Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Celestia's POV:

It seemed like all the Sirens from the Selene Kingdom had arrived on the battlefield. Even the young Siren girls were there. What happened to them all? 

The Mages weren't able to take their eyes off the gorgeous Siren girls who had appeared all of a sudden. Well, I can't blame them for being perverts. It is impossible to resist the charms of the Sirens! 

The Siren Queen Cynthia came to Theo immediately. This is the first time I see the Siren Queen with quite less makeup. She was wearing a very simple gown that was pale blue in color without any design. If it weren't for the blue crystal crown that was on her head, then I would have mistaken her for a normal Siren girl. 

"Theo, our Kingdom is gone," she said anxiously. 

I was the first one to gasp. But Cynthia didn't even turn to my side or even acknowledge my presence. Her eyes were fixed on Theo. I don't get why she is cold to me. 

Ivory has her reasons. She is in love with Theo, and that is why she dislikes me. But I have done nothing to Cynthia. And I don't remember offending her even in my thoughts. Still, she seems to be furious at me. What is wrong with her?

"What do you mean by our Kingdom is gone?" Theo said after a while. 

"Lilin ambushed an attack on our lands, and she was able to seize our lands!" 

"What?" Theo shouted out. " But she was supposed to attack us. Why did she ambush our kingdom?" 

"Theo, that was her strategy," Cynthia crossed him. "She made us all believe that she was going to attack the barrier, but instead, she showed up on our island with her Shadow troops. And she has gotten more vicious than she was before."

Everyone who has faced Lilin says the same thing about how she has gotten so much more powerful than before. I want to see her for myself and find out what the deal is with her. It is too bad that she didn't show up. 

"I can't believe her," Theo sighed. "Why would she conquer Selene? She must have done that just to mess with me."

I know the reason for that. Lilin wants to retrieve the Demon warriors back. That is why she has been targeting Theo. But she attacked the Highlands too! Her activities don't make any sense to me.

"My girls need a palace to stay for now. And I hope that you can provide them with everything that they need," Cynthia said to Theo. 

But Lord Arcadia was the one to reply to her request. " You don't have to worry about that, your highness. The Southern lands are big enough to accumulate all of your beautiful girls." 

I glared at Arcadia in disbelief. Is he for real? I thought he was a stone-hearted person who liked only his buildings and white marbles. But he turned out to be a pervert too?

We all got back to the white marble castle after that. Queen Cynthia and Theo never stopped conversing with each other. And I was a little hurt by the way Cynthia completely ignored me as if I didn't even exist. 

I am not looking forward to her being friendly with me. But it would be good if she at least acknowledges my existence. She can read my mind right now. She knows that I am hurt by her attitude. But still, she is so insensitive to me! 

Cynthia, Theo, and I went down to the artifacts room that was in the basement. Lord Arcadia was already waiting for us there. I remembered the last time when I was in this room and blushed a little. 

Theo and I made love right on this table. It still intrigues me that it is possible to do it in so many different ways. And Theo was really a great teacher. He taught me everything patiently. 

'Celestia, my love. Would you please think about something else? I don't want Cynthia to know those things,' Theo whispered in my mind. I was so humiliated after that. 

I wanted to run back to my room and inject myself with the Unicorn's blood so that no Siren would be able to hear me again. How can I control my thoughts all the time? It seems to be a tiring task. 

Arcadia was grinning ear to ear when he saw Queen Cynthia. I wouldn't say I liked his behavior. Even Theo was uncomfortable with him. 

"My Queen, this is one of the most elegant artifact room you will ever see in all three realms. I made sure to built every inch of this whole room with white marbles-"

"Stop it," Cynthia yelled at him and silenced him completely. " It is not the time to discuss how good your rooms are."

I smiled to myself at the response of the Queen. He deserves it! 

Cynthia then went to the bookshelves that were on either side of the room, and she began to scan all the books on them. I glimpsed at Theo, who was standing quietly beside me. 

'What is she doing, Theo? What is she searching for?' I just thought in my mind? 

'I think she knows what she is doing,' Theo replied to me telepathically. 

Cynthia then took a big old grimoire from the top shelf and placed it on the wooden table that was in the center of the room. The grimoire seemed to be very old. I doubt that it was made during the creation era itself. 

The yellow light from the fire chandelier above us was not sufficient for us to read out the lines from the pages of the dusty old grimoire. 

Theo immediately held out his hand in front of the grimoire and made a silver flame ball in his hand. Now it was readable!

The Siren Queen flipped through the pages quickly. Her fingers were turning the fragile papers of the grimoire harshly. It is an old book! She can't ruin it like this with rough handling. 

"Celestia, can you stop nagging me at least for a moment," Cynthia spoke to me for the first time. She then turned in my direction and gave me an icy cold glare. 

"It is already bad enough that you have Theo under your clutches, and you are probably going to be the reason for his doom in the future. Still, I chose to forgive you for the sake of Theo."

I got intimidated by her sudden outburst. Why is she yelling at me? 

"I am not yelling at you, Celestia. I am just telling the truth here. You are the biggest weakness of Theo! He made so many wrong choices just to please you, and he might face the consequences of his actions in the future."

"But I never told him to do-"

"Just shut up!" she screamed out. "And when you are near me, don't dare to nag me one more time again in your thoughts!"

For a moment, I was utterly bewildered.. How can she be so mean to me? I turned on my heels and fled the room immediately.
