He/Heroine And My Villainess
Chapter 195 - 195
HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS
(TALE OF MAN AND WOMAN)
It was Vendia. She tries her best to hug his uncle again using her soul form while she cries in gladness, grief, and sadness. Sir Aloit stood at his position, not moving. It felt like something is telling him not to move yet or his feet won't move.
His heart felt like something is missing, he felt a wave of emotions out of nowhere, and his tears start to fall, making him wonder and confused.
"Wh-what is going on?" He asks. Vendia heard her uncle confused cries. She raises her head and looks straight at him with a bitter smile as she said.
"Uncle? I think your body saw me, but your eyes do not. But it's fine. It's good that you can't saw me," Vendia pause for a moment as her voice starts to tremble and her cries turned messy.
"I don't want to see your sorrowful eyes or hear your mournful voice because it will be made me want to come back at you all," She paused once again, hiccuping and huffing through her messy sobs.
"I'm sorry," She apologizes, still holding her uncle close to her arms as she cries in distress.
"I'm sorry, I already decided not to come back to you all anymore. I'm selfish, I know. But I have to. I have to cause I don't want to hurt you all anymore. I love you all so much that it hurts,"
"I've wasted my life, my days and years to someone who has never love and appreciated me as a person. Now I'm being chained with choice and tormenting decisions. I'm sorry that I let myself be eaten away by darkness and jealousy, uncle," Vendia continues speaking out all the things she wants to say to her uncle before she kills herself. Tears of sorrow and pain linger out to her eyes like an incurable poison. She could not stop her emotions flooding out as she continues speaking out to him.
"But uncle. Why do you wander too far? You said that you won't be too long, that you will come back after you settle things to yourself. I waited for you for so long. So long that the person I love made me blind. I hurt and lost myself," Vendia continues saying the words she wants her uncle to know when he was away. At this moment, Vendia began to turn like a daughter. Who complains to her father, who has been gone for too long.
Her cries turn uglier and messier. Her body shivered, her knees want to fall to the floor from unstoppable emotions she felt. But she refrains it from doing so Vendia continues hugging her uncle tight. But Sir Aloit doesn't even have a clue. His tears continue flowing like a river while his body still can't leave its previous position.
'What the hell is going?' Sir Aloit thought, pissed off as he tried again to move his body but still no result.
"I tried to find it again. But I ended up hurting the people who cherish me the most and kill myself. I'm sorry, uncle, I could not wait for you to come back home. I'm sorry. Please forgive me, forgive me," Vendia utter in agony as she touches her uncle's face and strokes it with eyes full of sorrow and pain, then hugged him again like a daughter who misses her half father.
Ever since little, the person who's always been there for her is Sir Aloit. Before, her parents could not give time, care, and fulfilling warmth to her. The only person who gives it all to her is her uncle. The person who knows her well all those unbearing years is her uncle.
"What the hell? The fuck this is weird," He utters as he starts to felt like something is wrong. He tried to shout for help, but no one can hear him is like he's inside a sealed barrier. He was the only person who can overhear his voice. While Sir Aloit continues struggling from breaking out into something he doesn't know. Vendia continues bursting out her emotions and feelings to him.
"Uncle, don't be scared. I only use what our wandering soul is capable of doing. I use a small wind to prevent you from leaving and a wind barrier so no one could hear your voice other than me. Don't worry, uncle, all this is harmful. I only want to hug you and say the words I want you to hear before I decided to take my life," Vendia mentions.
On the other side of the room, Yerre only listens to Vendia heartbreaking and tormenting words.
Earlier to the living room, Yerre was only pretending to be asleep in Sir Aloit arms. Because she wants to bring Sir Aloit inside Lady Vendia chamber with no force, Yerre does not know what would Vendia do if she saw her uncle.
Whom she had not seen for too long, so she decided to pretend that she was asleep, bring Sir Aloit inside the chamber like a usual thing, then listen to them.
With no knowledge that it will be this heavy, she stays still in the bed as she continues pretending to be asleep because, Yerre does not want to interfere with their moment, but her heart feels hurt and heavy, for she overheard all the things that Vendia told Sir Aloit.
Vendia hugged Sir Aloit tighter, but his uncle didn't felt anything. The only thing he felt is his body felt heavy, and he can't move an inch. Upon feeling satisfied and contended, Vendia says her bid because she feels. That if she stays long. Her heart might want to stay here for long and will never leave.
