HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(WARM EMBRACE)

"Those were only rumors. There's no need to believe such a thing, and even if it's true. It has nothing to do with us," Sir Arnold responds, making his brothers shut up.

"We should not mingle around other people's lives. We should worry about ours. They have plenty of wealth and power, while we only have one thing," Sir Arnold continues talking.

"And that is to protect our people from hunger. We all better not mind other people, understand?" Sir Arnold added with a firm tone of voice.

"Ye-yes, brother," His brother reply in sync.

"Good, you three should prepare to sleep. Jin and Troy follow me."

As the starry and cold night goes on, the two people who ride back to the Marquis residence were quiet and uncomfortable with each other. Yerre didn't talk at all. She only sat to the front without reaction, which made Alda even more worried.

"Yerre," Alda call breaking the silence, but Yerre didn't reply. Alda called out to her again as she makes her horse run slow.

"Yerre,"

Alda hears a heaving sigh after she called her best friend again, making her concerned.

"Yerre, I'm sorry, I lied," Alda apologizes in her sad tone of voice. Yerre heard it and a deep sigh as she then touches Cathlen's left hand, which held her waist tight, securing her.

"Alda," Yerre respond.

"Are you still mad at me?" Alda asks.

"No, not anymore," Yerre answer.

"Are you sure?"

"Em, I'm sure, don't worry, I understand why you lie to me earlier. I'm sorry that I scolded you too, but please don't lie again, for my sake. I don't want us to be in a death situation again," Yerre responds with a request as her hand that holds Cathlen's left hand trembles from the thought that they might die again. Alda felt Yerre's hands trembled.

"Yerre?" Alda gasps and calls out to her, worried as she made her horse stop running, then back hugs Vendia's body, drowning her face to Vendia's back.

"I'm sorry, I promise I will get your permission before I do some actions from now on," Alda oath as Yerre sigh relaxing her body then hold Cathlen hands.

"Okay," Yerre replies as Alda then let go of her and again made her horse move and run at a slow pace.

"Can we meet tomorrow night again?" Alda asks.

"Of course, but," Yerre stops in the middle of her words, making Alda concern.

"What is it?"

"I am worried about you. What if you get caught cross-dressing," Yerre recites her answer and concerned towards her best friends.

"Don't worry. I have angela, remember?" Alda reminded her.

"I know that, but I'm still worried," Yerre responds.

"Don't worry, I will be fine," Alda reply as Yerre nod, but her heart still has worries.

"Okay, but Alda, I don't want to climb on the wall anymore," Yerre mentions.

"What? What do you want us to do, then?" Alda asks.

"I don't know," Yerre answer, which made Alda think deep but nothing comes.

"Haaa, I'm sorry. I can't think of anything. I'm sleepy already," Alda answer within her lazy tone of voice, making Yerre giggled.

"It's okay. How about tomorrow morning at nine? Can you accompany me?" Yerre mentions, which made Alda curious.

"Tomorrow morning at nine? Why? Where are you going?" Alda asks.

"I will go to the Astrod forest to the location where Vendia dies," Yerre answer, which made Alda shocked.

"WHAT? Why? What are you going to do there?" Alda asks, still have the same expression as they ride her rose back to the Marquis residence at a slow pace.

"I told you before, right? That I got a chance to talk to Vendia soul," Yerre continues reminding Alda.

"And she wants me to light white candles every day for her soul to be ascended to the heavens," Yerre answers, reminding Alda of what she told her after they meet as Cathlen and Vendia for the first time.

"Ahh... that one. Yeah, I remember, but what about your maid, Mary, right?" Alda mentions.

"Yes," Yerre responds.

"What about her? She will come with your tomorrow, right?" Alda asks.

"Yes, but she will not enter the forest with me because I don't want her to think weird of me," Yerre answers.

"Oh, so tomorrow morning, we can meet up?" Alda answer.

"Yes, but, depends on your situation. What about you? Can you meet me up in the forest tomorrow morning?" Yerre asks because she knows Alda won't be able to go out without guards accompanying her.

"Uh, yeah. I can, don't worry. I will find a way," Alda answer with an assuring smile.

