Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 101 - There You Go, My Child

Celestia's POV:

My father had no idea that I was standing right behind him. He was looking to his side and eyed the palace guards as they brought the prisoners from the dungeon.

My feet were just two feet apart from his long golden yellow cape that he always wore around his neck. "Father….," I called out.

He got alerted, and he immediately turned back to me. Even before he could look at me, Theo hurriedly came and stood in front of me like a sheild. Why is he preventing me from seeing my father?

"Celestia," I heard my father roar in anger. "I told you not to appear in front of me. That is the only thing that I asked you to do, and as usual, you disobeyed me."

Why is my father still mad at me? I thought that he might actually break down if we happened to be in the same room. I guess that I got my hopes up for no reason.

'Why don't you listen to me, Celestia,' Theo said in my mind. He then turned his back to me and faced my father. His broad physique blocked my field of vision completely.

"Oberon," Theo shouted and shook the whole room. No one calls my father by his name. I wasn't able to see my father now, but I bet that he is furious.

"Even after you banished Celestia and threatened her so much, she still loves and respects you," Theo explained to my father. "Why do you always have to be so cold heartened? Just acknowledge her for once."

"I don't want guidance from an Incubus like you," he shouted back at Theo. "And what do you even know about love? You spent all your life mating with various women of all three realms. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough for you, and you had to get my daughter! Don't you have any shame?"

I thought that I was already hurt before, but when he insulted Theo, I became even more broken than I was before.

"Incubus is a demonic entity that mate with young maidens and kills them," Theo explained to my father. "I have not killed any of my former lady lovers! And I love Celestia more than my life. So don't you call me Incubus ever again."

"You are going to destroy my daughter soon in one way or another," my father fired back at Theo. "You can put on a charming face and enchant everyone else but not me! I have the ability to see right through you."

Father Oberon then took a step forward and glared at everyone else in the room. Finally, I was able to see him. He was just five feet away from me.

"Listen to me, Mages! I am warning you all now. You all think that Silver Shadow is your savior, but he is just the opposite of it. He is here to turn you all to the dark side."

"Father, please," I interrupted. "Please don't speak ill of Theo. He is really in love with me, and he is not here to turn anyone to the dark side. He wants to rule the Lowlands impartially."

Father Oberon flipped off his long cape behind him and took a step toward me. "Is that how he is currently manipulating you? And you believed him?"

"It is true that you do not care about the Lowlanders. That is the reason why Theo endeavored to become the king in the first place," I responded.

Theo was standing beside me, and I didn't have to look at him to know that he was mad at me. My father, on the other hand, was not frowning at me.

I noticed that his greyish-silver hair had grown so much since the last time I saw him. His hair was so long that they were touching his shoulders now. Other than that, he looked the same.

"Celestia, I just pity you now," my father said in a calming tone. "I pity you so much that you ruined your chances of becoming the Dawn and protecting your people. I pity you that you have become a slave for this Incubus over here. I pity you that you are still living in denial, and you refuse to accept the truth."

"That is enough," Theo shrieked out and clutched my hand. "If you say one more word to hurt Celestia, then I am going to call you out for combat."

"Do you think that I am scared of combating you? I am every day longing for an opportunity to eradicate you," Oberon replied.

This is getting out of hand now! I don't want them to battle with each other.

"Theo, please back off from the challenge," I held his arm and cried out.

"Tell your father to back off, Celestia!"

Theo was not at all in his normal form. The anger has taken over him completely. Once he gets furious, he does things that even he would regret later. He hurt Tangerine in the past! He might do the same to my father.

Theo was the first one to attack Father Oberon. But my father was staring at him vividly. Silver flames emitted from his hands, and they were about to hit my father.

I didn't know if my father had his sheild up or not. But my impulse made me step in front of my father, and I took all the silver flames.

"Celestia... "I heard multiple voices shout. One was definitely Theo, and the other one was surprisingly my father!

The Silver flames did not affect me at all. It was like Theo had sprinkled water on me. My body is automatically neutralizing the flames! This is incredible.

The same thing happened to Theo when I attacked him in the meadows a few days ago. My sparks don't harm him either. How is this possible?

Even though my body was unharmed, but my clothes were burning. Oh my! I tried to put off the fire with my hand. It is amazing how the Silver flames feel like ice on my skin.

I managed to put off the flames with a second, but the upper portion of my gown was burned out, and my skin was exposed a little.

I covered my body with my hands immediately. At that moment, a golden yellow cape covered my body completely. This is my father's cape!

Father Oberon wrapped me up with his cape carefully and appeared before me.. "There you go, my child," he said.
