Forever Destined To The Silver Shadow

Celestia's POV: 

"Excuse me, your highness," Amelia smiled and went away from the room. 

Theo finally looked at me. "How are you feeling now, Celestia?" 

"I am fine," I replied and looked away from him. 

"Celestia," he mumbled. "I am sorry for forcing you to become the Queen. I know that you just want to be a warrior, and I should not have pressured you."

I didn't know what to say! I never expected that he would apologize to me. 

"So I have decided to obey everything you say from now on. You don't have to be the Queen anymore! If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask me. And most importantly, please don't hate me!"

After that, he just walked away from the room and left me in shock. What just happened right now?!!

I paced around the room miserably. I had mixed feelings about the whole thing. Theo told me that he doesn't want me to be the Queen anymore. I should be happy now. But I wasn't! 

Someone entered my room at that time. I thought it would be Amelia, but it turned out to be Ivory! What is she doing here? 

She was not wearing a simple gown or armor suit like she used to. She was wearing a well-designed white silk gown that seemed to be made by hand. 

Her raven hair was not curled anymore. It was pin-straight and sleek. I thought that the feast ended yesterday. Why is she wearing fancy clothes now?

"Celestia, thank you so much for giving up your position for me," she said and gave me a forced hug. 

I immediately pulled away from her and stared at her oddly. "What are you saying?"

Ivory smiled at me warmly. "Since you gave up your position as the Queen of the Lowlands, Theo has asked me to fill in your shoes! And I accepted it. It is a dream come true for me."

What?!!! Has Theo asked Ivory to be the Queen? This is absurd! Nobody in their right mind would make a mean girl like her as the Queen. 

"You are so considerate, Celestia. Thank you again," she said and walked to the door. 

Is she for real? What will happen to the people of the lowlands when a mean girl like her rules them? And has Theo gone insane? Theo never goes insane! He is always cautious of everything that happens around him.

Then it flashed in my mind! Theo knows very well that I hate her! He is trying to mess with me by making Ivory the Queen. 

Just when I was feeling sorry for him, he did something like this and made me furious again! I am not going to let that wicked woman rule my people! 

I immediately went out of my room. Theo's chamber was right next to mine, but his room was a bit narrow. The door of his room was open, and I was about to get in the room. 

But I stopped and hid behind the wall when I saw Ivory. What is she doing in Theo's room?

"Theo, I am warning you! If you take one more sip from that goblet, I am going to call Queen Cynthia here to tame you," Ivory yelled at Theo. 

I peeked a little to see what was going on in there. Theo seemed to be completely intoxicated by the firewater! He was holding a goblet in his hands, and he tried hard to stay still on his feet. 

Ivory was struggling to snatch away the goblet from his hand, but Theo wasn't making it easy for her. "Ivory, please leave me alone! Firewater is all I have to conceal my grief. You can't take that away from me!"

Ivory took a step back from him in shock. "But this is not the solution, Theo. This drink might give you bliss, but that is just temporary!"

Theo took another sip from the cup and glared at Ivory. "What choice do I have other than this? This morning I spoke to her, and she refuses to even look at me! Do you know how it feels when the people you love stop trusting you?"

"Theo, please calm down," Ivory said. 

"How can I calm down, Ivory? She thinks that I am a Demon! She despises me now," Theo lashed out. "Why does she not trust me? I promised her that I am ready to fulfill each one of her wishes! I told her that she could rely on me. But still, she refused to acknowledge me!"

Ivory finally managed to get the goblet from his hand. She patted Theo's arms and said, "Celestia is very gullible. She believes every lie her friends tell her."

Theo sighed at her statement. "But why won't she believe me? I am her lover!"

Ivory made Theo sit down on the bed, and she wiped his face with a piece of cloth. "Theo, she has known them the most! That is why she is falling into their manipulation. You need to understand that she is just not smart enough to appreciate your love!"

Ivory placed the cloth on the table that was next to the bed, and she gave him water in a cup. "Drink this," she said and gave the cup of water to Theo, but he dropped the cup on the floor and scared Ivory. 

"I want her back," Theo began to shout. "I want her to love me. I have never desired anything as much I desire her. I am ready to give up my dream of becoming the King if it would please her."

"Theo, stop it," Ivory yelled at him. "You can't give up your crown now and betray the people of the Lowlands."

"But what about Celestia," Theo crossed her. "She hates me only because I accepted to be the King of the Lowlands. Before that, she loved and trusted me!"

"You can't abandon your people for her," Ivory repeated. "And I honestly don't know what you see in Celestia. She is not worth it! All she does is hurt you, and you still love her. Why can't you just forget her and accept the people who actually love you?" 

Theo's face turned extremely pale in anger, and he began to yell at the top of his voice. "Ivory, how dare you say that Celestia is not worth it?" 

I was out of the room, but Theo's wild tone terrified even me!
