She had gotten, General Silver Shadow to be her husband. Now you may think oh it's not a big deal if he likes her, so what?

But, you see...General Silver was a fierce and cold hearted person. He wouldn't even blink an eye at hitting a woman. Even the emperor and empress had to give him face, because they knew that if they wanted to sit safely on their royal positions, they'd have to give in to him and his commands. You could even say that he controlled the kingdom from behind the curtains.

The general was a handsome young man, but the noble young misses of manors were afraid to get close to him. He had a long jagged scar that ran from his eyebrow down through his right eye. It was such a deep wound that it left that eye permanently blind. At least, he was unable to see the physical realm, but that of the spiritual world was as clear as day.

The reason such a general was needed was because of the impending threat from the other kingdoms. They've grown greedy and wanted to expand their power. Which also includes cross-breeding.

Mixing the genes of two magical users had never happened before, and with their recent information they had found out that the prospects that would occur if they were to accomplish such a feat would be limitless.

The battle for mixed breeds lasted for fifty years. It may seem long to you, but to cultivators it is just a spec of sand compared to their long lifespan. Three Kingdoms banded together in order to over take the magical users' kingdom, those who can harness the power of darkness, and the energies of the elements. The magic wielders' kingdoms are the two most powerful kingdoms with the most defense forces, and the strongest opposing strategies. They were also the only two kingdom's who's rulers were thoroughly against force breeding, just to gain more power. From the crazed glint in the other ruler's eyes, both of the powerful emperor's could tell that if they were to agree to engage in such an act, it would spell doom for everyone.

This is why the other powerful factions decided that if they can't convince them the easy way, then maybe they will buckle their knees under more harsher conditions. Especially if they were to lose most of their citizens due to their 'incompetence', mistaking a fish eye for a pearl. That's how the other emperor's viewed them.

During the time when the kingdoms had reached a stalemate, all of the powers retreated to review over their strategies, and decided to finally find a way to destroy each other once and for all. It was due to this that the famous general Silver Shadow had a fateful and fortune-filled encounter with Mystic Song.

Mystic Song was being chased by her enemies. She had managed to defeat them, but in return she was heavily injured. It was dark and stormy, she was running through forest trying to find a safe place to heal and recuperate. But she did not manage to make it far, before fainting due to heavy blood loss. This was how her meeting with the General started off.

He had gotten a tip from a spy planted in an enemy Kingdom, The beast tamers. They said that a hidden group of secret soldiers planted in the enchanted forest of Gold bridge village would lead an attack tonight to eliminate all of the villagers. During the night raid, the general and his crew spotted a body up ahead. He had motioned for one of the soldiers to go up and see if it was a trap. Once the soldier inspected the situation properly eliminating all negative factors he reported back to the general, telling him that it was all clear, but it seemed that there was a young girl who is currently heavily injured. And that she fainted due to blood loss.

Hearing that it was a false alarm the general relaxed his tensed shoulders a bit. Though, he was still careful as the mission still had to be carried out and they can't stop now just because of an injured cultivator.

The general told the soldier to carry her back to their campout, there was a healer stationed there in the case of any fatalities and seriously wounded soldiers.

During the stealth mission, they encountered the enemy's hideout. There were around six hundred soldiers in total. It basically made their one hundred elite force army look like no threat at all. And that was exactly what they were aiming for. The more an enemy underestimates you, the stronger it makes your counter-attack. Throwing them completely off guard. The first cry that called out was the opposing force's lookout soldier. One of their archers had shot him in the ċhėst. These archer's are not ordinary, though. Their bows are infused with their inner force. These are the martial arts archers. Just one of their shots alone can take out fifteen ordinary cultivators alone in one hit.

As the enemy camp heard the cry out of one of their soldiers, it alerted them of the danger in their midst and the battle begun. The fight that seemed unfair to the untrained eye was an easy win for General Silver Shadow. They kept ten alive, for questioning.

After the battle was over they went back to the campsite. By, then Mystic Song had already awakened but from the condition of her body she could tell that she was severely injured and it would take about a month for her body to fully heal.

The healer was very cautious with her. From his examination he could tell that she had reached a monstrous height in cultivation. And the weird part is...he can't tell what her affinity is. What power fuels inside of her?

When the General saw her she was cleaning herself in the lake nearby. Encountering that site made his ears turn red and he quickly averted his eyes elsewhere.. Of course his movements didn't go unknown to Mystic Song, but she knew it was an accident so she wasn't worried.
