Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Celestia's POV:

I waited outside in the garden for my father's arrival. I wasn't able to resist my enthusiasm. My father is arriving here to support me! He acknowledged me as his daughter now. 

I dreamt of this movement for so long, and it is finally going to come true! I knew that Father Oberon wouldn't be able to stay furious at me for a long time. 

A golden yellow portal opened in the garden exactly when it was the time of the sunset. I was overjoyed when Darius and my father got out of the portal.

Darius came running to me and tried to hug me. But he flew ten feet away from me and landed on the bushes. My father was stunned as he eyed Darius, who was now struggling to get back to his feet. 

I instantly got guilty as I didn't warn him before he came to embrace me. Honestly, I forgot that no man could ever touch me except Theo. 

Darius got up from the ground and raised his hands. "I am fine! I was just forgetful," he mumbled to us and dusted off the leaves and mud from his robe 

Father Oberon got serious after that. I expected him to say something terrible about Theo, but he was gazing at Darius grimly. 

I moved closer to Darius and said, "I am sorry for not warning you. It is my mistake."

"It is okay, Celestia. You don't have to apologize to me because it is not your fault. We all know who is the reason for this."

I understood that he was blaming Theo without mentioning his name. I sighed to myself and looked up at my father. 

"I am so happy that you chose to forgive me, Father. This means a lot to me," I said to him.

He beamed at my words and said," Celestia, as Darius said, it is not your fault. So I can't stay mad at you for something that you did under the temptations."

Does he still think that Theo tempted me? I didn't argue with him on that subject. He is pleasant to me now. I don't want to ruin this!

I took them both to the chamber of Lord Magnus. He wasn't aware of my father's arrival as I forgot to inform anyone else about it. So when he laid his eyes on my father, he freaked out. 

He bowed hastily and said,'' Your majesty! Welcome to our lands."

Father Oberon nodded and acknowledged his salutations. Lord Magnus is not very fond of my father. He has so many times criticized him as a partial King. 

Now that my father was standing in front of Magnus, he wasn't able to restrain himself from bowing to him. His gesture was not out of respect. It is out of fear! 

So it is true what they say about Father Oberon. Even the enemies and haters of the mighty King Oberon bow down to him out of fear. Theo is the only exception in this case. No one else taunts my father to his face as he does.

"May I…. May… I know the reason for your arrival?" Magnus questioned my father while he was shaking a little. 

"I am here to aid my daughter," he snapped at Magnus and then looked at me. "I am ready to extend my support to your lands if you all are willing to accept it."

Magnus was startled by his revelation. I was having a hard time believing what my father had just said. Father Oberon never visited the Mage Lands very often. Even when he was here, never once had he openly declared to the Mages that he would support them. 

Oberon then turned to me and said," At least now we have to put aside our differences and join hands together. Or else we all can't stop the impending danger that is about to arrive."

"Are you talking about the Demon princess Lilin? But Silver Shadow is on a quest to end her," I said to my father. 

He shook his head and said, "That is not the truth, my child. The truth is that Silver Shadow has gone to the Shadow realm to reunite with his former Lady love Lilin."

"What?!!!" I shouted out. "Father, why would you even say such a thing? Silver Shadow wants to destroy Lilin! He doesn't want to reunite with her."

My father didn't respond to me, but he was giving me a pity glare. Darius stepped forward and stared down at me. "Celestia, at least now try to understand the truth! Silver Shadow used you for this long, tricked you in the name of love, and conquered these lands. Now he is reunited with his former lady love because she has got more powers. With her assistance, he is going to battle our father and defeat him!"

"No…." I shouted out loud and scared Darius so much that he took a step back from me. "You two are tricking me! If Theo wanted to conquer the Highlands, then he would have done that a long time ago. But he didn't attack your lands because of me! He promised me that he would never invade the Highlands."

Darius chuckled a little and said, "You know that he is a trickster. And you believe the promises made by him?" 

I finally understood why they were here. Since Theo is not here, they are bad-mouthing to me about him so that I would turn against him. 

I stared directly at my father's deep blue eyes and said, "I know that Darius is capable of doing such things. But I didn't expect this from you, father! I thought that you were here to support me. But you are here to separate me from my man by saying fibs about him?"

Father Oberon didn't argue back with me. Instead, he answered back to me in a calming tone. "Celestia, do you still think that I will lie to you? I am your well-wisher!"

"No," I shook my head and screamed out. "I don't think that you want me to be happy! That is why you are constantly speaking ill about Theo."
