HOTD: Legacy

A/N: I am again going to say that I don't support drinking and smoking, I did that in the story just for fun.

Nick and his harem are no longer humans so smoking and drinking don't hurt their bodies. If you compare this with real-life than I am sorry to say you are wrong. This is a fictional world with fictional characters so it doesn't have any connection real life or some stuff.

"Nick, I have to go. I am receiving quite a few souls from this world. I need to go and take care of mt realm" Ashley said before getting up. She then bid farewell to Saya, Soichiro, and Yuriko before disappearing into thin air. Yuriko finally spoke up "Uhm... are these people really dead?" Nick looked at her and sighed "Yes and no. For anything to be completely alive you need to have a soul but these 'things' don't have their souls. So they dead but since they are still moving then they are still alive. I think it is better to call them undead" Nick said. Both Soichiro and Yuriko nodded in understanding.

"Papa, I have given it some thought, and I think that we should move away from this place" Saya spoke up. Soichiro and Yuriko both raised their eyebrows when they heard that. "Saya-chan, why do you think that?" Soichiro asked. "Papa, we don't have enough resources here and this is the residential area we can't even easily gather resources here. This is the first point" Saya spoke up seriously. "So, what about the other reasons?" This time Yuriko spoke up. "This is the residential area so it is obvious that huge numbers of people lived here. So, we would also be surrounded by a huge number of 'them'. This is the center of the residential area we would definitely be surrounded by the sooner or later. They are attracted by the noise and we have so many people staying here so it is obvious that zombies would start to show up near the barricades." Saya answered her mother.

Saya still continued to speak up "Even if we barricade ourselves tightly and no zombies fail to enter this place we would eventually die due to starvation" by each sentence Yuriko kept getting paler and paler and Soichiro held his chin in thoughts. "I agree that we didn't think it like that" Yuriko said. "So, Saya do you have any place we can go to?" Soichiro asked the most important question of the moment. All of them started to think deeply. "How about the airport? I mean it is fortified, have many resources which people would die to get hands-on them later in this continues." Yuriko said. "I have heard that a General has made a base just outside the city on the other side, why don't we go there?" Soichiro asked. "I don't think we should do that, have to cross the whole city and naturally we have to face more zombies. I am certain in my abilities that I will be able to kill all the normal ones without any casualties but if any kind of evolved zombies shows up then there will be casualties. And if we decided to go there while going around the city we will simply start to get casualties due to lack of resources." Nick said and both the older Takagi nodded.

"There will be another problem, as we already knew that this isn't an isolated event so the chain of commands will be in chaos. The general there has military power which is the most important thing now so it will be total anarchy there and we don't know what kind of rules they would implement. It will be better if we use our people and group to make our own base" Saya pointed out. Both the older Takagi went deep into their thoughts and nodded in understanding. After that, both Saya and Nick left the room. "Saya-chan, you keep your title as a true genius" Nick broke the ice. "Hump... what do you take me for?" Saya harumphed in pride. "Haha... I am just glad that everything worked out finally" Saya again said. "I am sorry for how I treated your parents at first, they are also my family now." Nick said to Saya in complete honesty. "And also forgive my mom, she sometimes goes into God Almighty mode due to her lack of interaction with mortals" Nick again said to Saya just stood silently and understood what he was saying.

Saya grabbed Nick's shirt and pulled him towards her and smashed her lips on his. Only after a few minutes, she let him go. Saya finally spoke up "It's ok now, let's go Saeko-chan and Shizuka-chan must be waiting for you" After that, both went to Nick's room and started to chat.

Later all of them were invited to have dinner, on the way Nick met with Rei, Takashi, and Kohta. "Where are the others?" Nick asked them. "Kazu found his parents and decided to stay with them, he said fighting isn't for him. Misuzu is also with her parents but her father was turned into one of 'them', she will come back. Toshimi is also with her parents fortunately she didn't lose anyone and she also decided to stay in our group. Maresato-san is having dinner with Alice-chan" Rei gave the whole report. Nick nodded "Ok, good." After that all of them entered the dining hall and a small feast was made or something similar to that.

After dinner Soichiro asked Nick to stay back so he could speak with him. Saya was also in the room along with Yuriko. "So what did you wanted to speak about?" Nick asked. "We have decided to change our base. I am telling you this because I will like to request you and your group's help." Soichiro said. "To tell you honestly, I am not even sure now if I would stay here or make a separate group" Nick said with a voice which showed that he was truly confused. Saya grabbed his hand under the table to show her support. "Look, I am also going to be honest with you here, we need your help I know my group might be able to complete this relocation plan but not without zero casualties" Soichiro said. Nick went deep into thoughts about this and decided to give it a try and having manpower will be obviously helpful in the future. "Ok, I will help you. I have some vehicles and weapons in my storage space which will definitely be beneficial for the whole group" Nick said and both Soichiro and Yuriko nodded happily. They were seriously in need of weapons and vehicles. They had some vehicles but they didn't have enough to accommodate the number of peoples they saved.

They decided to call it a day so that they could start making preparations to leave soon towards their new base. Nick and Saya left the room and went to their own room and decided to sleep but unfortunately, Saeko and Shizuka had some other plans. They entered the room and found Saeko and Shizuka laying on the bed wearing only their underwear.

The next day four of them woke up late due to their late-night bedroom exercises. After they got freshened up they left the room to stretch their bodies. Nick found Yuriko standing outside the mansion doing inventory. Nick went to talk to her "Mother why don't we head towards the garage so I can take out the vehicles". Yuriko nodded and led him and the girls towards the garage. Nick reached the place and saw that there were not many people were around. Nick raised his hands and all the five vehicles appeared by his side. Yuriko and their men were shocked and fascinated to see these huge vehicles appear out of thin air. "I am lending you stuff, don't think that I am handing these over to you, mother" Nick said in a voice which didn't leave a place for any argument. "Don't worry, I wouldn't do that" Yuriko said and called some men to check the vehicles.

All of them returned to the front of the mansion and saw a man which Nick didn't want to see again. Koicho Shido was standing there with his group talking with Soichiro. Some students noticed Nick and started to point towards him. Suddenly a bright light erupted in the sky. Each and everyone present present there forgot what they were doing and looked above. "Oh shit, more problems are going to come now" Nick said. "What was that?? And what do you mean?" Yuriko asked Nick with worry clear on her face. "That was a Nuke going off in the stratosphere frying all the electrical appliances, mother ask your men to check the vehicles and we need to leave this place as soon as possible" Nick answered her. Yuriko immediately gave orders to her men and went to Soichiro to tell about this.

"Girls gather our group, we need to leave this place" Nick told them and he himself walked away towards his Range Rover to check it's status.
