Help! I'm In Love With A Liar

"Where are we?'' I enquired, looking outside the window, bemused.

"Don't worry; we are at the backside of your college. Not many people use this path. I just thought it will give me two more minutes to spend with you." he replied looking intensely in my eyes, again.

I couldn't believe myself. I cheeks were flushing again. Why was this guy having such a strong impact on me? Something like that was happening for the first time with me. I struggled to find proper words to reply him. So finally I decided that I'll not reply and a smile would suffice. I again pretended to look outside the window. This was making me really very self-conscious. I kept pondering, was I imagining things or was he doing it purposely to me? Even if he was doing it explicitly, he was the first guy who was succeeding in his attempts.

"What's Fratelli?" I questioned.

He chuckled at my question.

"It's a red wine. She has the same color. Hence Fratelli," he responded ardently.

"Oh right. I don't know much about liquor. Just tried it once, with my sister," I shrugged.

"Really?" he looked at me, astonished.

Finally the ride ended and I hurriedly pulled out of the car, wishing him farewell.

As I reached the hostel and entered my room everybody was waiting for me. Chunhua, Biyu and Changying were having a very serious discussion. I entered the room and a sudden storm of questions hit me.

"Hey! Where were you?" Chunhua questioned, sounding edgy.

"Were you with Wang all this while?" Biyu interrogated.

"You both suddenly vanished. We looked for you guys all over. Where did you guys go?" added Changying.

"Relax guys. I needed to sort out things with Wang and after that we looked for you guys all over. You guys had left, so Wang dropped me back," I exasperated.

I could sense concern in Chunhua and Changying's voice but resentment in Biyu's voice. I did not like her contemptuous tone.

"Yes, I told you Biyu, I was with him. Why are you behaving like this?" I confronted furiously.

Biyu mellowed down a bit, "nothing I just got worried for you. That's it!"