"Okay, but don't do things that can harm you after, understood?" Yerre reminds her.

"Yeah, I won't," Alda answer without a second.

"Good, you still remember the area where Vendia die, right?" Yerre asks.

"I do," Alda answer.

"Okay, I will wait for you there," Yerre responds.

"Okay, but can we still meet up at night after that?" Alda answer with a question. Yerre giggled, then reply.

"Alda, if we meet up all day, you'll lose interest in me," Yerre asks, teasing her a little. Alda chuckled, then reply.

"How could I? That will never happen. Yerre, I endure things for years, remember?" Alda reply.

"Yeah, but we won't meet at night after we meet tomorrow morning," Yerre mentions, making Alda surprised and disappointed.

"What? Whyyyyy," Alda asks using a childish sound, sulking as she lay her jaw to Vendia left shoulder.

"Alda, I don't want you to exhaust yourself."

"I will not exhaust myself. Seeing you every day is like vitamins to me, so let's meet up at night too, okay?" Alda replies, persistent, making Yerre giggled again.

"You such a sweet talker as always, ha," Yerre responds as she made her body leaned back to Cathlen's body. Alda smirk for a second, then smiled as she held Vendia's waist while her jaw still lay at Vendia's left shoulder.

"Only to you," Alda reply.

"Liar, you sweet talk to your mother too," Yerre mentions.

"I did? Why can't I remember I did?" Alda pretending not to remember anything making Yerre laugh, then sits straight as Alda lets go of Vendia waist.

"Is okay if you won't remember, but Alda,"

"Hm?" Alda respond.

"If someday your feelings for me change and you found someone yo-" Yerre's words got cut by fast reply.

"I won't! My feelings will never change. I promise," Alda pace respond as Yerre felt her left hand trembled.

"I'm sorry. I was only telling you the possibilities that if someday you found somebody else other than me. You don't have to worry because I will not hate you or curse at you. I will accept everything. I will let you go without hard feelings," Yerre mentions, which made Alda more scared.

"No, Yerre, please don't say words like that again. It makes my heart hurt. I don't like it is uncomfortable," Alda request as Yerre nod then held her left hands to calm her.

"I'm sorry," Yerre apologizes.

"My heart only belongs to you. No one else can have it other than you, no one," Alda persistent reply.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry, you can stop being scared now," Yerre responds.

"I can't. You made me worried by your words," Alda reply as she drowned her face to Vendia's right neck, making Yerre smile and sigh.

"Can you stop your horse from running and moving for a while?" Yerre request.

"What? Why?" Alda asks while she made her horse stop from running and moving. When the horse stops, Yerre then turns her head to the right side and kisses Cathlen forehead, making Alda's heart skip a beat.

"I'm sorry," Yerre apologizes as she gives out a warm smile to her best friend. Alda stares at her, eyes full of shock because Yerre's surprised reaction caught her off guard.

"You... really... why are you so..." Alda responds as she stops herself from kissing Yerre's lips.

"How you feel now?" Yerre asks, concern. Alda made her sit straight and turn to the front, making Yerre confused.

"Alda?" Yerre call.

"Yerre, don't do things like that again, or else I will lose control and kissed you without your consent," Alda respond, which made Yerre flinch and blushed.

"I... I'm sorry. I-I won't do it again," Yerre replies, stuttering from embarrassment as her heart beats like a car engine. Alda laugh then went close to Vendia's left ear.

"But, I won't don't mind if you kissed me without my consent," Alda whisper within her warm and firm tone of voice, making Yerre shivered all over her body.

"Alda!" Yerre shouts her reply as she can't take it Alda behavior to her anymore. Alda laugh.

"I'm sorry," Alda apologize.

"Don't be so bold anymore, understand?" Yerre demand as her body still felt the same and her face still flushing red.

"Oh-ho~ I don't think I'm the person who make a bold move first," Alda reminded Yerre of what happened back to the Queen's death anniversary again, making Yerre blushed even more.

"Alda!" Yerre shouts in irritation as Alda only laughs.

"Sorry, I won't tease you anymore," Alda apologizes again, but Yerre only gives her a mad reply.
