.

And there is a time limit.

I can only turn food into ghosts.

So, everyone guessed it, tonight is the ghosts and our dinner!

Let's eat! Dumbledore waved his wand and sat down again.

The golden plates on the table were immediately filled with a dazzling array of food.

Next to the candles suspended in the air, there were pearly white transparent tables also suspended in the air, and they were also filled with pearly white transparent food. Ghosts ran out of the wall one by one and floated next to the dining table with the same style as them.

They all had joyful smiles on their faces.

Sir Nicholas, you have to be careful. The fat monk kindly reminded.

However, due to the body structure, a piece of chopped steak accidentally leaked out from the neck of the almost headless Nick and passed through the body of Seamus who was feasting.

It's so cold! What is it? Seamus raised his head slightly, but his hands were still stuffing things into his cheeks non-stop.

Child, it's food.

But it's really amazing. The food just now went straight through the ground and I don't know where it fell. Because of curiosity, Nick looked under the ground and showed his head at Seamus' feet.

However, only Nick, who was so lively that he didn't look like a ghost, had the time to wander around.

The other ghosts were eating and drinking without restraint, their usual elegance and grace were gone.

Even the Bloody Baron, who had a bitter face, was drinking an indecipherable kind of wine at the top of the Slytherin table in the corridor.
