Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 227 - Key Of Infinity.

Aaron's POV:

Lyra didn't seem to be very happy that we were back in her cottage. I was not a big fan of this situation either. Still, she invited us, four boys, inside her place.

My heart stopped beating in horror every time I stared at her piercing emerald green eyes. But when I lowered my gaze down on her body, my senses got elated to no extent.

She was in her lingerie that revealed her titillating structure. I bet that my skin had gotten a shade paler just by staring at her; I miss sex! And I miss Lilin even more than that.

Her twin sister Leah came running to Anakin, and she started to smack his lips. My Incubus boys began to clap and cheer for them both.

"Seriously, you both get a room," one of my boys mocked them.

The only problem with us Incubus is that we get easily distracted from our pursuits. I ignored them entirely and fixed my gaze again on Lyra.

"Since you can read my mind, I believe that you already know why I am here—"

She smirked and replied, "Yes, I do; I was anticipating your arrival here."

Then she waved her finger—as if indicating to follow her. I turned to see if my boys were following me, but they all were utterly distracted by Leah and Anakin, who had their tongues on each other's mouths. I just hope that Leah doesn't bite my brother!

Lyra took me to a room in her cottage. The room was so dark as there were no windows in it. There was some kind of strange aroma in the room—which I wasn't able to comprehend.

I am not going to lie; I was a little scared being here with the venomous Serpent girl. The rumor says that Lyra is so much more venomous than an average Serpent girl—that any man who has intercourse with her will perish. I wonder how many men have died in this very room.

Lyra opened a wooden chest that was on the corner of the room. The room was utterly dark until she opened the chest. My eyes almost got blind by the light that was reflecting from the chest.

Slowly, I trained my eyes to get used to the blinding light. Then I was able to see everything that was in the room clearly. The walls of the room had drawings of the serpents in them.

There were all kinds of serpents on the wall. I don't know clearly about the races of the serpents, but I believe that the serpents that were on the wall were of the most poisonous kind—as those snakes had red color scales on them.

There were strange artifacts all over the room. Some looked like old vases, and some were like wooden dolls that were made up of clay—but the artifacts inside the treasure chest were the ones that were blinding my eyes.

The chest was filled with gold and diamond crystals. Then it hit me that stealing is a hobby for the Serpents. They are attracted to steal shiny things like this.

Lyra searched through her chest for a while. Most of the artifacts in it were just gold and crystals. She dug her hand deeper into the chest and pulled out something that looked like a piece of wood.

I blinked my eyes, and the piece of wood resembled like a key to me. She then came to me and handed over the key to me.

"This key is what you want to get in the Celestial Realm," she said.

I was confused. How should I use this key? Where should I insert this? I was embarrassed to ask about it to Lyra—so I tried hard to figure it out by myself.

Miranda told me that an invisible barrier prevents outsiders from entering the realm. So is this key to be used on that invisible barrier?!

"You are so stupid," Lyra frowned and said. "I know that you are an idiot—but I am marveled by the lack of your intelligence."

Perhaps I should have asked her about it instead of trying to assume about it in my head.

"Seriously, how can you live with yourself without knowing anything about the key of the infinity?"

"Key of infinity?!" I blurted. "This is the first time I hear about it—"

She grunted and gave me a nasty look. But it is so unfair to blame me for this. I spent my entire life partying—and that is the life of an Incubus. We never touch any weapons, nor do we care about the happenings of the outer realm.

This is what I was taught to do by my father. I never realized that I would get mocked for my true nature by others. This is depressing!

"Enough justifying yourself in your head," Lyra grunted. "Now, if you need to know what is this key, then follow my lead—"

She said and stepped to the exit of the door. Before she was about to leave the room, she turned to me and said, "You don't have to worry that you are an idiot. Because your boys are even more an idiot than you are—"

Now she is mocking my friends?! She seriously needs to stop this. But when I got out of the room and saw my boys, I changed my mind about it.

Anakin and Lyra were now doing it on the couch. At least this time, my brother had the decency to do it under a blanket with her. My boys were encouraging my brother to go deeper.

I have walked in on my brother doing it countless times. But today, I was so disgusted by his behavior.

Lyra smirked at me and said, "I was right! Your boys are more dim-witted than you—"

This is the most embarrassing day of my life! I wonder how my boys are going to do the quest. What if they get distracted on their way and fail the quest?!

I must give them a long list of instructions before they get into the realm of light.
