HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS

(I NEVER COMING DOWN)

"Let me check on her for a minute," The Physician speaks out his presence inside the room as Sir Aloit breaks the hug and moves away from Vendia for a minute.

"How are you feeling?" The Physician asks.

"I still feel hazy and weak, but I'm fine," Vendia answers, and the Physician nod, done checking up on her.

"How is she?" Sir Aloit asks.

"She is stable now, but she still needs to rest," The Physician reply, Sir Aloit deep sighs upon hearing that Vendia is fine now.

"Thank you," Sir Aloit thank him.

"Your welcome. I better go now. I still have another patient to look after too," The Physician mentions, and Sir Aloit nods.

"Mary, escort him outside," Sir Aloit demand to Mary as she nod and went to guide the Physician.

"How are you feeling now?" Sir Aloit went over to Vendia and sat beside her on the bed.

"I am fine now, Sir Aloit. I'm sorry for making you all worry," Vendia apologies.

"Don't be like that again, you hear me?" Sir Aloit demands, and Vendia giggled, then nod.

"Yes, I hear you, Sir Aloit," She answer.

"But, Sir Aloit," Vendia added, calling out to him.

"Hm? What is it?" Sir Aloit asks.

"I want to go home now," She answered.

"What?" Sir Aloit, surprised.

"I want to go home. I don't want to stay here for long because my anxiety will attack again. I can feel this place is bad for me," Vendia explains, and Sir Aloit looks at her, thinking.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes,"

"What about finding the person you want to see again?" Sir Aloit reminded her. Vendia thought of Sir Aloit's words for a while, then look at him, serious.

"It's okay. My health is all that I need for now," Vendia responds, smiling.

"I still want to be with you all for long," She added, and Sir Aloit smile back at her then nodded.

'Why she's saying those words like she is going to die,' Sir Aloit thought, worried.

"Okay, I will go downstairs to tell Mary to pack up all the things we bought earlier. You stay and rest. Let us take care of everything," Sir Aloit responds, standing out to the bed about to leave, but Vendia holds his right hand without warning.

"Vendia?" Sir Aloit looks at her, confused.

"Um..."

"Don't worry, that old woman can't touch your soul for now because I am protecting it. But once you get back inside my body, you must get back home right away, understand?" Yerre remembers Vendia's words, then lets go of Sir Aloit's right hand.

"Vendia?" Sir Aloit got worried as he sat back and looked at Vendia.

"S-sorry, I want to say that I-um thirsty," Vendia respond, stuttering.

"Oh, then. I will get you some downstairs I'll be right back," Sir Aloit reply.

"Thank you," Vendia respond as Sir Aloit then leave the room.

'I trust you, Vendia,' Yerre thought.

Sir Aloit went out of Vendia room then go downstairs to get drinking water for Vendia and meet Mary.

"Sir Aloit?" Mary called inside the kitchen.

"Oh, Mary. Pack up all the things we bought earlier and ask the coachman to put it inside the carriage," Sir Aloit instruct her.

"Huh? But why?" Mary asks, confused.

"Vendia wants to go home," Sir Aloit answer.

"Right now? But it's already night, and we just got here," Mary asks, surprised.

"I know, but I can sense something strange is going on," Sir Aloit suspicion.

"What do you mean, Sir Aloit?"

"The way she speaks to me, I can sense desperation and fear, but I don't know why. I need to figure it out, but for now, we need to leave because if this place causes it, then we need to go back home straight away," Sir Aloit answers.

"But, what about the person she wants to meet again?" Mary asks.

"She said not to worry about it," Sir Aloit answer.

"Okay, I understand," Mary replied.

"I need to go back upstairs to bring her some drinking water. I will go down to help you after I deliver this water to her,"

"Okay, Sir Aloit," Mary answer and then hurried on to do what Sir Aloit asks her to do.

Mary went to meet the coachman who's feeding a horse at the moment.

"Sir Den," She calls out for him, and Sir Den then turned around, holding a carrot on his right hand with a surprised expression.

"Mary," Sir Den responds.

"How's Lady Vendia?" He added, asking.

Sir Den, twenty-five years old, the Marquis coachman for almost fifteen years alongside his father, Mando.

"She is fine now," Mary replies as she went over to where he is standing.

"Oh, thank god. You need something from me?" Sir Den asks.

"Yes, Sir Aloit told me to pack up all the things we bought from the wet market earlier,"

"Huh? Why?"

"Because Lady Vendia want us to go back home today,"

"What? But why?"

"I don't know, Sir Aloit didn't state the reason," Mary answer doesn't want to share the words Sir Aloit share with her.

"Okay, what do you want me to do," Sir Den asks,

"Help me put the goods back to its places and bring it inside the carriage," Mary answer.

"Okay, let's go," Sir Den reply, as he gives the last carrot to the horse then went back inside the mansion together with Mary.

Knock

"Vendia?" Sir Aloit knocks on the door as he holds a glass full of drinking water into his left hand.

Knock

He knocks again because Sir Aloit didn't receive a response. Sir Aloit got worried, so he opened the door, dashing inside the room, not waiting for Vendia to reply.

