Flower on the ash

I and Aunt Zhao ate our lunch. After lunch Aunt Zhao took me to the garden to take a walk with her. The garden was full of different kinds of flowers.

" Master Alex loves flowers very much. He had planted all of these flowers." Aunt Zhao said. There were rows of different kinds of roses. Blue rose, red rose, white rose and multicolored rose.

Alex must cherish these flowers so much. After taking a stroll we were back in the villa. Aunt Zhao left to do her remaining household work and I went back to my room.

I had nothing to do so I picked up my phone and called Kelly. She answered the phone after a couple of rings.

" Hello?" I said.

" Hi Anna!" she said excitedly.

" What were you doing?" I asked her.

" Nothing. What about you?" she asked me.

" I'm also doing nothing." I replied.

" Guess what?" she asked excitedly.

" What?"

" I have found a job!!" she said.

" Congratulations! What is it?" I asked.

" Jewelry designing company. And it said that I can work from home." she said.

" Good. By the way, at which company?" I asked her.

" RMG!" she said.

" RMG? Isn't it the one which Alex's just bought?" I asked her.

" Yes. I filled a form for the job and luckily I got it." she said cheerfully.

" I'm so happy for you. I will come to visit you tomorrow." I said to her.

" Ok. I'll be waiting." she said.

" Ok. Bye." I said and hung up the call. I'm happy that she got a job. She was worried to stay in Kelvin's house and be a burden. I had nothing to do so I started to read web novels on my phone.

The sun had already set and it was getting darker now. I got up from the bed and went downstairs. Aunt Zhao was in the kitchen and Zeus was following her wherever she was going. I walked up to them.

" What are you preparing?" I asked Aunt Zhao as I entered.

"Steak with baked potato." she said, chopping vegetables.

" Let me help you." I said. She looked towards me and I made a pleading expression. I don't want to just sit around. She laughed at first, but then nodded her head.

We both prepared dinner. The aroma of the food was mouth watering.

" I'll wait for Alex." I said to her. The home telephone rang and Aunt Zhao went to pick it up. Aunt Zhao came back after a couple of minutes with worried lines formed on her forehead.

" What happened, Aunt Zhao?" I asked her.

" It was a call from my son-in-law saying that my daughter is sick and asking to see me." Aunt Zhao said.

" Then you should go to see her." I said.

" I can't leave you alone and I have to ask master before leaving. " she responded.

" Don't worry about me. I'll be fine and Alex will be arriving soon. I'll tell him why you left." I assured her.

It took me a while to convince her but at last, I succeeded. I told her that I will be okay. I don't want to let Aunt Zhao stay here because of me while her daughter is suffering. She left and I closed the door.

" What are you doing Zeus? I said to the creature who was struggling with one of the cabinets. I went up to him and opened the cabinet which Zeus was trying to open. The cabinet was filled with dog food. I looked towards Zeus, he was standing with his tongue out.

" Aww. Are you hungry?" I asked, patting his head. I pulled out a packet from the cabinet.

" Come Zeus. Let me give you your supper." I said and started to walk towards Zeus's room, he following behind me.

I pushed the door open and we both entered the room. The room was small but decorated beautifully. All the cozy kinds of stuff with piles of pillows lying neatly. I looked at Zeus. He was already standing in front of his bowl. I chuckled and made my way towards him. I bend down and gave him his food. He quickly started to munch down his food and I sat there, looking at him.

At first, when I met Zeus he looked like a dangerous wolf but as I started to spend time with him I got to know that he is a very cute dog. Because of his bad health, he easily gets tired but never misses a chance to have fun.

Zeus ate his food and started to feel sleepy. After he was done, I tuck him in his bed and covered him with his blanket. I got out of the room and closed the door lightly.

I walked downstairs and saw the time. It was half-past seven. Alex must be coming back now. To kill my time, I turned on the television and laid on the couch.
