Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Celestia's POV: 

I don't know how many goblets of firewater Theo has drunk so far. He was trying so hard to stand on his feet. At least he didn't fall unconscious like the rest of them. 

Perhaps Theo has resistance against the enhancing potion. His powers are erratic! But still, he wasn't in his right mind. He held my hand and pulled me closer towards him by force. 

I didn't expect that gesture from him. I put my arms around Theo's broad shoulder and stumbled for balance. 

"Theo, you have to listen to me," I cried out. "Marilyn is scheming something against the Valley. She is allied with the Vampires, and she is the reason for all the chaos here. And she mixed the enhancing potion in the drink and made everyone here unconscious. Fortunately, you are still awake!"

Theo just laughed at my words. He didn't take me seriously at all. Well, he is not sane! What more can I expect from him? But he has to get normal for the sake of the Holy Aiden! 

Theo then pinned me to the wall and frowned at me angrily. His eyes lacked the usual compassion or love he had for me. 

"Celestia, you made a huge mistake by spilling down the last goblet of firewater," he yelled at me. "I was enjoying the last cup, and you robbed me out of that joy. Now get ready to be punished."

"Theo, that drink is not good for you! The happiness it gives you is an illusion. Are you seriously going to punish me for saving you from going insane?" I screamed when he tried to undress me. 

Theo bent down and pecked my neck first. "You are making that up just to get away with the punishment, aren't you?"

"Theo, I am serious. Would you please go and look outside? All the mage warriors are unconscious. The Vampires are going to take over this Valley soon. People need our help….."

After that, he pressed his lips on mine and made me stop talking. His kiss numbed my mind and body completely. I almost forgot that we were all in grave danger. 

He tasted sweet and sour, just like the firewater he was drinking. For a minute, I enjoyed the bliss. Nothing else mattered to me anymore! They say that ignorance is bliss for nothing. 

A little while later, he parted his lips from me and said," You look so cute when you lie." 

Finally, I came back to my senses. "Theo, we all are in danger. Please listen to....."

Again he silenced me with another kiss. What am I going to do now? Theo doesn't listen to me, even when he was in his right mind! Now he is entirely out of control like a wild beast. 

I tried to push him away from me, but he was so much stronger than me. He squeezed me tightly with his sturdy arms and didn't let me move. I wasn't able to do anything when he nibbled and sucked the pulse out of my neck. 

His one hand slowly began to caress down my neck, and he got hold of my breast. Usually, his touch gave me solace, but today it didn't. I groaned a little when he squeezed my nipple.

After that, Theo took his hand from my chest and wrapped his arm around my torso. He wasn't kissing me anymore. He rested his head on my chest, and his eyes were closed. 

I blinked at him for a while. Did he fall asleep? 

"Theo," I called out. 

But Theo did not respond. He dozed off on my chest! Then eventually, he collapsed on the ground. "Theo…" I cried out and knelt on the floor beside him. 

"Theo, please wake up. You can't let me down like this. I need your help in talking down the Vampires," I mumbled anxiously. But still, there was no reaction from his side. 

His eyes were closed, and it seemed like he was sleeping peacefully. This can't be happening! If he has fallen, then who is going to fight against the Vampires? 

My powers are probably still low! I don't stand a chance against them. I took a glass of water from the table and sprinkled it a little on his face. But still, Theo didn't move a muscle. 

Why did he have to drink that toxic firewater? I should have stopped him! But how could I have possibly known that Marilyn has mixed the enhancing potion in it?!!!

Now it's upon me to save these people. My powers are low, so I can't rely on them anymore. Or maybe I could use weapons like the Mages. 

Then it flashed me! I should use the Icebreaker. That weapon is more than enough to scare off the Vampires. But where is that weapon now? Theo must have it in his sheath. 

I clutched his sheath, which was attached to the backside of his robe, and snatched the weapon from it. But it was just his regular silver dagger. He didn't have the Icebreaker in his sheath. 

If it is not with him, then where is it? I pecked Theo's cheek gently and got up from the ground. Maybe the Icebreaker is in this room somewhere. 

I immediately began to look for the Vampire killer weapon. I surveyed the whole room, but still, I got nothing. This is impossible! Theo had the weapon with him yesterday. Where could it have gone? 

I sat down on the edge of the bed and tried hard to think clearly. Without the Icebreaker, it is impossible to scare the Vampires. So the only option I have is to fight them face to face, even if it means that my energies get drained again. 

That is what a good warrior will do! A good warrior will fight until she has the last ounce of strength in her body. And that is what I am going to do tonight.

I took Theo's silver dagger in my hand and stared at the blade.. This might not be the Icebreaker. But this is all I got, and I am going to battle my opponents with this blade!
