"Dear students as you all should know, this academy's main focus has been excellence in everything that we do for many years. Our people's grades have always been outstanding which is why when it comes to where the nobles want to send their children for higher education, we are always their first choice. However recently it appears that this year's students have been lagging behind-" Someone taps the headmaster on the shoulder and whispers something in his ear. They are protected by an array so that no one can peer in on the conversation. The person leaves after saying his piece, sitting down on a chair behind the leader of the school.

"This school is not a sect, having connections with people in high positions will not save you from being punished. Fighting is not allowed yet recently that is all I ever seem to hear that's new. The school is on an emergency lockdown schedule so that you weak minded children, still wet with milk behind the ears will take this as an opportunity to advance by leaps and bounds in your studies. Failure to do so will result in severe consequences. Anyone who ranks within the top four of any of their classes will receive a reward." After saying this the headmaster excuses us to go to our dorm rooms and begin our studies.

I find it a bit peculiar that a few bad grades can cause an emergency lockdown. I have never heard of this happening at all during any of the years since Winston School has been established.

After some more higher up staff speak a few courtesy words we are dismissed.

Ora walks next to me lost in thought. "What's wrong hun? What are you worried about?" I question.

"Huh-Oh...I, um. It's just the things that headmaster addressed. My grades aren't all the best right now and I already got a letter from my father warning me. I'm just pretty stressed right now, that's all."

I elbow her playfully and say, "Why didn't you tell me? I can help you with your studies. We're best friends are we not?" It's a rhetorical question. I manage to cheer her up with those few words and she slings her arm over my shoulders.

"You're right, I have a tutor right here, and she's free." I roll my eyes, a smile still hanging on my lips.

She walks me to my dorm first since she has to past mine to get to hers. "Well, this is me." I say.

Dramatically she says, "Tell me dear that this shan't be the last time we meet?"

"Of course not sire, my heart longs for you more than the sun for the moon. If this is our last late night rendezvous I'd rather die by a thousand slices than to never see you again." My hand clutch my ċhėst as I try to put as much emotion in my voice as possible. I bȧrėly keep my giggles at bay.

"Say no more madam, Seeing you is like a potent alcohol that I can't get enough of, my mind is hooked on the ecstasy." At that last part we both stare at each other before erupting into laughter.

A few years ago Gazora and I hired a famous theatre troop to entertain us at the palace. They performed a piece called The poet and the noble Madame. It was a pretty good romance story and we were obsessed with it ever since then. Those lines were our favorite part about it.

(A/N: This is a completely made up theatre performance, however if it does bear semblance to something you do know I apologize it was not my intention to plagiarize.)

Sebastian knocks on my door a few moments later after Ora leaves. I poke my head out of the door crack, "Do you see anyone near? I don't want anyone to start unfounded rumors about me."

"No love, the coast is clear." Trusting his skills I let him in.

Baozi comes running out of the room in human form as a toddler to see who the visitor is. Seeing that it is Sebastian he is enthusiastic as the prince usually brings good quality snacks for him to eat.

"Don't worry Baozi I brought you a level three roasted boar to eat. The meat is very tender and has a savory taste. It melts in your mouth almost." The description has got my stomach rumbling as well.

"Give it here young heir. Do not tease I your grandfather." The bird still does not know anything about humility. I don't know where he gets it from!?

"Baozi tell Sebastian thank you right now." He looks at me with resistance but I give him the death glare. Something I learned from the caretakers who worked at the orphanage I was at back on earth. It easily scared the naughty disobedient children into submission.

"Hmph, The great I gives you thanks." Haughtily he walks away. His cowlick sticking high up in the air.

"Tian Tian it is a good thing you came over because I wanted to ask you a question. I don't believe the excuse that the headmaster came up with. Tell me what the real reason is." My arms cross against my ċhėst under my bosom. His gaze looks at where my arms are positioned before quickly looking away. A blush coats his entire face and I cannot help but chuckle. Looks I still got it.

"Well, there's been a series of murders recently and the department of Investigation sent a letter to him warning that it might be potentially dangerous for the students to stay put of the acdemy at night and maybe soon, even in the day. So the headmaster acted right away. As you know some of the students here aren't the brightest apples, but their backings are very strong. If something harmful happens to any of them... well lets just say there are plenty people who have their eyes glued on the seat of being headmaster of Winston academy. One false move and it is the end."

"I knew it had to be something serious. If the department of Investigation says that it is potentially dangerous, then that means they are sugar coating it. Which is not good. They probably haven't gotten quite far with the case have they?"

"Correct." Sebastain moves closer to me.

Lowering his voice dangerously he says, "You know, you're quite attractive when you talk with such a stern aura. Your intelligence makes you look even more beautiful than you are now."

"Oh shut up." I say shlyly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Waking down the hallway Ora hums a random tune to herself. "Ugh, I'm so hungry now. Maybe I should have stayed and asked Mel to cook something up for me."

Suddenly a girl comes running out of a side hallway towards her, Ora easily sidesteps the girl before their bodies collide. 'What in goddess name! Is she crazy?'

"P-please help me, a group of girls are chasing after me. One of them keeps saying that I stole her dimension ring but I didn't." Ora looks at the girl's face and it doesn't seem as though she is lying to her. Those tears also don't look like crocodile tears.

"Alright, I'll help you." She helps the girl up and helps her straighten her skirt. "Where are these girls?"

"Back there, can you hear them?" Gazora listens closely, and she can hear rushing footsteps along with high pitched screams of anger.

"Yeah, they are coming this way. Take me to them." Ever since she was a child Ora's mom instilled into her the importance of having a good heart. She hates those nobles who walk with a stick up their ȧsses, as they look at the commoners as people who owe them something. It makes her disgusted.

She's a little suspicious of the girl's story though. She could be another Elizabeth. Then again, there is a chance that she isn't, how could she live with herself knowing she had a chance to stop these people from wronging this girl and making her life miserable, but passed on that opportunity because she was scared.

Strengthening her resolve, Ora walks with steady steps towards them. The girl beside her still has tears dripping down her face but her hands are clenched. Ora thinks that it is because she is scared of these girls, but still wants to try and defend herself. Maybe her opinion of the girl was wrong after all?

The sounds get louder as she gets closer. "Do you know who they are?" Because of her internal conflict, Ora doesn't seem to observe that the hallways are suspiciously empty for some reason. It is abnormal.

"Ye-Yeah them." She points to the side of Ora, and when Ora turns her head the girl suddenly attacks her. Ora takes a decent punch to the side, it knocks her into a wall that suddenly appears out of nowhere.

She hits her head on it. "What the heck! You bitch!"

That's when she notices that the footsteps of those supposed mean girls have stopped. She see's the girl's mouth had stopped moving, and remembers how it was always opening and closing on there way here... The sounds were coming from her? 'Who is this chick?' Her eyes widen wide in realization that she had been tricked into coming here. She walked right into a trap.

"I see you aren't that stupid after all." The unknown girl's voice is deep, like it is coming from in her stomach. She watched as the girl's nails elongate into claws. Her arms become hairy and her eyes that were once a light pink becomes chocolate brown.

"Oh I'm going to have so much fun feeding off of you."
