4 chapter 4 | that's all folks or is i

It is a bit weird waking up to a red sun. It's quite a surprise since for a moment I thought none of yesterday happened. Then again, you could label anything I've seen recently as weird and it would fit in.

Seeing the weird lemurs getting up early morning and doing their daily shores seemed kind of…..normal?

Some of them had some kind of weird leaf on their mouth which I presumed were used to clean their teeth. Others had said their farewells to their families as they wore what looked like different kinds of metallic tubes on their back.

Those metallic tubes for some reason didn't seem to fit in to the technology these lemurs looked to have. During night time, I hadn't seen a iota of electric light in any of the huts or streets.

The only light that were present were the storage building and house sized building that stood at the west side of the village.

Going back to the morning events, most of the villagers seemed to be going to a field laying around 3 miles away from the city.

It was a huge land area that looked impossibly hard to work through with only the amount of people present.

Yes, I'm calling them people now. Well, their acts from going to a lettrine outside their houses to kissing their families goodbye before going to the field to work seemed oddly human.

At least I noticed they weren't savaged by the way they acted around their own people. I even saw a few lemur….errr.. people having what seemed to look like a heated argument.

Oh no, looks like they are coming my way. Now is the moment i wonder if that heated argument they are having has anything to do with me.

On a closer look one of the people In the conversation seemed to be the old lemmur...er..male, that looked at me yesterday.

He looked like someone who had the habit of handling himself with authority. That, and the fact that every other being around him seemed to be greeting him in a very respectful way, even some with fear kind of gave away that he was a person with authority in the village.

Anyways, while I was making assumptions that I hoped would give me the fake sense of having any control of my life at the moment the 2 males got closer to me.

They opened the wooden cage who, by the way, looked like it could fit 20 of me no problem and dragged me out of there with my feet still tied.

How you may ask? The same sandbag position I had been when I got here. Looks like they are fond of carrying stuff….err, me, like that.

Anyways they slid me into one of the huts and forcefully seated me on the ground. At that moment I had lost all the sleepy slugginess out of my system.

What happens next? Well, wouldn't I want to know too. The older male just started rambling as if I had a way to understand him. He seemed to be doing hand gestures that I clearly understood though.

My boss used to do that all the time to me. Asking for questions. Asking for explanations of why something stopped working or is not working as intended.

Wouldn't I want to know too! Well, I had the same situation at the moment with this LEMUR. Even though I had a good night of sleep -the best I could in these situations- I felt as if my head just wanted to snap at his constant questioning. And what's worse is I wasn't even able to understand what he was saying.

I could kind of guess though. "What were you doing sneaking up on us,"" why don't you have a tail""do you mean us any harm". These were questions I imagined he was asking me at the moment.

I observed in his face he noticed I wasn't understanding a word he was saying. Do these people even use words? I was also showing some of my sentiments, confusion, worry, scaredness, rightfully stressed etc. Pile all of them up on my face and that's what I look like now.

The older person who by now was seating on a log he had inside his hut sighed and stood up going a direction that had me intrigued.

He went west. He was walking to the metallic office building. What could be there? That was one of the main questions on my brain. It shouldn't be though. There are way more important questions at the moment. The curious side of me was showing itself from a who knows how long hiatus.

The younger lemur looking alien person male guy...argh, I don't even know what to call them anymore. Anyways, the younger humanoid alien saw my curiosity and flipped my body against the log wall as if implying that it was none of my business what the old lemur was doing.

After what felt like around 30 minutes the old person looked at me, curious of who I was. Out of nowhere he pulled out a metallic tool that looked very futuristic. I wouldn't have known what it was unless I hadn't seen the tiny needle pointing at me from the front end of the tool.

The older humanoid alien closed up on my and forcefully injected a liquid onto my neck. It's over folks.

The adventure of Leon, the human that travelled across the stars to end up in an alien planet is going to die. Never to see the light of day.

How? Killed by an alien that looked like he had a foot in the grave. Was he actually killed though? What is inside the metallic buildings? Why do these aliens seem to have tech do apart from each other.

I would like to know too but for now. My consciousness is fading away…..
