Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Celestia's POV: 

I walked out of the room immediately after that. I don't want to face the Mean Queen one more time. 

"Celestia, don't leave," Theo said and came behind me. 

I ignored him completely and stepped into the hallway. Instead of being in the same room with the mean Queen Cynthia, it is better to go upstairs and be in a room alone. 

I became so tired when I reached the staircase. My legs defeated me completely. I sat down on the stairs and tried hard not to cry. 

Even my father has never spoken that harshly with me. But recently, he was harsh to me, but I was guilty. Why is Cynthia yelling at me for no reason? And she keeps on accusing me of controlling Theo! But I did nothing to him. 

And I love him so much, and I never do anything to harm him. But she says that I will be the reason for Theo's doom. That doesn't even make any sense. 

"Celestia," Theo called me out, and he stood in front of me. Why is he here now? I certainly have no interest in hearing his justification. 

He was very aware of how mean Cynthia was to me from the beginning. Still, he never confronted her, even for once! But now he is here to console me?

"Go away from here, Theo. I don't need any explanation from you," I yelled at him. 

Theo sighed a little, and he knelt down in front of me on the ground. "My love, please get up from there and come with me."

I got even more furious at Theo. Why is he not confronting the Ice Queen Cynthia?

"Celestia, listen to me. I will confront anyone for you. You know how many times I have fought with Ivory because of you. But I will never be able to raise my voice against Cynthia. Because I respect her!" 

"Are you seriously not going to do anything about it?" I asked him in dread. 

"I am sorry, my sweetness. Queen Cynthia is like my mother to me," Theo confessed.

"But she accused me of controlling you, and she told me that I am going to be the reason for your doom. That is a baseless accusation. And you are not going to defend me on this?" 

"Celestia! A few days ago, Cynthia saw something in her vision. She told me that you are going to turn against me in the upcoming days. And I am trying hard to stop that from happening because I won't be able to take it if you left me again. So can you please stop arguing with me about minor issues like this? We have a much bigger challenge here."

It took me a long time to process everything that he just explained to me. Chills went down my spine when I realized the actual meaning of his words. I would be turning against him?!!!! And Cynthia has seen these in her vision! 

It's no wonder why she is mean to me. Visions always come true! So it is most likely that I am going to turn against Theo. Why are the fates always tragic to me?

"Celestia, listen to me. We can change the fates according to our will if we try," Theo said. 

"No one has succeeded in that before," I breathed out heavily. 

"We are not nobody, my sweetness. You are the Dawn, and I am the Silver Shadow. Powerful entities like us can change the fates too!"

I don't believe his words. It has been ten thousand years since the creation, and still, no one was able to change the fates. A lot tried to do it, but they always failed! 

"Let me ask you something. Do you think that a half-breed kid who grew up among the Sirens can be able to rule half of the Celestial realm? Have you seen it happen before in history?"

I shook my head immediately. And I didn't like the way he called himself a half-breed. Why is he demeaning himself?

"I am a half-breed, and I am not ashamed of my lineage," Theo said. "And I am not at all destined to rule these lands. But I managed to create my own fate. Just like that, we can be able to change our fates and create our own!"

"Okay," I said and got up from the stairs. His confident words gave me immense strength. But still, I was skeptical about the whole thing. 

"How can we change the fates?" I asked him warily. 

Theo took a deep breath and said, " Cynthia told me that three people are going to be responsible for our rift in the future."

"Who are they?" I gasped in surprise. 

"Princess Lilin, Lame King Oberon and Darius. They are going to be our main challengers. And do you remember the time when I told you to stab Darius with the Saber of Venom? I instructed you to do it because if one of our challengers perishes, the whole fates change. We could have benefited from that!"

I looked away from him immediately. But Darius is my mentor and my friend. How could I have killed him?!!!

"I understand you, Celestia, and I am not blaming you for that. But it leaves us in this tense situation now. And we have to find a way to eradicate at least one of our challengers to change our destiny. "

I would not let him kill Darius and my father. No matter how hard my fates get, I don't want them to die! 

"I am not going to hurt your family, my love. I already promised you about it. So we have no other way except to eradicate Lilin. That is the only way we have got here," he explained. 

It is so unfortunate that Lilin has suddenly gained these many powers. That will make us a lot harder for us to eradicate her! 

"But why didn't you try to kill Lilin back when she was weak?" I raised a question.

He sighed again and clutched the railing of the staircase. " I didn't kill her for the same reason why you didn't stab Darius. Lilin was my mentor, just like Darius was yours. But now, I am obligated to kill her. Sadly, I have no other way than this."

I felt sorry for him. But I was also a little jealous. Does he still like her? Theo shuddered as he read my mind. 

"My sweetness, I have got my eyes only for you, and you know that. Can you now come back there so that we can scheme out a way in which we can eradicate Lilin?"
