HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(THE APPRECIATION OF CALMNESS AND STEADINESS)

"YAH!" Then her horse ran faster, catching up to Alda. They rode their horses at high speed for one hour. Until they reached the back of the Duke mansion and saw the wall that they had gone out of earlier.

They go down to their horses. When they are both now standing on the ground, Alda spanks the butt of the horses hard and it runs away faster from where they were standing. This made Kayla shocked and confused.

"Why did you let it go? You pay for it right? " She asked. Her voice sounded curious and shocked.

"Yes, I pay for it. We need to let it go. We can't use it anymore, you know? " Alda answered. Her words were unclear and were not complete, leaving Kayla perplexed.

"What? What do you mean we can no longer use it? We can still use it when we go back to the forest later tonight, "Kayla responded. Alda sighed and touched her shoulder. Her face showed tiredness and no interest.

"We won't ride a horse to go to their location anymore. It's too expensive to buy another horse again, "she said.

"What? Then what will we use?" Kayla asked. Alda smirked, then showed a grinning smile at Kayla. Her smirk and smile made Kayka feel worried and thought that Alda might have something like a plan invented inside her mind again. But why do I feel anxious and concerned? Kayla looked straight at her and waited for her to respond, with eyes filled with worry.

"Jeje, can you find a spell that will allow us to teleport to their location more quickly?"Alda said. Her words came as a shock to Kayla, and she was caught off guard.

"WHAT?!" Kayla's voice came out like a shout. So Alda immediately covered her mouth and smacked her shoulder using her free hand for being too loud.

"Eish! Control your voice! " Alda says it in a whisper. But her voice was full of force and was loud enough for Kayla to hear. Kayla muffled her mouth and looked at Alda with an expression that said, "Are you crazy? " Alda had read what her expression was about, but she was unconcerned. She was so concerned and anxious that someone had heard Kayla's voice. She didn't have time to mind Kayla reactions for now.

"Shut up for now and listen," she instructs. Her voice was demanding and full of concern. Kayla nodded, and Alda immediately let go of her mouth.

They decided to stay quiet for a minute, listening to the other side of the wall and hearing no one walking or talking. They sigh in relief and look at each other for a spilt second. signaling each other to proceed inside. They both nod at each other and start striding over to the stone door. Alda was the first one to open the stone door and enter, observing the area first before she signaled Kayla to follow and enter inside the garden too.

Kayla entered and followed her lead. She didn't feel nervous or anxious anymore. Not like earlier when they were sneaking to escape. Now she felt used and calm. As long as Alda is with her, she will be fine. The wall behind them then automatically closes in silence and they proceed inside, still wearing caution and alertness. They continue walking in haste inside while listening and observing the area they all pass through.

When they finally arrived in front of Lady Cathlen's chamber terrace, Alda made Kayla climb up first, while she continued observing and taking secure measures of the area. When they finally managed to climb inside Lady Cathlen's chamber. A wave of relief washed over them, rushing through their bodies, and they both sighed. Alda thanked Kayla for saving her today and said.

"Go back to your room and act normal. When some servant sees you walking around the empty hall, just act like you just woke up early and went for a stroll around the garden for a while, "Alda instructed to Kayla and she only nodded. She didn't respond to her with words anymore because it would only make their conversation longer again.

Kayla wanted to go back to her chamber where Marsha was sleeping soundly. To take a rest for a while because the tiredness from riding a horse came rushing to her body slowly. It made her sleepy. She yawned and smiled at Alda, then left her alone inside Lady Cathlen's chamber. When she closed the chamber door, Alda went to clean herself and changed into a sleeping outfit to take a nap for three hours before starting her day again.

She lay down on the soft, king-sized bed and took in the tiredness her body felt. She yawned, hugged a large pillow beside her, and went to sleep. After fifteen minutes, the sun finally rises in the sky again, and everyone is fully awake. The street leading to the old town had once again become lively and fully populated with people. Some are vendors, while the others are buyers.

The children now have their own chores and routine to help their parents first before they go play with their friends. The birds who were asleep are now taking a tour and journeying up to the clear blue sky that has clouds which have formed into different kinds of sizes. Some flowers who are new born are now taking their eyes open to take in the sun's light. The fog over the forest and mountains can still be seen, but it is slowly fading away as the sun takes its duty to conquer every land by giving them light and warm days.

It was not long until everyone had fully opened their eyes and spread their arms to hug the day. Many people slowly walk through the streets of the town to breathe in the freshness and warmth of the day. Some are exploring the town, while buying different kinds of things that the town has installed for travelers and tourists to enjoy. Others were just strolling with their loved ones and families, looking around to enjoy the day while it passed by.

The Marquis residence is now filled with liveliness and is now fully filled with cheerful sounds. All the servers are now awake, doing their different routines and errands one by one. Their masters were already awake, but one person was still sleeping like a bunny inside the chamber. Grabbing her blanket in her arms, she looks like she is longing for someone to hug. Her sky blue-violet long curly hair is all messed up and scattered at her side like a curly ribbon, making her look like she has had a comfy and wonderful sleep.

Someone was striding down the hall way and stopped in front of Lady Vendia's door chamber.

"Miss? Is Mary, "as she said those words, she knocked on the door, but she didn't receive a response because the woman she was calling inside the room was still in deep sleep. Mary went to knock again, but still got no response. She excused herself and opened the door. She then went inside and stride over to the glass door that had been covered with a long and thick brown curtain.

She went to pull down the long lace and uncovered the curtain, allowing the sun to explore and enter the room. When the sun light fully gave light inside the room, Mary then saw that Yerre was still sleeping when she was about to go over to her. She saw her eyelids move and heard her groaning in an uncomfortable tone. The sun's light made Yerre feel uncomfortable and irritated.

She twisted to the side, her eyes still closed, then she covered her head with a blanket that she was hugging in her arms. To avoid the sun's light. This made Mary laugh and think about how adorable the young lady is. She went beside her and patted her shoulder to wake her up. But Yerre was still unbothered and continued to sleep. Mary sighed and went to pull the blanket away from Yerre's head. She didn't mean to forcefully wake her up, but her masters were already waiting for their daughter in the dining room. She can't afford to make her miss delayed.

"Miss, it's time to wake up. The Lord and Madam are already waiting for you in the dining room, "Mary mentions but Yerre was still sleeping. She didn't hear her words even a bit. It was like there was an earphone in her ears, making Mary sigh again and give up trying to wake her up. She didn't have to force herself to wake up anymore. Mary just decided to face her masters and tell them that Lady Vendia was still soundly sleeping.

She went out to the room and closed the door, leaving Yerre peacefully sleeping again inside Lady Vendia's chamber. Not long after Mary went out, Yerre finally opened her eyes and blinked three times in a snail motion to make her vision clear and unblurred. She turned around and faced the ceiling. She yawns, while stretching her arms into the air, and so do her feet. She hadn't sat up in bed yet, but she was taking her time just staring at the ceiling, as if she was thinking about something.
