Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 121 - You Are Not Banished Anymore

Celestia's POV:

I stormed out of the Mage Lord's chamber as I didn't want to break down in front of him. How could they be so cruel to me? I am already distressed that Theo left me without even saying goodbye to me.

My father and Darius came here just to speak ill of Theo? And how could they speak like that in front of Lord Magnus? He was already worried about the well-being of his people.

He considers Theo as the savior of Mages. Now Magnus must be freaking out after hearing my father's insensitive allegations on Theo.

Why does my father have no regard for other people's faith? Maybe Theo was right about him. He told me that Father Oberon doesn't care about me at all. What happened just now proves that my father really doesn't care about me!

"Celestia," my father called me out. Did he follow me here? Why can't he leave me alone? "I need to say something to you."

I turned angrily to his side. It is good that at least Darius didn't follow me here. "I don't want to hear anything that you say," I confided.

"Celestia, I don't get why you do not trust me! Do you know? When you were an infant, I was the first one to lift you. You were so tiny, beautiful, and you were just slightly longer than the length of my forearm."

Why is he saying all these to me now? And I was only a little longer than his forearm? Was I that much smaller?

"I was the one who fed you the vial of Angel's blood. I took you to my castle and raised you like my daughter. I have been cherishing you ever since you were little. Now tell me, Celestia! Why would I want to lie to my loving daughter?"

Finally, I broke down. I can't resist my feelings anymore! Tears welled up in my eyes and rolled down my cheeks. "Father, I am sorry for lashing out at you. I do trust you, but I get hurt whenever you offend Theo!"

"My child, stop crying now," he said and stroked my head. My tears fell right on his shoes, and they got turned into white pearls.

"I came here to support you, but instead, I made you upset. I am sorry, my child. And I have decided not to criticize your man anymore. When the right time comes, you will see the truth for yourself! I am sure that the time is going to come very soon."

"Father," I controlled my sobbing and began to speak. "You have to trust me too!"

"I do trust you, my child. I trust you more than my life. My hostility is with him, and you are in no way involved in this."

If he is hostile with Theo, then it is equal to being hostile to me. Theo and I are one! But I didn't want to argue with him about it anymore. As he said, time will tell the truth. I should wait for that time.

Darius was watching us both with teary eyes. It was strange to see that even he is capable of showing emotions! He then moved closer to me and said, "Celestia! I still don't get why our father is able to touch you, but I can't."

Darius is right. Father Oberon was able to pat my head without getting repelled away. Now that I think about it, I remember him touching my shoulder the other day in the Southern Lord's castle garden.

Why didn't I notice this before? And how is this possible? My father is also a man, but he can touch me!

The vein on my father's forehead twitched as he gazed at Darius viciously. "Darius," he shouted out. "How can you even ask such a ridiculous question? No spells and enchantments work on me! I have complete resistance against all of them."

For the past few months, I adored Theo's abilities so much that I forgot my father is powerful too. He can control the weather and all the five elements, which Theo can't do.

Darius nodded and apologized to my father. Something seemed to be strange with Darius today. He usually wears grey robes, but the one he was wearing now seemed to be of the darker shades of grey.

It almost looked black to me! This is odd because Darius never wears black. My father, on the other hand, was wearing his usual golden yellow armor suit.

Father Oberon fixed his eyes back on me and said," Celestia, it is going to be midnight soon, and it is time for me to leave now. Before that, I need to make a final request to you. Even if you don't accept it, it is fine by me."

"What is it, father? Please tell me the word! I would do anything to fulfill your wishes," I declared.

He smiled a little and said, "The Highland Faes are missing you so much. They all will be pleased if you come back to the mountains and bless them with your presence."

For an instant, I thought that I was dreaming. This can't be happening for real. He wants me back in his lands?!!!

"So I am not….. I am not….. banished anymore?" I asked him with very much difficulty as I was overpowered by excitement.

"No, my child. You are welcomed in the mountains again! I made a mistake by banishing you in the past. Silver Shadow took that as an advantage, and he got a complete hold on you. So I have decided not to punish you for the mistakes that you didn't make!"

"Thank you so much for acknowledging me, father," I bowed down to him. "I will be honored to come back to my birth land again. I can't wait to meet all my friends and my people."

A miracle has happened today! I never thought that I would get an opportunity to go back to my land. But finally, it is happening! I have faith that one day my father will realize his mistake and acknowledge Theo...
