HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(THE NATURE OF TIME AND REST)

He didn't want to scare his younger brothers; he only wanted to lecture them and make them remember their limits in terms of words. Because sometimes other people are unaware of the words they are letting go to other people, which makes them stupefied when the people they had conversations with become angry at them.

So, as long as we have the means and knowledge about how to help other people, we need to stand up and help them be on the right path to sharing words with others without causing discomfort and unpleasantness.

As a result of this, his younger brother shifted his gaze to the ground, feeling scared to speak and ask further questions about Kayla. They all felt guilty. They didn't want to make Kayla feel that way. They were all just really curious and thinking deeply about her words.

But their elder brother is right: they should not have asked her questions about it. Because in the end, they really could not believe her words.

The room went quiet and everyone seemed to have an urge to talk again. The atmosphere is heavy and uncomfortable in the sense that you almost don't want to enter inside to join them.

But one of them couldn't take the silence and decided to speak up.

"Aish! There is no need to be overly sensitive, " Everyone looked at her, surprised and apprehensive. Her expressions were cheerful and fully energized.

Kayla stretched her hands up in the air, then stood up from her chair. She has finally fully regained her strength and energy back inside her body. She stretched her feet to the ground one at a time, feeling light and comfortable all over her body.

She couldn't help but release a light laugh upon feeling good and happy. She finally got back to her normal state.

She can now stand up with no feeling of numbness or heaviness inside her body. She didn't feel uneasea and dizzy anymore. Her eyeslids also felt light and not heavy. She didn't have those uncomfortable and uneasy feelings anymore. She's perfectly fully healed!

She couldn't help but exclaim in a higher pitch tone of voice while saying "YES" happily. Everyone around her couldn't help but chuckle. They find her actions not suitable for a woman to do are strange and funny. Is this the first time I've seen another woman make fun of herself?

They thought Alda was the only woman who could do those things like that, but it turned out there were other women who could also make funny movements and reactions to themselves.

After two hours, the tent once again turned quiet and calm. Everyone went to do their things separately. Alda was already awake and was now fully healed. Upon drinking a bitter herb that Mr. Mong and the others made out of the flower they had picked earlier. Mr. Mong had already checked her condition earlier and found no alarming things.

So Sir Arnold and his younger brother went to talk to her about the lamp condition as well as Kayla. She tells them everything that she found out earlier while she was casting the spell. She told them that the lamp was no longer on land but under the water. Everyone then looked at her in disbelief and shock. They didn't know what to say.

So if this woman didn't show up to help us find the lamp, we would have searched the land for decades.' they all thought. Alda and the others noted all the things that Kayla explained to them, while they listened to all her words. Kayla continued widening her explanation to all of them. She explained to them that they didn't have to worry about diving and searching for the lamp under the water because she had already put an invincible string that only she could see, leading to the lamp.

Hearing words brought relief and satisfaction into everyone's eyes, but it didn't take long for their expressions to change into something uneasy and filled with discomfort. They were all worried and thinking about who could go dive into the water to get the lamp. Because none of them know how to swim, they sure know how to fight and all, but their weakness is water.

Alda stared at them all and couldn't help but laugh. She had read what they were all thinking as well as Kayla, but she didn't laugh because she thought it was inappropriate. They were all still not fond of her, so she had better just control herself and not laugh, even if she wanted to, because they were only thinking differently about her. Kayla can't help but sigh at the thought and Alda heard it.

"Are you all right?" Alda asked, Kayla nodded and released a smile, but Alda still felt doubtful about her answer. So she looked straight at her for a second, making sure that she was not lying, then turned her gaze back to the others to resume their conversations.

"So none of you here know how to swim?" she asked. All the men look at her and nod. They didn't deny it. She nodded and sighed before she spoke to them again.

"In that case I will go. I know how to swim," she volunteer and turned her gaze back to Kayla.

"Is not that deep, right?" she added with a pressured expression. She sure knows how to swim, but her air is easy to lose too. She is not a professional swimmer after all. Alda is only a common swimmer. Kayla glanced at her and said,

"It is quite deep, but it's fine. I will find a spell that I can use so we can breathe inside the water with no problem."

"What do you mean? Are you going to swim too?" Alda asked, and Kayla nodded without a second thought.

"Yes, I know how to swim, and besides, I'm the only one who can see the string I linked to the lamp," she answered.

"Right, I almost forgot," Alda responded.

While they talk, everyone just looks at them, listening to all their words. Until they finished and got involved in their conversation again. But their conversation was cut short upon hearing Mr. Mong say that the sun was almost up. This made the two women shocked and worried that they immediately stood up from their chairs without finishing their conversations, making everyone stunned and concerned.

"We will finish our conversation later tonight when we come here again," Alda said, striding over to the bed to get her cloak and put it on to her body. Kayla was also preparing herself to leave. Everyone nodded at Alda's words, and they all went outside the tent. She thanked Mr. Mong and the others for their help as well as Kayla. After that, they then went to fix their things outside to get ready to leave and go back home.

When they were done, they then went to say their goodbyes to all of them. Alda looked up and saw that it was truly almost dawn. They needed to get back home before the sun rose, and before anyone noticed that they had gone out of the mansion.

Kayla and Alda were now sitting at the back of their horses, and they were now ready to set off to get back home. Sir Arnold, along with his brother and Mr. Mong, were just looking at them with a simple expression.

"We will visit again later," Alda said.

"En, you two take care of each other on the way," Sir Arnold responded, and Alda nodded.

Sir Arnold and his younger brother were not worried about them going back home without their protection anymore. Because there were now a few wolves patrolling the area, some of which had already returned to their lair, while others lingered to rest after a night of hunting.

All of the wolves were now calm and had completed their mission of finding meat for their packs to eat. The Astrod patrol knight has now gone back to the castle because the sun is almost rising above the sky. The area around the kingdom is now their top priority to protect.

The moon has now slowly closed its eyes to make the sun wake up and give a day that is filled with joy and warmth.

They sped up the pace of their horses as they rode back home in haste. Time is catching up with them, and they need to speed up a little more.

They passed through the town and saw some people had already woken up and were fixing their booth to put all their products on sale. This made Alda click her tongue in worry and annoyance.

They can't afford to slow down. They need to be back home before everyone wakes up. She gazed at Kayla and saw that she was already looking at her with worry. She released a laugh and said.

"You know what I mean already?"

Kayla smiled, but her worries could still be seen. Then she nodded. Alda's face then became serious and she turned back to the front. She held the horse reins tight and shouted at the top of her lungs. Demanding the horse to run faster.

"Yah!" She hit the side of the horse with her feet, and the horse immediately did her command. It runs faster than before. Kayla, on the other hand, follows her lead and does the same things to her horse.
