Flower on the ash

I opened my eyes when sunrays fall on my face. I sit up straight and found I was on a bed but this wasn't my room. The room was well decorated with a king sized bed. I remembered what happened yesterday and how I fell asleep on Alex's shoulder. I got up from the bed and walked out of the room then I saw that the house is familiar. It's Alex's house.

" You up?" Alex voice rang in my ears from behind. I turned around to see Alex. He was wearing his home wear.

" Yeah. Why didn't you drop me to my house?" I asked him.

" You were sleeping so soundly that I didn't want to disturb your sleep." he said with a chuckle.

" What's the time?" I asked him rubbing my eyes.

" 7:30" he said and I nodded my head in acknowledgment. "I should go home now or else I will be late for office."

" Don't worry. Your boss won't fire you for getting late a day." he said.

" You don't know my boss. He is very strict." I said and we both laughed. "Ok. Bye then."

" Let me give you a ride." he said and we both went downstairs. He handed me my handbag and phone from the table on the corner wall.

" Alex. I wanted my dress which I forgot to bring back on that rainy day." I said to him when I remembered that my white shirt was still here for which I had to wear this red shirt.

" Yeah. Let me bring it." he said and walked off. I waited for him there until he came back.

" Here you go." he said and handed me a packet which contained my clothes.

" Thanks." I said smiling.

" But I like red on you more. It makes you look more beautiful." he said and looked at me up to down.

" T-Thank you." I said blushing. He held my hand and we both walked out. Alex had already changed his footwear to the outdoor one and we both sat in the car.

" The building will be renovated this year. About the finance matter it will take some time." he replied. We were sitting in the car when a notification popped up in my phone. I opened it to check.

It said, " RMG's president changed. The business tycoon has bought all the company shares."

I clicked on the notification and the whole articled opened. I started to read to myself.

" The bussiness tycoon, President of Star cooperation Mr. Alexander Wilson has bought all the company shares of the jewellery company RMG. The President of RMG is changed from Ms. Samanta Young, who was also the rumoured girlfriend of Mr.Wilson to Mr.Wilson himself. Let's see what we will find the reason behind this from Ms. Young."

I finished reading it. After the story there was a photo of Alex and the former President of RMG, Ms. Young. She was the same lady whom I met at the party in France. I looked towards Alex.

" Why did you bought the shares of RMG?" I asked him while he was still driving.

" She deserves this. I found that she was the one who poisoned you in the party." he said. I was shocked hearing this. I didn't think that he would punish them this hard who tried to poison me. Indeed her behavior with me wasn't pleasant that day but I didn't think that a influential lady from such a high background will do something this lowly.

" Why did you drink with her when I already told you not to trust anyone?" he asked with a serious expression.

" It's not like I wanted to have drinks with her. She stopped me and I thought that it won't be appropriate to reject her." I said with a guilty expression.

" You should take more care of yourself Anna. How about you move in with me?" he asked me.

" I can't. What will I say to my family? That I'm going to live with my boss." I said with a raised eyebrow.

" No. We can get married and then live together. " he said. I didn't commented on his words. Maybe I'll be okay after getting married to him.

" Anna trust me. I promise that I won't ever let any problem befall on you." he said in a soft voice.

" I believe you." I said. Of course I believe him. I don't know what changed my opinion on him this much but I do trust this guy. When we first met I used to only see him as a spoiled rich guy. But now my whole opinion has changed. Maybe I have started to like him. He is a gentle person.

Alex pulled over his car when we reached my house.

" Bye Alex." I said to him.

" Bye Anna. Meet you at office." he said and drove off.

I took out the spare key which my dad gave me yesterday and opened the door silently. My parent's room was still locked. I walked up to my room without making any noise.