"...Uncle, I must go now. I can't stay here for long because my heart and mind might demand more. Don't worry. I'll try to come back and see you all. But for now, this is enough. Stay safe, and please do take care of yourself. I love you. You and my parents," Vendia mentions as she fades in the room like a wind. Sir Aloit then felt light in his heart and body. He can now move. He wipes his eyes that wet from tears and strides back to Yerre.
He looks at Yerre and sighs, feeling glad that she is safe, that nothing weird has happened to her. Sir Aloit went close to Yerre side, then scanned everything for assurance and saw nothing strange. His heartfelt light and ease upon seeing her sleeping in peace.
'Good, she's sound asleep. I wonder what happened to me,' Sir Aloit thought-feeling strange and weird as he went close to the door chamber, touch the doorknob. Then went out, leaving Yerre alone inside the room with a heart full of sadness and sorrow for Vendia.
From the time she heard Sir Aloit already left the room. She then opens her eyes, and tears of grief start to flood like an angry river. She sobs and sniffs like she lost something valuable to her.
Her heartfelt was so heavy that her lungs start to tighten. She could not breathe well. Yerre clenches the strand of her clothes that's close to her chest. Then tagged both knees close to her stomach, Yerre sobs like someone has stabbed a large knife into her heart.
Anyone who might saw her crying over Vendia might think she is over-sensitive, but she does not care. Because the people who only know what Vendia had been through are her and her best friend.
She does not care what other people might think of her. But she wants others to know that the pain and sorrow. She felt towards Vendia, who suffers unfairness in this world are very visible.
The person they called a villain into this book only wants one thing that's not meant for her to have in the first place. But she refused, she fights through fate. So in the end she suffers the consequences and dies with no gain.
"But is unfair…" Yerre utter in her sobs.
Yerre sobs herself to sleep till noon, until the sun sleeps and the night rules once again. Mary knocks on Lady Vendia chamber door carrying her dinner. But she did not respond. So, Mary knocks on the door again but still no response.
So, she decided to barge in inside with no permission and went to check on her. Only to see that the lamp inside the room still has not open and the only light you can see inside comes from the moon.
Mary went to put the food tray over the drawer beside the bed, then light the lamp, and when she turns to look at Yerre. She saw that she is sleeping in peace, but something is off. Mary saw Yerre face and eyelashes wet. She leans closer into Yerre face to check if what she saw is tears.
And what she thinks comes through, Mary wonders her thought, to why Yerre face is wet from tears, then remembers what Madam Rose had told her earlier.
'Ahh... she must have had a hard time accepting the fact that Sir Aloit will soon serve the royal family as a knight,' Mary thought as she back off, strengthen her posture back to its usual position, then takes the tray that has food back to her.
Mary went inside the guest room. Then put the food on the table, and get back to Yerre side to wake her up for her supper. Mary calls her three times until she wakes up, opens her eyes in snail motion, and blinks to clear her vision.
Yerre turns to her head to the right side and saw Mary with a gentle smile, waiting for her to stand out from her bed and eat her dinner.
"Mary?" She called in her sleepy voice.
"Good evening, Miss. Your supper is ready in your guest room. Did you have a good sleep today?" Mary asks within her gentle and caring tone of voice. Yerre stares at her for a second, wondering if she already knows about Sir Aloit issue, then she remembered something and realize that Madam Rose must have told her earlier. Yerre smile back at her then replies.
"Emn, I did,"
Yerre then stood out from the bed and woke towards the guest room with Mary following her at the back. Mary didn't say anything. She only accompanies Yerre until she had done eating her dinner, and so does Yerre.
She does not have something in her mind at the moment, so she only eats her dinner quietly, and also, she thinks that Mary might not want to make her feel even worst about Sir Aloit situation. So the two of them stay quiet until she finishes. From the moment Yerre had done eating her supper. Mary then cleans everything. After that, she then helps Yerre to bathe and changes into something decent and comfortable to sleep.
The two of them still did not say anything to each other. Yerre and Mary only said the words related to what they are doing until Yerre has done bathing. Mary then helps her change, then bid her a good night. Yerre nod with a smile, then reply.
"Mn, can you lock the door after you have gone out, Mary?" Yerre demand.
"Okay, Miss, have a good night's sleep," Mary responded, with a smile as she went close to the door, presses the lock button of the doorknob, then went outside, closing the door from behind.
To be continued.
