HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(THE WILLOW VINES)

In prophetic dreams, there are only two possible outcomes: whether they will come true or not. If you want it to come true, you must let the flow of fate work on it.

But if you don't want it to come true, find the fault with it and change the flow immediately without touching the sensitive pattern through it. So you won't face any consequences.

Kayla walked further and went beside Alda's. When she arrived beside Alda, Kayla then touched her shoulder and called out her name.

"Alda,"

But Alda didn't respond. She didn't feel her touch or hear Kayla's voice. She still stood there like she didn't feel or hear anything. From Kayla's perspective, it looks like she is inside a barrier right now and she does not want other people to get inside, other than herself.

Her eyes were blank and no written meaning was left. It's all empty and filled with meaningless views.

It's like she wants to be alone and be left rooted like a wasted meal. This made Kayla anxious and feel even more guilty.

She gripped Alda's shoulder, so she could pass through her. She gripped it tight until she got the reaction she wanted. Alda twitches her brows like she is in pain.

Kayla then didn't waste time and continued talking by mentioning Yerre's name out loud. So she could fully pull Alda back to her senses and escape the prophetic dream.

"Alda, it's time to wake up. Yerre is still waiting for you, "her voice was gentle and full of care, just like an elder sister.

Alda heard Yerre's name and she was snapped awake from her thoughts. She turned around and saw Kayla was beside her. still gripping her shoulder while she looked at her with a gentle smile.

"Kayla?" she responded. Her voice was filled with shock, while her face showed delight.

Kayla continued to smile at her. Until she saw Alda's eyes finally had light and image again. This made her sigh in relief and feel glad.

She let go of Alda shoulder and turned to look at the prophetic dream that was shown in front of them. Yerre and the prince are now hugging each other intimately, but Kayla was unbothered that her dreams had still not happened and would not happen.

Her eyebrows twitch uncomfortably. She turned back to Alda and saw her also looking at the prophetic dream. She got anxious and worried again. Kayla hurried and used her hand to turn Alda's face back to face her instead of the dream. She worries that her mental state will be stuck inside the dream again if she continues to watch it. Alda flinched from Kayla's surprise touch on her face and was stunned by Kayla's unexpected action.

"Don't look at it anymore," she said. Giving out a caring expression and soothing voice to Alda. She still held Alda face; she didn't let go of it. Alda, on the other hand, was still stunned by Kayla's actions and was still buffering. She still had not yet gotten sober. She just stared at Kayla eyes with a perplexed expression.

Kayla had a thought that Alda was thinking of that prophetic dream again because she was quiet and had no reaction to it. This made her worried again, so she squeezed Alda's face to make her think away from the image she saw. But Alda was just really surprised by her actions.

She was not thinking of the prophetic dream but of Kayla's actions. Alda was jolted awake upon receiving pain in her face. She hissed in pain and shoved Kayla's hand away from her face.

"Why are you touching my face out of nowhere? Did you wash it?" Alda said. Her voice was filled with irritation and disappointment. But she appreciated and felt thankful that Kayla immediately pulled her face away from that picture. Because if Kayla did not turn her face away, she might have lost herself again. The picture in front of them is just too much for her to bear is her deepest fear, something she didn't want to happen, a fear of seeing Yerre being embraced by another man.

She touched her face and found it wet. Kayla released an awkward laugh. Alda heard his awkward laugh and she looked at her, suspecting something. Kayla glanced at her and showed an awkward smile while she hurriedly wiped her hands on her clothes.

Alda lowers her eyes to look at Kayla's hand and finds it wet from sweat. This made Alda gasp in disbelief. She finally figured out where the wet from her face came from and it was from Kayla's hand.

She snorts and hurriedly brushes away the sweat that Kayla's hands had put on her face. Using her clothes until she can't feel the wetness in her face any longer.

While Alda is busy with her face, Kayla just stares at her with eyes filled with care and relief. Finally, she managed to pull Alda out of her thoughts and mental state.

She can't help but rely on a long sigh and look straight at Alda, who is still busy wiping her face while glaring at her. But she didn't mind that glare anymore. She went on to explain their situations in greater detail.

"Look, I didn't mean to put the sweat on my hand in front of your face" She paused her words for a minute, taking a glance at the prophetic dreams for a second, then turned back to gaze at Alda, who had already finished cleaning her face. She smiled at her and continued her sentence.

"That's my dream. I accidentally transferred some energy to you earlier, when I was still in bed. You held my hand earlier, right? "She asked. Alda looked at her, stunned, and thought about what had happened earlier before she got stuck into a dream. She thought it over for two seconds, and figured that she did, indeed, hold Kayka's hand.

Alda nodded. Her face couldn't help but show anxiousness and fear, because she already knew the meaning of the prophetic dream. Kayla had already explained it to her, and she couldn't help but shiver inside her body and feel scared.

Kayla observed her reaction and saw Alda having the same reaction she had, while she was stuck in her own world earlier.

Kayla hurried and slapped her in the face to make her turn away from her critical thoughts once again, making Alda shout in pain.

"Aw! What's that for?! Do you want me to punch you? " She asked. Her voice is filled with confusion and anger. But Kayla didn't mind her reactions. Instead, she smiled at her and said,

"Don't give me a headache by thinking too deeply again," For a split second, Alda was stunned by her words. She couldn't believe that Kayla had figured out what was inside her mind.

"Yo---you could have given me a heads up before smacking me." Alda complained, but she felt glad that Kayla had slapped her, or else she would have been stuck inside her head once again, feeling cold and angry about something she could not understand. Sometimes it is about herself, then the prince. It is very messy and confusing.

"That was not a smack, that was a slap," Kayla responded,  correcting Alda words.

"Meh is the same thing," Alda scoffs at her. Kayla just chuckles at Alda's response. She looked straight at her for a minute, then stroked her head, like in front of her right now was her siblings, back in their world, and said,

"Don't worry. I will help you have a happy life with Yerre in my book. In return for saving my life and for accepting my request to become your personal fortune teller. I will help you find the route to that prophetic dream and destroy it before it comes true. Okay? "

Upon hearing her words, Alda couldn't help but release a heavy breath of relief. But something more had awakened inside of her that made her tremble and burst into tears in front of Kayla. The emotions just came back, rushing to her like surging waves. It made her feel heavy inside her heart so that she almost choked on her own saliva and made her breath hitch. This made her think that she was so thankful and happy that she had found Kayla.

Kayla looked at her with sentimental feelings and couldn't help but see through Alda, her younger sister's figure and image. She pulled Alda into her arms and embraced her closer to her. She stroked her back and said.

"It will be all right. Everything will be fine. You'll be all right. Don't be scared. Let's wake up now, okay? Don't worry when you wake up from this prophetic dream; Yerre will be there at the Marquis residence waiting for you, " Her voice was warm and comforting. It made Alda cry even more and made her find it hard to speak or respond. So she just nods and responds to Kayla's hug by hugging her back.

This was the first time that Alda didn't hesitate to show weakness to others, and she didn't feel bothered by it. She didn't care. Why would she care? Does she need to have permission to cry out her worries and fears? She is a woman, not a man, so she can't pull off a perfect image of a sturdy woman all the time.

In Yerre's case, Alda could not open up all her weaknesses to Yerre for now because she felt that it was not the right time. She needs to be a strong figure outside for now, because she is afraid to see Yerre being scared of not seeing one last strong figure standing beside her.

She needs to wear all her armor while taking care of her girlfriend. She needs to be strong, but for now, she will let this flow and dry later. So she can go back to Yerre, already sobered and calmed.
