Chapter 175: Snape in Distress

Chapter 399: Distressed Snape

Snape felt that the world was becoming more and more magical.

First, Voldemort said he wanted to make peace with them, and then before they could discuss it clearly, the first generation of the Dark Lord was released from prison.

What happened next was even more shocking, Voldemort died again!

When did the Dark Lord become so easy to deal with!

It was as easy to die as a beagle worm!

What was even more surprising was that it was Dumbledore's mistress, Grindelwald, who did it.

Moreover, Snape also discovered that the new faces of Voldemort's men, the mysterious people who were chasing him, were all his students.

For the first time, Snape wondered if he had done something wrong.

According to Slytherin's education, they should follow the more powerful party.

And now he has Dumbledore and another Voldemort on his side.

He shouldn't have joined the loser even if he thought about it.

But obviously, his students think that the pure-blood theory is more important than interests.

The purebloods used lies to claim their nobility, and they deceived themselves.

However, none of this mattered.

Although he himself was unwilling to admit it.

But he really cared about Harry Potter.

Recently, the boy had been alienated from him for some reason.

It was a kind of alienation that wanted to get close to him, but for some reason he didn't dare to look him in the eye.

This almost made him think that he was cursed by Voldemort and looked different.

After repeatedly looking in the mirror secretly, he mistakenly thought that it was Sirius who said bad things about him.

But after several physical and verbal battles with Sirius, he ruled this out.

He also suspected that Harry had dreamed of something, dreaming of him pretending to be Voldemort's undercover, and that he didn't dream the whole thing, that he had a falling out with Voldemort and was being hunted down.

But Hagrid's test and his observation of Harry proved that this guess was also wrong.

Why!

Why did Harry alienate him!

What made him even more irritated was that he didn't know why.

So, he developed the habit of pacing outside his potion storage room after dinner.

This also made him inevitably hear the whispers of Slytherin and Hufflepuff students outside the corridor.

But he didn't care at all.

But today was different, he heard something!

"Damn Ron Weasley! There is definitely something wrong with his thing."

"But Professor Flitwick has verified that there is no danger. He is still registered with the Ministry of Magic."

"Professor Flitwick is the head of Ravenclaw, and the Ministry of Magic - hum! We all know that Ron's father is the director of the Department of Law Enforcement. Do you really believe that Ron Weasley will invent any magic?" A fierce argument attracted Snape's attention.

Ron Weasley, the name of Harry's friend, and the combination of invention, which seemed to Snape to be irrelevant, made Snape particularly curious.

Will this be related to Harry's alienation from him! !

With such hope, Snape walked out of the corridor.

"Professor Snape!" They were two Hufflepuff students, one named Ernie MacMillan and the other Justin Finch-Fletchley.

"What invention are you talking about?" Snape said coldly.

This tone made Ernie and Justin shudder.

"It's a mist, a mist in a bottle."

"Yes, that's it."

"Ron invented it!"

"After breathing it in, you can experience the memory from Ron's first-person perspective." The two said hurriedly, fearing that Snape would be impatient.

"Justin, you seem to think there is a problem with this. Did you question it in front of Weasley?"

"What was Harry's reaction?" Snape's eyes were empty.

"Harry?"

"He is completely different from usual, very impatient, and even mocked me."

"I think--" Just when Justin wanted to continue, Snape's cold words interrupted him,

"Okay, you can go."

"Goodbye, Professor Snape." The two disappeared in a flash.

Snape stood there, his dark pupils like a train tunnel, filled with indifference that kept people away.

"Ron Weasley? Him? Invention?"

"Is Harry in a bad mood?"

"There must be a secret here. Maybe that's why Harry is alienated from me." Under Snape's cold appearance, a huge wave was set off.

Time, 10 o'clock, in the principal's office on the 8th floor. Dumbledore looked at Snape in front of him helplessly.

"So, you think Ron has a problem?"

"Of course! I know Weasley's magic level best, you know the reason - Harry."

"There must be something strange here!"

"I think it needs to be investigated carefully!" Snape was like a child complaining to his parents at this time.

"Severus, we all know why you are here."

"It's the same reason as your argument with Sirius some time ago."

"Filius has checked that magic, and I have even explored it out of curiosity."

"It's a simple fog spell."

"The magic that is different from the fog spell is all because of Ron himself."

"He just discovered his talent."

"There's nothing surprising about this, just like Tom is particularly good at the killing curse." Dumbledore rubbed his temple.

He was so headache that he didn't notice his inappropriate metaphor.

"Ahaha - it's Voldemort! I wonder if this is the influence of Voldemort through Harry, after all, Weasley sleeps next to Harry." Dumbledore's words reminded Snape of something, and he began to chatter.

"This is impossible, your skills may not be enough, but from my perspective, after Harry started school this year, his magic power is like a tomorrow, and Voldemort can only rely on occasional accidents and his connection with Harry to temporarily connect."

"But if Voldemort himself wants to take the initiative, his evil and broken soul can't do it at all."

"As for the weirdness, maybe there is something about Harry."

"After the Christmas holiday, in my eyes, the holy, tomorrow-like magic began to be restrained, but that was not weakened, but strengthened."

"Perhaps Ron was infected by Harry's magic and discovered his own strengths." Dumbledore's serious eyes contained a little bit of relief.

"This won't be good for him--"

"What about Harry?" Snape's voice was hoarse, and he couldn't help but stretch out his hand, as if he wanted to grab something.

"Harry has the Horcrux, Lily's blessing, and the secret of the Obscurus after being cleansed. He is a miracle in himself."

"Even in my original plan, I just let him be an ordinary Hogwarts student and didn't tap his huge potential."

"But I was wrong. The red spark of miracle, the magic phoenix, and the changes now all mean one thing. Everything about him has long exceeded my understanding-the existing magic field." At this point, Dumbledore sighed.

"What? Obscurus!!!" A sharp roar came from Snape's mouth.
