Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Aaron's POV: 

It was the middle of the day in the Ashlands. It means that it is the middle of the night in the Celestial realm. This is the perfect time for my Incubus boys to sneak in there. 

All my four boys assembled near the banks of the waterfalls. They all seemed very pale today. My brother Anakin looked the palest among them. 

If an Incubus doesn't have regular intercourse, then their skin tends to get paler. My boys must not have had sex, at least for the past two days! That is why they are pale. Perhaps they are preparing for the big meal. 

"So boys, are you all ready to leave?"

"Yes," they all replied in unison. 

Anakin let out a sigh and said, "Brother, please declare that I will go first on the Dawn. I am so much starving here—"

"No, I am starving too," said one of my boys. "I should get the luxury of going first."

Soon there was a quarrel among my boys. They all were giving out complicated reasons to me on why they should go first. And the worst part was that they were asking me to make a decision.

I quietly watched them fight for a while. I wonder how they are going to complete the task if they keep on fighting among themselves. At that moment, my ex-lover Miranda came to the scene while she was carrying a basket full of flowers in her hand.

As she got closer to me, the fragrance of the hex flowers swept me off my feet. These grey-colored flowers have the best scent in all three realms. 

The Succubus girls use these flowers to make perfume from it. And when a Succubus girl uses this fragrance, she gets the power to seduce any man in all three realms. 

This is like the love potion for the Succubus girls. I myself have been a victim of these scented flowers. Two girls used this scent and approached me—and I immediately got attracted to those girls. 

"As the Prince of the Ashland, I command you never to use that floral potion on me—"

"This is not for you," she grunted. "I am trying to seduce a Demonic warrior. So far, he has rejected me as he thinks that it is unfair to have sex with another woman when you already have a lover."

"Whoa! He seems like a lame guy to me," I said. "Trust me, Miranda; you can do better than him…."

"I know about that. But you how we girls feel about unrequited love. It increases our desire and hunger so much that we start to crave for them—"

I exactly know how that feels. Ever since Lilin dumped me, my craving for her got so much instigated that I am willing to do anything to win her back.

Miranda glared at the quarreling boys oddly. I was a little stunned that they were still discussing the same issue. They should have ended the discussion at least by now. 

She frowned at me and said, "What the hell is going on here?"

"Well, my boys are fighting over who gets to ride the Dawn first."

She rolled the whites of her eyes wide. "Are you talking about Golden Dawn, the adopted daughter of Oberon—Celestia?"

"Yeah, it's her," I responded. 

She shook her head and replied. "You must be kidding! Trust me, a lot of the Shadow creatures, especially Incubuses, have tried to get in the light realm because of her, but they failed in that—"

I blinked. "But why?"

"Are you seriously unaware that no Shadow creature can enter the Celestial realm? The Fae King Oberon has surrounded his realm with an invisible barrier that prevents all the Shadow creatures from getting in there—"

This seems new to me. I was too ignorant to know these things. My boys, who were quarreling before, fell silent after they heard what Miranda said. 

Anakin seemed to be more disappointed than the others. "What are you saying? We can't get in the realm?! But I am already starving—"

Miranda started giggling. "You boys have no brain… still; you all are adorable."

She is not the first woman to say that to us. A lot of them, including Lilin, have labeled us as adorable creatures. But I want to be more than that!

That is why I am trying to destroy the Dawn so that everyone would see me as something valuable. Unfortunately, I am facing an obstacle in achieving my goals. 

"And by the way, who even gave you the idea of targeting the Dawn? I don't think that you boys could have come up with something like this on your own."

How did she even find out that this is not my idea? Miranda always had the power to find out what was going on in others life. She is a lurker! 

"Lyra gave me the idea," I confessed to her.

"I guessed it right," she mocked and punched my arm slightly. "Maybe you should ask the assassin Lyra again. She will definitely have a solution for this."

I shuddered slightly when I thought about the scenario of meeting the venomous serpent girl again. 

"Is there a way to do this without her help?" I blurted to her.

"I don't think so! You know, Lyra can get into the Celestial realm effortlessly, unlike others."

"Lyra can get into the Celestial realm?! But how?"

"I don't know! You should probably ask her about this. And I need to leave now; I have a perfume to make and a warrior to impress. Wish me luck—"

I don't know why she wants my wishes. No man has ever escaped from the traps of Miranda before. There are rumors that she has once spent the night with the Fae Prince Darius—which I think is true. 

"I wish you that your Demon warrior will stick his weapon inside you and train you all night—"

She smiled a little and left the spot. Now I have to face the Serpent girl again!
