Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 70 - The Awakening Of The Dawn

Celestia's POV:

The rage in me multiplied tenfold when I saw the silver liquid dripping down from Theo's neck. My anger was burning like a bright fire inside my body.

I have never been this overwhelmed with anger. My blood began to boil like the Holy Fire of the Aiden. Golden flames emitted out of my palms immediately at first.

My flames were so dense enough to melt the iron restraints that were holding my wrists together. I got up from the ground as soon as I released myself from the cuffs. Everyone was watching me in complete horror.

Where did I get this much power? I didn't know! I noticed that the wound in my midriff had healed itself. I didn't feel hurt or weak anymore. My mind was completely filled with fury and rage. I wanted to burn everyone with my bright golden flames.

My eyes were not innocent blue anymore. They were gleaming yellow, just like my flames. Even my skin was shining bright like gold. My feet were no longer on the ground. The surge of powers in me made me hover a foot above the ground.

"What have you done, Marilyn?" Alaric screamed out. "You have awoken the Dawn!"

I struck Alaric with my flames multiple times, even before he expected an attack. This time his torso was on fire. He was not able to tolerate the heat. Alaric immediately ran away from the spot.

I heard a loud thud of someone falling in the stream water. Alaric must have jumped in the stream to save himself. I will get back to him later.

I must eradicate the rest of the vampires first. Then I cast my flames on all the Vampires who were on the ground. My energy didn't seem to diminish even after I set multiple Vampires on fire.

All the burning Vampires followed Alaric, and they went directly to the stream. After a while, I began to notice that the unattacked Vampires were also jumping into the water out of fear. Good for them!

But I am not going to leave them alone. Not until all of them are dead. But I need to take care of Marilyn first. I stared at her blood-red eyes. The Drude in her tried hard to control me. But she was not successful this time.

"Get out of her body," I roared at the Drude.

"No," Marilyn said in a harsh tone that didn't even belong to her. "She is mine now! I will not leave her."

"Then you leave me no choice," I said and hit my sparks at her. I didn't attack her with my bright flames as I didn't want to set Marilyn on fire.

Marilyn is an innocent girl who is possessed by an evil spirit. I stuck Marilyn with my feeble sparks. Only her gown was on fire. But the drude in her began to cry out loud.

A Drude is a spirit of a nightmare, and the only thing it hates is fire! The evil spirit immediately left Marilyn's body as soon as her gown caught on fire.

Marilyn was knocked out on the ground while the Drude took its original form. She didn't have a complete body. The spirit was just floating in the air and was wearing a long black cloth. Her hair was a mixture of grey and black.

She didn't have any eyeballs at all. Her eyes were just red slits. I sensed that she was still trying to control my mind. "When are you going to learn that you can't control the Dawn?" I yelled at her and burned her with my flames.

Within a few seconds, the Drude began to scream out hysterically as she was completely submerged in the fire. The cries of the Drude echoed everywhere across the stream.

Soon, all the Mages who were unconscious on the stream banks woke up from the ground. It looked as if they all were waking up from sleep. How did they wake up? Perhaps the screams of the Drude brought consciousness to everyone.

They all were stunned when they looked at me. The Mage Lord Magnus moved closer to me and looked at me in astonishment.

"Dawn is in her actual form. Everybody bow to the Dawn," Lord Magnus shouted out loud.

Then everyone got on their knees and bowed to me. But my eyes were still on the Drude, which was consumed by my flames. Soon the evil spirit fell on the ground and turned into ashes.

Only after that Marilyn regained her consciousness. She began to cry uncontrollably as soon as she realized everything that had happened to her. Now that the Drude is gone, I can focus on eradicating the Vampires now.

I turned to the stream and was disappointed when I found no one in there. Where did they all go? They must have escaped when I was busy with the Drude.

I should have focused on eradicating the Vampires first! Whatever, I believe I will get another chance at this. I eventually came back to my usual form.

My legs were back on the ground, and my skin was not gleaming gold anymore. My eyes became blue again. But the Mages were still on their knees.

"You can all get up now," I declared.

After that, my eyes began to search for Theo. Where is he? He was lying on the grass just two feet away from me. But now he was missing!

Even his silver blood that dribbled from his neck was on the grass. But he was not there. Perhaps he is somewhere in this crowd. "Theo," I called out.

Still, he was nowhere to be seen. Then suddenly, fear hit my heart. What if the Vampires have taken him with them? He was not conscious, and they could have dragged Theo's body from here.

I can't let that happen! I immediately began to run in the direction of the waterfalls. That is where the Vampires had their portal. So if I get there in time, I could possibly save Theo.

I hope I am not too late! Nothing will happen to Theo. If he wakes up, it is dangerous for those Vampires. Theo will be safe.

But the Drude had sliced Theo's throat a little with the Silver knife. He can't be completely fine! He needs my help.. My legs ran as fast they could in the pathway of the waterfalls.
