Help! I'm In Love With A Liar
Chapter 14:Great Understanding!
We finished our meals and I called up Wang.
"Hi beautiful," said Wang excitingly.
"Hi," I replied.
His voice itself melted my heart and dissipated my frustration.
"It's been so long, we didn't talk," he said ecstatically.
I could not help but chuckle at this.
"But Wang, it only took me thirty minutes to finish my dinner," I ridiculed.
"Yeah, I know and those thirty minutes seemed to be thirty hours to me," he said, sounding very genuine.
"That is so sweet," I blushed.
I forgot why I had called him up.
We knew that this can't just go on forever and eventually we will have to tell the truth to everybody. But, Wang insisted that we should give it some more time. Even I was not in any haste to tell anybody, anything.
Another two months passed and things continued to be the same way. I did fairly well in the semester exams and to my surprise, I scored quite well in economics even after bunking so many of my coaching classes. I developed a stronger bond with Biyu. We used to spend quit a lot of time together and even studied collectively for exams. I started liking her company even more. She was this one person, who I could talk to for long hours. We had so many things in common and somehow understood each other very well.
It was Chunhua, who was going through a tough time from past two months. Her parents got to know about her boyfriend Chang, through her mobile bills and they were furious. She later confessed to her parents about him and they got pissed off and even refused to send her back to the hostel. After many pleadings, she came back on the conditions that she was not allowed to keep a cell phone and not allowed to go out of the hostel, without their official permission.
