When Kang Haon arrived on Earth, the first magic he used was to find his wife through the hair.

Instead of Han Binna, the owner of the hair, he discovered Narae, who was the most genetically similar.

Narae is currently living in an orphanage. That meant Han Binna had left the world. It had been 50 years on Gea, but only 5 years on Earth.

“Can’t I be with Narae if I don’t respond?”

Sister Margaret shrugged.

“However, I will do everything in my power to stop it; if someone who ran away irresponsibly turns out to be Narae’s biological father, I cannot simply let it go.”

Sister Margaret’s expression, which had been patient until now, became resolute.

Kang Haon was relieved to see that. He could tell Sister Margaret had taken good care of Narae while he and Han Binna were away.

Kang Haon began to open up to Sister Margaret about his experiences. He continued speaking despite her expressions of surprise.

He told her that he had lived in Gea for 50 years and had traveled through dimensions just to see his beloved wife, Han Binna.

“You might find it difficult to believe?” Kang Haon asked Sister Margaret after he finished telling his story.

“You’ve been through a lot,” Sister Margaret said, wiping her teary eyes and offering words of comfort.

“Do you really believe me?” Kang Haon inquired, taken aback by her actions. He didn’t sense any falsehood in her actions.

“Yes, I do,” Sister Margaret nodded. She understood why Kang Haon had no knowledge of the awakened concept or the paternity test kit.

His knowledge was still stuck in the time before the concept of gates and abilities emerged.

“I don’t understand why you believe my story so easily,” Kang Haon said.

“Not only me, but anyone else who hears your story will believe everything you say, though some details may vary from person to person,” Sister Margaret said, wiping away her tears and explaining everything that had happened on Earth during Kang Haon’s five-year disappearance, including everything about gates, abilities, and hunters.

“Ah…” After hearing her words, Kang Haon began to understand everything that had previously seemed strange to him.

“That’s why Narae mistook the magic I used to clean her clothes for a type of ability, believing I was an awakened.”
