Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Chapter 71 - He Creates Chaos According To His Will

Celestia's POV:

I reached the starting point of the stream as fast as I could get there. I was able to hear the Vampires arguing with each other. So they are still here! They have not yet left this place.

The noise was coming from behind the ashwood trees. I was about to step in there, but I hid behind the tree trunk when I saw Theo. He was good! His neck had no trace of a wound.

Theo has the power to heal himself, but still, I wasn't able to comprehend why he was facing the Vampires causally without even battling with them. What is going on here?

Theo was quietly watching the Vampires who were quarreling with each other. Then after a while, he shouted, "The sun is going to come up soon."

It made all the Vampires shiver. And Theo wasn't lying. Within thirty minutes, the sun is going to rise. If they all stay out on this ground after the sun comes up, they all will crumble to dust.

The Vampire Clan leader Alaric moved closer to Theo. The upper part of his robe was worn out due to the fire. Then I noticed that a lot of the Vampires' robes were partially worn out due to my fire!

"Give us the Icebreaker now," Alaric yelled at Theo viciously.

But Theo stared at him casually. "I am sorry, I am afraid you guys have to aid me with one more thing before you could get the Icebreaker."

I covered my mouth with my fingers and stopped myself from screaming out loud. Theo is associated with the Vampires?!!!! I should not react now. Not until I find the whole truth because this could be a misunderstanding too.

Alaric got impatient with his answer. He extended his claws a little and almost touched Theo's face with it. But Theo didn't even flinch at all.

"You wicked trickster! You are deceiving us," Alaric growled. "We did everything that you told us to do. We attacked the Valley multiple times, as you said. We all engaged in a mock battle with you and the Dawn, just like you instructed us."

I was getting dizzier and dizzier as I heard what Alaric said. Theo directed everything that happened so far?

"I made the Drude possessed Marilyn to mix the enhancing potion in the cauldron of firewater just like you told me to do," Alaric went on. "And tonight, we almost lost all of our lives while attacking the Dawn. She was in her actual form, and she set us all on fire! If we hadn't jumped in the stream water, then we would have been dead by now."

Alaric lowered his claws a little, and now he was aiming them to Theo's chest. And I was hiding behind the trees and foolishly hoped that what Alaric was saying must be untrue!

"The Vampire Clan has done so much for you already," Alaric continued his speech. "But you are still refusing to give us the Icebreaker!"

Theo pushed away Alaric's claws from him, and he grinned at him calmly. "All I am asking you is to do one more challenge for me. After that, you will get the Icebreaker."

"I don't trust you, Silver Shadow," the female Vampire with brown hair from the crowd said. "You are misleading us and using us for your selfish needs. We are not your slaves. We are the Vampires, and you can't treat us like this."

Theo strode closer to the brown-haired Vampire girl and stared directly at her eyes.

"I am sorry that you feel that way, my lady," Theo said in his deep tone. "I thought that Vampires are brave creatures who love to face any challenges that come in their way. I never knew that you people consider performing a challenge as slavery!"

The Vampire girl's face turned red in embarrassment. "We like to face any challenge," the Vampire girl yelled at Theo. " We are not scared of anyone or anything!"

"Then you should be okay with facing one more challenge before you get the Icebreaker," Theo blurted out.

"I am okay with facing another challenge," she agreed with Theo immediately.

"Fine," Theo smiled and looked at others. "So, do you all agree to accept another challenge? Or do you want to give up?"

"We don't want to give up," they all said in unison.

At that moment, I noticed what Theo did there! The Vampires are the creatures of pride. So Theo raised a question on their dignity just to mess with their minds. And now the Vampires are obligated to agree with Theo's demand due to their pride!

I realized the intensity of Theo's manipulation skills. He first remains silent and analyzes his victim's mind. After he studied them, he uses every word in a calculated way and controls his victims just with his words! He managed to bring the whole Vampire clan to his side with this technique.

"Silver Shadow," Alaric growled like an animal. "The rest of them might have agreed with you. But I am not going to leave this place until I get the Icebreaker."

Now Alaric was the only one who seemed to be against Theo. Alaric seemed to be immune to Theo's tricks. I wondered how Theo was going to subdue him.

"Alaric," Theo chuckled a little. "The night is going to end! You have to leave this place within a few minutes for the sake of the Holy Aiden! Or else you all will perish in the sunlight, and I will end up winning anyway!"

That was more than enough for Alaric to accept the defeat. "This is not over yet, Silver Shadow. If you try to deceive us the next time, the Vampire King Ambrogio will turn the whole demons against you," he said and walked to the portal.

All the Vampires rushed to the portal as their life depended on it. It took me a while to process everything that has just happened.

Theo is the reason for all the commotion. He creates chaos, and then he subdues them according to his will! But why is he doing all of this?

"My love, you can come out of your hiding place now," Theo called out suddenly and made me shiver.
