Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

The Highland Faes who were gathered in the chapel were saddened as they continued to hear the tale of their New King. Many of them even started to feel guilty for even doubting him in the first place. 

"Even when I was at the lowest point of my sanity and strength, a part of me always told me that I should rescue you people. And I didn't give up on my goal even though I had just lost the love of my life. I fought with the Nephilim clan, won all the deadly tasks that were given to me. There were two hundred others like me in abyss or torment, but I was the only survivor! After gaining the powers of Anti-Angel, I came out of the abyss only to realize that a thousand years had gone by! Countless numbers of people had already died and Faes were divided into five houses which led them to fight among themselves. The situation was getting worse. It was only a matter of time before the force of light got diminished again. "

Theo paused and let out a sigh. "Even at that time, no one believed me. People started to hate me even more as I had the power of the Anti-Angel. But I got that power for your sake! I wanted to help you all!"

Celestia who was listening to him felt guilty as she was the one the people who hated him and didn't believe in him. Again she reminded herself that it wasn't her fault. Oberon had manipulated them all!

"Even though everyone hated me, I was so keen on rescuing you all. I searched for ways in which I could kill Oberon and I was shocked when I found that I would lose in my life too if Oberon had to die. Still, I was more than willing to offer my life for the sake of my people. But luckily, I woke up from the dead and now I am standing in front of you all! Even now I heard that some of you don't approve of me. I am not going to lie, I am hurt to hear that! But still, I would never stop helping you people—"

"Just now I got crowned as your King and I took an oath that I will protect you all! I will stick to my oath and continue to serve you all. If any evil forces emerge and try to attack my people, I will be the first one to battle the evil. I would not let any one of you lose your lives. And if it is necessary for me to sacrifice my life once again, I will not hesitate to do so, because I love you all even if you love me back or not—"

Then everyone in the chapel got up from their pew and started clapping their hands together to applaud Theo. Celestia cheered for Theo, but she also teared up a little. Then the Wisdom Fae Lord Ethan got up from his seat and came near the stage. He was the one who wanted to rebel against Theo. Now he knelt before Theo and bowed his head before him. 

"Your highness, please forgive me for my actions. Even though I am a Wisdom Fae, I lacked the intelligence to sense your greatness," he started to weep like a child. "You continued to help us even though we were against you. You loved us even when we all didn't love you back. Only God can love others eternally as you do! Only God loves the people who have wronged them! And only God can come back from the dead and continue to love and help the people who are unworthy of eternal love!"

Then the Wisdom Fae got up from the floor and turned to the people who were seated in the pew. "Listen, everyone," he shouted and pointed a finger at Theo. "This man is not just our King! He is also our God! We are so lucky to have a God as our King! Our realm is going to become peaceful like the paradise from now on—"

Theo's heart melted by hearing the words of the Wisdom Fae. He never expected to be applauded this much by his people. He was their God now! All this appreciation felt strange to him as he was always used to people being mean to him. He thought that it would take him a while to get used to this new change.

Celestia's POV: 

A month had passed since Theo became the King of the Celestial realm. Not a single soul rebelled against him after the coronation day. Now everyone treated Theo like a God and he successfully joined my club of 'Getting treated by people like a God'.

Then after a week of his coronation, I was crowned as the Queen of the Celestial realm too. Even though I am the Queen, I don't feel any burden on my shoulders. Theo always does most of the work. He attends the court meetings and he maintains everything in the realm. And I couldn't thank him enough for that as I hated court meetings so much. Instead, I was mastering my battling skills with my warrior friends Edwin and Ember. Now I resumed my old job of teaching the younglings to fight. 

Finally, there was eternal peace in the Celestial realm. Not just the Celestial realm, even the Shadow realm was in peace. Nobody was conspiring against others anymore. But a part of me believes that this is too good to be true. Two days ago I even dreamt of a new evil awakening in the lands that started to disrupt the peace in the realms. 

I got scared to my bones after the nightmare and Theo had comforted me that we can overcome anything as long as we are together. But I got extremely angry that we are always getting obstacles to face. After a while, I realized that obstacles are always a part of life.

What matters the most is to have the people we love around us who would help us in overcoming the obstacles. I should thank Holy Aiden every day for giving me a man who loves me to death! 

"Are you done praying?" I heard a baritone voice ask me while I was staring at the sea before me.

"Theo," I smiled and wrapped my arms around him. "You are my God, Theo! Perhaps I should pray to you daily—"

Theo kissed my forehead and said, "You are also my Goddess, Celestia! Maybe we both can pray together for each other—"

"You trickster, I love you so much," I said before our lips got entwined.
