The scenery abruptly switched again.

This time I'm in space, floating amongst the stars. It's silent, everything looks so peaceful and serene, which is ironic, considering the brutality of the atmosphere a minute ago.

I look around me in awe, everything is so pretty.

My eyes stop on the moon. Its circular glowing body mesmerizing. It pulls me towards it with invisible hands, as if I'm wounded with a rope.

I stop right in front of it, only a little space between us two.

Suddenly, a voice sounds in my ear, it is suprisingly familiar.

"Hello, my child." No way!

It can't be?

"Do you remember me?" It's really her!

"M-moon goddess?"

"Ahh, so you have." Her voice is clear and soothing.

It's so surreal, I never thought I'd get the chance to talk to her again. I wonder what she's reached out to me for?

"I've come with a warning my darling."

The atmosphere goes quiet, the twinkling of the stars dimming and everything just getting darker.

"What is it? Did I do something wrong!?"

" 'sigh' I'm afraid it's a mixture of both, child."

"Do you realize, that, the moment you were born into this world, the prophecy has already began; Time's running out, and if you don't reach your first goal in within the expected date, then...you'll die."

"Die! How can I die?! Who's gonna kill me?"

"No one's going to kill...you, I'm afraid the danger is yourself. Over time, you've....started to change. The aura around you has started to become more dark and sinister, now that you've entered the devil purgation stage there's an increased chance of you going......rogue."

"What do you mean by rogue?"

" I know that you're not from here, so think of rogue as your old worlds term for-suicidal........"

My heart drops to my stomach. I'm only fifteen here. I thought I had plenty of time before the war, to gather the kingdoms and all that shit. But now, I'm running out of time!?

I inhale, taking in a deep breath,

"how much time do I have to do everything."

"Maybe about 2-4 years, it's not alot."

Woah, so she was telling the truth.

"Wi- Will I be able to successfully break out of the devil purgation stage?"

"If we're talking about leveling up without any reprucussions then, no. But you can successfully break through."

"What are the consequences? Why am I not able to have a break through without anything going wrong. How bad is the result."

"You mindset would have become more twisted, It's not something I can properly explain because I don't know the depth of it, it varies depending on the person. The reason why there won't be a good outcome for you is because of your past life. You had too many unpleasant things happen to you, and so demons in the spirit world have already attatched themselves to your body.

Ok so that calmed me down....not!

I knew there was something different about me after that whole illusion fiasco, but I didn't think it was this serious. It kind of explains my weird thoughts and emotions lately, that strange moment when I licked blood and..I didn't feel repulsed at all.

It makes sense now.

"I'm sorry it had to be like this, but it's not my place to tell you the reason."

"Then. Who. Is. IT!" I'm started to feel annoyed now. All of this information is getting pushed onto me without any warning at all. There were no signs. The situation was going great! I was leveling up at a fast pace my studies were at a good place, I had a great number of people supporting me. Why?! Why does it have to turn out like this."

I want to hate her, just to blame her for everything. But I know it's not jer fault and I don't want to be unreasonable. Gods it would be so much easier to hate her, to lash out on her, but that goes againt my upbringing.

Then there's the saying:

Don't hate the player, hate the game, which oddly fits this situation right now.

"My child. I know it is extremely tough on you, all of this pressure and expectations, but that's just the way things have to be, I can not tell you that person's identity, you've already met them before, but at the moment they are quite busy with how they'll show themself to you again.." I don't speak for a while. Collecting my thoughts.

"Okay, I understand. Is there anything else of importance that you have to say, Etherina."

"Yes, please be careful with those who claim to be your friend, they are not always what they may seem. I need you to hurry up destroy Jezebeth and her seed if you want to be able to succeed in the long run, what they are cooking up, it is not good."

"I know that, anything else?"

"Also, um, can you tell that that old man in your space, ahem..that Xue Tao said...hi."

"Um okayyyy, why not."

After that long conversation, everything just goes blank. No dreaming, just stillness..

I really needed that right now, especially after I just got that bomb dropped on me. I'm still having whiplash.

For once I don't have to think about the weight of the world pressing down on my shoulders, no people that need saving, no work, just peace and silence. It's refreshing.

I just-I don't know what I'll do in the morning...when I wake up. I'll have to face these problems head on, and...I only hope I am strong enough to do it. Then there is that sinking feeling that once I have a breakthrough, I will never be the same. And there is nothing I can do or say that'll fix it.
