Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Edwin didn't know how Silver Shadow was so confident in defeating Oberon. He tried explaining to him that Oberon is a Shadow Lord now and that he can't be defeated easily. Still, he was reluctant to understand the situation. So Edwin decided to convince Celestia instead.

"Celestia…. Your father is not the same old righteous King. You need to understand that he is evil…"

"I know everything about him! And please don't call him my father again. Cause he is not!"

Edwin was shocked. "What? He is not your father?" 

"Yeah, that is a long tale. I'll tell you everything about it now…."

That was the last string and Theo wasn't able to control his jealousy anymore. He immediately got up from his seat and walked towards the exit of the chamber. Celestia got confused. 

"Theo, where are you going?" she asked him. 

"Well, you two will have a good time alone. Why do you even bother about me?" He shouted and walked out of the chamber leaving Celestia heartbroken. 

She couldn't understand why he was a big baby. Is she supposed to not speak with anyone at all except him?! Sometimes she felt annoyed by his attitude. 

"That jerk," she cursed him in mortal tongue and turned to Edwin. "Please don't mind him! You know how crazy he is—"

"He is crazy for you Celestia," he smiled at me and said. "He is so crazy for you that he is not even willing to let you speak with another man."

"I get it, Edwin! But you need to understand that this is getting a little overwhelming now. And ever since you got here, he has been insulting you just because you are my friend. I don't like his attitude—"

Edwin realized that it was time to confess his true feelings to him. He knew that she wouldn't accept him—but he felt guilty for hiding this truth from her for so long. It was time for him to come clean to her. 

"Celestia! Silver Shadow had his reasons for hating me. And whatever he told you about me is true. I do love you more than just a friend. I have many times visualized us both living together in my head. And that is why your lover hates me."

Celestia was startled by the revelation. She never expected this from him. The Siren Queen had already told this to her but she refused to believe her. She even thought that Theo was lying to her and that he was jealous of her for no reason. Now she understood how naive she was. She bluntly thought that Edwin would never desire her. Perhaps she was wrong about men. All the men are the same!

She got up from her seat and said, "I think that we are done talking here."

She was about to leave but Edwin ran in front of her and said, "Celestia! Please listen to me. I don't want our friendship to get ruined over this and that is why I came clean to you. I understand that Theo deserves you more than I do. And I want us to remain friends."

Celestia didn't know how to react. She was hurt that he hid this from her. Yet, she didn't want to lose him as her friend. But she very well knew that it is not easy for a man and woman to be friends when one of them starts to have feelings for the other. Just when she was standing still helplessly, Cynthia got in the chamber after finishing her daily prayers. 

"So how is the discussion going on," she said and looked around the chamber only to find Edwin and Celestia staring at each other. She immediately went into Celestia's mind and saw the events that happened before she got here. She could get in Edwin's mind too, but Celestia's mental shield is the weakest one. Even a young Siren girl could get in her mind and read her thoughts. But she got curious to know what Edwin was feeling now so she scanned his thoughts too. Once was done she decided to do something to clear the tension between them. 

"Celestia," the Siren Queen said and turned her attention towards her. "You need to cut some slack for this man. He almost risked his life for your sake."

"What?" she gasped and turned to Cynthia. Then she explained everything that Edwin did in the Serpent land. Celestia got extremely furious at Edwin and she gave him a slap on his face. 

"How dare you put your life at risk?" she yelled at him. "Do you think that I will be happy after knowing that you gave up your life for me?"

"But Celestia, you did the same to all of us. You gave up your life for us."

"It is not the same for you and me! I am the Dawn and it is my responsibility to save others. You don't have to follow my pathway. If I ever see you doing something like this ever again, I myself will destroy you. Do you understand?"

"Yes," Edwin swallowed in fear.

Celestia's POV: 

I ran towards Theo's room hoping to console him. And there was my big baby. He was standing before the window. I ran to him and hugged him from backward. 

"Theo, I am sorry for not believing you. I understand why you are jealous, but you don't have to be! I am in love with you and you know that I can't love anyone other than you."

Theo seemed to soften up a little. He turned back to me and put his arms around me. He pressed my body towards him until my head rested on his chest. We both stayed in that position for a while without saying anything. After a while, fear crept into my heart when I thought about Oberon and all the new powers he got. 

"Theo, are you sure that we can defeat him?"

"Yes," he replied and patted my hair. "When you and I are together, we can do anything!"

I immediately pulled away from him and looked up at his green eyes. "But I don't think that I will be of much use. I don't have my powers now!"

"Celestia! You will get them back," he said confidentially. 

"But how?" I argued with him. 

"Well, you would have to get it from me! Once you satiate and please me, I will offer it to you—"

I was confused. What is he saying? And what does he mean that I should satiate him?! 

"Are you talking about sex?" 

"Yeah, you got it right," he smirked. 

My face almost reddened when I realized that he was joking. Then I gave him a slap on his face and shouted, "You jerk! All of our lives are in threat and instead of doing something about it you say that you want to have sex with me?!"
