" But~" I tried to protest.

" No buts Anna. Please." Alex said looking at me. I can't say no to him. I don't want him to be pressurised when he already has a lot of burden on his shoulder. I nodded my head and he left with a goodbye.

I went and sat on the bed. I don't know what to do now. I was feeling anxious. Now I can only wait for Alex to come back.

I took out my phone from my bag and called Kelly.

" Hello." I said on the phone when Kelly picked it up.

" Hii Anna. Are you fine?" Kelly asked me.

" Yeah." I said to her.

" How's everything in Country Z? Kelvin told me about the incident." Kelly said.

" The company is facing problem. Alex and Kelvin have gone to see the damage in the branch company." I said.

" Why didn't you go?" she asked me and then I remembered that I haven't told her about my pregnancy.

" Actually Kelly, I'm pregnant." I said and there was a moment of silence.

" What? When?" Kelly shouted through the phone.

" I came to know about it when I went to France." I said holding my ear in which Kelly's voice was still ringing.

" Why didn't you tell me before?" Kelly said returning to her normal volume.

" A series of things happened. I didn't get the chance to tell you. Sorry." I apologized.

" It's okay. Pay attention to your health." Kelly said and I hummed.

" I thought that I'll come to meet you today but now it seems that I have to come another day." I said. I wanted to see Kelly very much but I don't know when we will get time.

" How are you?" I asked Kelly.

" Im fine. I'm not allowed to go out. I only go to my college with 2 bodyguards always following me. I left the job in the bar." she said with a sigh. "I'm trying to find a job online which I can do staying here only."

" Hm. If I find a suitable job I'll inform you." I said to her.

" Ok." Kelly said.

" Hm. Bye Kelly." I said.

" Bye." she said and hung up the call. I put the phone on the bed and took a deep breath. I don't know what to do. I laid on the bed and tried to sleep but I couldn't fall asleep. I was worried about what is happening over there. It was already noon now. Someone knocked on the door and I got up from the bed to open it. It was the hotel's worker.

" Here is your food ma'am." he said to me.

" But I didn't order anything." I said.

" The sir who came with you gave us order to serve you lunch." he said and I nodded. I took the tray from his hands and put it on the table beside the bed.

" Thank you." I said to the waiter who bought me food. He bowed his head and walked off. I closed the door and walked where I put the food. I sat on the bed and took a bite of fries from the plate but I had no appetite now so I didn't eat any further. I stood up and started walking across the room. I kept walking for a long time until my legs were sore. I checked the timing on my phone. It was 4:30 now. I heard a knock on my door and I rushed to open it. I was happy to see that it was Alex who knocked on my door. I let him inside and closed the door.

" How was everything there?" I asked him and pour a glass of water for him.

" As expected from a bomb blast. Nothing's left." he said. I handed him the glass of water and he drank it all. He walked up to the table to put his glass back. " You didn't eat?" he said looking at the tray of food which I had left after taking one bite.

" I didn't have appetite." I said and he walked near me.

" You should have eaten Anna. How could you ignore your health?" he said a little angry. Just then the door was knocked and Alex opened it. It was kelvin.

" Cars are ready." he said and Alex nodded.

" Let's go back home." Alex said and we all went outside and sat in the car same as before - me and Alex in one and Kelvin in other. The driver started the engine to go back. I was sitting there but my eyes were tired now. My urge to sleep came back with Alex. Alex looked at me and said, "If you want to sleep then just do it."

" No. If I sleep now I won't be able to open my eyes." I said smiling tiredly. Alex put my head on his shoulder and said, " Don't worry. When. we will reach I'll wake you up." I smiled at his words.

" Ok then. Goodnight." I said and was soon asleep on his shoulder.