"Vendia!" He shouts, anxious as he got inside the room, but then relaxes and sighs in relief when he saw Vendia only sleeping in peace on the bed.

'Oh, I'm glad, I thought something happened to you again,' Sir Aloit thought, putting the glass of water onto the table and went over to Vendia bed as he then sat beside her caressing her head while he looks down at her. Admiring the peaceful expression, Vendia showed when she sleeps.

"I can't forgive myself if the Marquis loses you again," Sir Aloit murmur breaking out the emotion he's been holding inside for a while now.

'I promise to him I will protect you all, and I will never run away to that promise I hold to your grandfather,'

"You have your grandfather's face when he fell asleep. Your grandfather was so stubborn that he left me with a heart full of guilt and regrets," Sir Aloit speaks all his hidden feelings.

"He asks me to give my heart to a woman when he dies, and I do, but I could not find happiness and peace because I can no longer feel his warmth," Sir Aloit added as tears fall into his face.

"Sir Aloit?" Vendia calls out to him as she woke up from her sleep.

"Vendia? Your awake..." Sir Aloit respond, surprised as he hurried on, wiping his tears away.

"Sir Aloit... are you crying?" Vendia asks, still sleepy.

"Sir Aloit... did you love my grandfather?" Vendia added, and Sir Aloit looks at her, shocked.

"Di-did you hear... what I..." Sir Aloit could not finish his sentence because of fear.

"Is okay, Sir Aloit, I understand. I won't judge you," Vendia gives assurance for her, but Sir Aloit still feels uncertain.

"Sir Aloit?"

"Yes, I love him as my best friend," Sir Aloit answer Vendia question a minute ago, denying his feelings for the late Marquis. Vendia deep sigh and smile at him.

"All right, I won't force you to tell me your true feelings towards my grandfather, but I hope you let go of the guilt and regrets that remain inside your heart, Sir Aloit and be happy," Vendia mentions as she went close to him and embraced him.

"Being selfish is not a sin. Sometimes you have to be selfish. So we won't hurt the people we don't want to be a burden from our past," Vendia added. Sir Aloit heard her advice and breakdown in front of her as he hugs her back.

"Miss?" Mary arrived inside the room got surprised by what she saw. Sir Aloit is crying in her arms.

"Shh..." Vendia shushes Mary.

[Wait for us outside and close the door without making a sound, okay?] Vendia added, mouthing her demand to Mary.

[Okay,] Mary answers as she then closes the door without making a sound and goes out to the room.

After thirty minutes, Sir Aloit then calms down and breaks the hug as he wipes his tears away, then smiles at Vendia.

"Thank you. I haven't cried a lot for years. The last time I cried a lot is when your grandfather dies," Sir Aloit mentions, and Vendia felt somehow sad for him.

"Sir Aloit, can I ask you something?" Vendia asks for permission.

"Go ahead," Sir Aloit permits.

"Did you love your wife?" Vendia mentions, and Sir Aloit looks at her with a loading expression.

"I don't," Sir Aloit confess.

"WHAT?" Vendia, shocked.

"I got married, but I didn't love her, and after three years, she died because of failure labor. She died alongside our premature son," Sir Aloit mentions, and Vendia felt pain for him.

"That..." Vendia got stunned, as she felt sad and pity for Sir Aloit.

"I still burden myself from it because I could not give what she wanted from me, and that is love. All my life, I only love one person until now," Sir Aloit confesses as tears flow out to his eyes again.

"And that is my grandfather, right?" Vendia finishes his sentence.

"I'm sorry, I know its wrong and is disgusting,"

"Why would that be wrong and disgusting? You only love. Why would that be wrong?" Vendia defends his words as she felt a rising anger awakening inside her.

"Vendia?" Sir Aloit looks at her, surprised, as his tears keep flowing into his cheeks.

"The only person who believes that is wrong is someone who doesn't believe in love and the person who doesn't want to be loved," Vendia mentions showing an angry expression towards Sir Aloit.

"PFT! HAHAHAHAHA," Sir Aloit laugh between his sobs because of Vendia.

"Eh? Why you laugh?" Vendia asks, disappointed.

"Jajaja, because you look like a fat chipmunk when you get so angry," Sir Aloit responds.

"Yah! I am serious here, Sir Aloit," Vendia replies, sulking.

"Jajaja, okay, okay, okay. I'm sorry, all right. Let's stop this drama and put your things to the carriage," Sir Aloit mentions.

"Right, we're going back home today,"

"Oh, you forgot?"

"Yeah,"

"Hahaha, all right, come on," Sir Aloit stood out from the bed and went to get Vendia things.

"Wait!" Vendia halts him.

"What is it?" Sir Aloit ask,

"Did my grandfather know you are in love with him?"

"No, because I didn't confess to him, and I don't want to ruin our friendship and bonds together," Sir Aloit answer and went to pick up her things.

"Oh... that is..."

"Come on, let's go downstairs," Sir Aloit calls out to her. Vendia then looks at him and nods with a sad feeling for Sir Aloit.
