If you lose it's not over,

but if you stop

then it will be over

- Japanese quote.

The buŧŧerfly disintegrates in a few seconds, leaving behind an infused voice message.

"Mel bel, guess who?" It was a deep voice, the coarseness of it sends shivers down my spine, and brings a bright smile on my face. Sebastian.

I feel a warm pair hands cover my eyes, I pull them down and turn around to face him.

"What are you doing here?" I ask with my brow raised.

"I missed you." He reaches out to hug me, but I avoid his clutches before he could grab me. A silly grin still plastered onto my face.

"Nuh uh, I just took a bath, I don't know where you've been. You might give me some unmentionable disease."

"Come on Mel don't be like that. I'm clean." I giggle and then throw my body on him.

*Oof*, he stumbles back a bit before steadying himself and returning the hug. I inhale in his scent, he smells so good.

After a while my curiosity wins and I break the romantic atmosphere with my question. "Be honest Tian Tian, why are you really here?"

"Kingdom related business. Father sent me here to converse with the headmaster about something important." He is being oddly vague for some reason, but since he doesn't want to relay any more information I don't pressure him.

"How long are you going to be here for?" I ask.

"Mmm, maybe a couple of days. Depends on how long it takes to resolve the issue." I nod my head, satisfied that I get to have him to myself for a few days.

"However, when I go back. I am heading straight to Father and I'm going to demand that we be engaged."

"I like the sound of that."

----------------------------------------------------- (Sebastian's POV)

I like Melia, a lot. At times I feel strange around her though, with the huge age gap and me being reborn. I don't think I could ever tell her such a big secret. I'm afraid of how she'll react. Marrying an old man? Who'd want that. I don't want to lose her. Not now that I've already started to picture her in my future.

Her voice is like a melody to my ears. I adore her. I don't usually talk much around others, but when I am with her I want to say as much as I could, hoping that she would remember everything I say. That way she would never forget me. I want to be close to her to the point that when she see's something her mind can't help but retract to me, thinking. 'Oh Sebastian likes that too.' I've never fallen for someone before, but the more I got to know her I knew it was inevitable for me to gather feelings. I mean, just look at her! She's amazing.

"Sebastian."

"Sebastian."

"SEBASTIAN!"

"Oh, sorry did I space out." I say sheepishly.

"Yeah, you were staring at me really hard. You didn't blink at all, are you alright?"

"I'm fine don't worry about me. Worry about out wedding night."

A beautiful blush spreads across her face, a strand of her gorgeous silver hair falling onto her face. "I could say the same thing to you." She retorts. My mind thinks about something dirty and I can't help my gaze from darkening.

"That's it you ŀustful demon, get out. You look like you want to eat me." She keeps avoiding my eyes, I rarely get to see this side of her. Most of the time she yells at me for something.

"I can't eat you yet, your not ready."

"Y-you shut up. Stop teasing me."

"Okay, okay I'll stop." I hold my hands up to show that I surrender.

She sits back on the bench beside us and I sit adjacent her. I lightly pull her soft palms in mine, playing with her fingers. Her hand is so small compared to my own.

"Tian Tian." She asks sweetly. It's so full of sugar I feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I have a feeling whatever she asks next will earn me a beating.

"How long were you here, as in this room."

"Not long maybe about five minutes." Suddenly I feel a painful pinch on my ear.

"Ow, ow, ow , ow , ow don't pull the ears. They're sėnsɨtɨvė, they are delicate." She lets go after wringing it a little and I can feel the blood pool to the tips of my ears.

"Knock next time! If word got out that you were in here with me, while I bathed my reputation would have been ruined!"

"But I didn't see anything-" Her death glare is enough to shut me up and I tell her that I will pay more attention to it next time.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I'm in the headmaster's office. My face is impassive as I take in everything before me, no one can see through me.

"I understand that you are here to discuss the strange phenomena's that has been happening recently." The headmaster of this school is a wise sage. He specializes in the dark elements just like myself.

"I don't have time to cut around the bush Kuragari Fujin. You and I both know it's because the force field is weakening. Passing it off to public as just a weird coincidence will not work this time. I came with a warning from my father along with the other kingdom's. They want you to know that by the end of three years time. They're children had better be ace warriors. Tensions are running thin between the Emperor's. I'm afraid it will only take a tiny misunderstanding for there to be a full blown war between the kingdoms. With the threat of the force field weakening, that will not be within the best interest of anyone."

Kuragari's face turns serious a sharp glint in his eyes. "Though I do not take kindly to threats I understand that this is a serious topic. You have my word that they will be prepared. We will defeat those humanoid beasts."

Good, the meeting ended better than I expected. I did not have to use much force. "Thanking you for your ȧssistance headmaster.

"Mhm, It is my duty." He shakes my hand and I exit the office. I have to come back tomorrow to discuss some minor details, but at least I can look forward to seeing my soon to be fiancé. I am sure she won't mind if I eavesdrop on some of her classes. Or all, it's not like I memorized her entire schedule before I came here.

Walking down the hallway I spot Melia's older brother Benjamin. That fool thinks he can stop Melia from marrying me. It is only because I have great self restraint that I haven't burnt off all of his hair these past years that I have known him.

His eyes narrow like a hawk once he glances in my direction. He shrugs off one of the girl's pestering him, then moves towards me.

"What are you doing here."

"I don't believe that is any of your concern."

"I better not see you lounging around my baby sister like some lost puppy." His angry voice does not faze me at. I'm not the least bit scared of him.

"Or what." I know it's childish but I like provoking him. It's an interesting site watching the veins pop out of his head. He looks as though he is going to cough up blood from all of the suppressed anger.

"You don't want to find out. Stay away from Melia. No one will be good enough for her. Especially you." He strolls pass me as if he didn't spend the last three minutes threatening me.. Drama Queen. I wonder how my Mel Bel even handles him?
