Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 68 - A Demonic Entity Has Possessed Her

Celestia's POV:

I gripped the knife in my hand and went out of the cottage. There was no sign of a conscious being around me. I stepped on the ground and looked around. What are the Vampires going to do now?

I will get my answer soon! For now, I need more weapons to save myself from the impending danger. The Mage warriors who were lying on the ground had so many good weapons in their sheaths.

But it felt strange to take weapons from strangers. Or maybe I can use Ember's weapon. She has a nice sword that was made in the Highlands.

I went to Ember, who was lying next to the Cauldron of firewater. The cauldron was empty now. It is no wonder why everyone lost their consciousness.

If Ember ever woke up and got sober, she would regret this whole thing. I carefully took out her sword. This will do! I have two weapons now.

And in the past, I have trained my Fae warriors on how to use these weapons. So this should be easy for me.

"How is she still awake?" asked a cold voice from behind me.

They are here! I got up from the ground and turned to them. I expected only Marilyn and Alaric to be here. But the whole Vampire clan was here. It is like the battle never ended at all.

All this celebration was for nothing. This is all a trap! And we all fell for it. I wonder how Theo fell for it! He is a trickster. He is always the one who tricks others. But today, this little mage girl Marilyn tricked a trickster? It was hard to believe.

Marilyn stepped closer to me and screamed, "How the hell are you still awake?"

I got so mad at her. "You should be ashamed of yourself," I yelled at her. "You betrayed your people, and worst of all, you betrayed your own father for these blood-thirsty creatures?"

Marilyn began to laugh as I said that. She is such a shameless girl! She doesn't even feel a bit guilty about this whole thing. And she has the nerve to laugh at my comments.

"You are a hypocrite," Marilyn finally said after she stopped laughing.

"I am sorry, I am a what?" I asked her.

"You are the biggest hypocrite in all three realms," Marilyn asserted. "Because you betrayed King Oberon and ran away with the trickster Silver Shadow. You betrayed your people!"

She was not wrong. I did all those things, but our situations are different. She can't compare herself to me.

"Even now, I am protecting my people," I blurted out. "I did all those things for love, but you are doing this to cause mayhem."

A smirk formed and disappeared on her lips before she spoke again. "You broke your vow and gave away your maidenhood to a man. At least I didn't do any such sin! I don't know why people even still worship you."

"Marilyn," I cried out. "Silver Shadow and I are destined to be together for eternity. The bond we both share is pure, and the fates brought us together for a greater purpose. You can't speak ill of me anymore."

"You expect me to believe that?" Marilyn fired at me. "You were just attracted to his handsomeness, didn't you? You weren't able to keep it together and-"

Even before she could finish saying that, I slapped her hard on her face. She totally deserves it! She got furious by the way I assaulted her. She immediately took out an arrow from her quiver and tried to stab me with it.

Since she was physically weaker than me, I was able to subdue her. I snatched away the arrow from her and dropped it on the ground. Then I aimed the silver dagger at her throat.

I wanted to slice that pale throat! However, I didn't get to fulfill my wish. The Vampires began to charge at me. Alaric was the first one to strike me.

He tried to scratch my neck with his long claws, but with my silver blade, I cut off his long nails alone. The blood from his slashed claw dripped on my clothes.

Alaric let out a horrendous scream. He certainly didn't expect this from me. This had happened a lot of times with my opponents back when I was a Fae warrior.

People underestimate me and think that I can never hurt others as I am a creature of kindness and protection. But if anyone tries to harm my people and speaks ill of me, then I won't hesitate to stab anyone!

Soon the other Vampires began to attack me. It got a little challenging as I was obligated to battle ten of them. Ember's sword helped me a lot in this.

I struck the bloodthirsty creatures with the bronze blade. The worst thing about this is that the Vampires tend to heal their wounds entirely within a few minutes.

Alaric's claw hands were lacking two long nails before. But now it has grown back again! This is absurd! If I kept fighting them with weapons, I could never win. I should use my powers now.

But using my powers gives me scary visions, and I get drained of energy eventually. I might as well surrender to these bloodthirsty creatures instead of using my powers!

One of the female Vampires was giving me a tough time. She dodged every one of my attacks, and she managed to snatch away the bronze sword from my hand.

She is a good fighter! Now all I had in my hand was Theo's silver dagger. One weapon is not enough! I am already a single person who is fighting a battle against ten opponents.

Suddenly, I felt excruciating pain when someone stabbed me from the back. I looked down at my stomach. It was an ash wood arrow!

Marilyn stabbed me from the back! "This is against the rules of war. No one should stab someone from behind," I said out weakly.

Marilyn came in front of me and gave me an evil grin. "I am sorry, Dawn. I don't play by the rules."

She is worse than the Demon Princess Lilin! Even she won't do such a thing. I crouched on the ground and took out the arrow from my stomach.

Why do people keep hitting me with various types of arrows? Then I looked up at Marilyn. Her eyes were blood red like that of a Demonic entity.

At that moment, I realized that she is not herself! A Demonic entity has possessed her. I was able to feel the presence of the Druid.. That is why she is doing all this.
