HOTD: Legacy

Nick was sitting near a barricade looking at how the people were protesting against the Takagi Family. He just chuckled seeing that 'They decided to save these men instead of their own daughter and this is how they pay them back. Serves them right I guess.' Luci and his mothers always taught him that family was important and nothing can be compared to that. Nick knew that his parents could go to any lengths to protect their families others be damned. He took a whiff of his cigarette watching these people squirm against each other. Nick sensed someone coming towards him and saw that it was Saeko.

Saeko came and sat beside him and started poking him, he knew what she wanted. He took out a cigarette and gave it to her. "Still thinking about the Takagi's?" Saeko asked him after lighting the cigarette. "You can say that" Nick told her and before he could say anything more Shizuka showed up while humming a song like usual. He gave her a cigarette too then started to tell about what his parents have taught him. Their beliefs and values, everything. Nick was seriously confused as of now he just can't give up on all his beliefs in one day. "They are humans, they are limited by that I guess" Saeko told him. "Then I will be a freak any day, anytime" Nick told them. Both the girls smiled hearing that and kissed him passionately one by one. They were interrupted when they heard someone clearing their throat. Nick and the girls turned around to see Saya was glaring at them.

"Saya-chan, I am sorry about how I treated your mom, I would try to control my emotions from next time" Nick said while Saya just sat beside them. "But you are still aren't going to forgive her, right?" Saya asked him and Nick looked conflicted. "I understand what you are saying and thinking. But I still love them" Saya spoke up. "I am not asking you to leave them or stop loving them but I am not going to forgive them. Family & Friends are the only things you should care about and others be damned" Nick told Saya with complete seriousness which left no room for an argument. Saya understood how serious he was "Come on enough of this, let's show you guys your room" Saya said thinking of changing the topic.

(A/N: Nick is acting like that because Yuriko was able to send men after him before but didn't send anyone to look for her daughter when her daughter needed them most. They decided to save strangers to earn goodwill from them. This is what Nick is thinking about Saya's parents if they didn't hold so much power and went to become Messiah to these strangers he wouldn't have said anything)

She got up being followed by the three of them. She showed them a room and was about to leave "Arent you going to stay with us~?" Shizuka asked Saya. "I can't, I will be staying with mama" Saya said while looking down and walked away before closing the door. "So what are we doing?" Nick asked both of them. Both the girls took a thinking pose. "How about strip poker~?" Shizuka said still deep in thoughts. It was obvious that they locked the room and it ended up being a threesome.

Nick was woken up when he heard someone knocking on the door, he woke up both Saeko and Shizuka. Nick got up and used magic to clean the room and the three of them. After that, he used magic to dress the three of them in an instant. Nick opened the door and saw it was some guy who gave him a message that Soichiro-sama wants to meet them. Nick didn't mind much because he already understood what kind of people the Takagi's were. He told the girls to wait for him to return and followed the guy. The guy led him to an office and opened the door for him. Nick entered the room and saw a man was sitting on a chair behind a table and Yuriko stood beside him and Saya was standing on the other side.

The man gestured Nick to sit so he did. The man spoke up "My name is Soichiro Takagi, thank you for saving my daughter" Soichiro spoke up but Nick didn't answer him. "What I heard from my daughter and wife you don't hold us high regard but you are still young to understand" Nick still didn't answer. Nick just looked at Saya's face who was pleading him with her eyes. Nick saw that if he continues this then only his and Saya's relation will suffer and he won't gain anything. He just needed to answer them he didn't need to forgive them. "I accept your gratitude" Nick tried to say more but inside his mind, it was a complete chaos. One side was saying to lash out and other was saying to treat his in-laws nicely so Saya doesn't have to suffer. But finally, the side won which wanted to treat Saya's parents nicely. "*sigh* we might not have a good start but I am willing to at least treat you nicely" Nick spoke up. The three of them smiled when they heard that.

"So why did you call me here? I don't think that will be only for thanking for saving your daughter" Nick said. "You are quite perceptive" Soichiro said while pouring a glass of whiskey. Nick took the glass and sipped from it "I want to know how were you able to get here? My wife didn't see any weapon in your group" Soichiro asked him. Nick just looked at several from on the table and they rose up in the air "I have some superpowers as you can see" both Soichiro and Yuriko were completely shocked to see that. "Wait, you said some?" Yoriko asked him looking confused. Nick raised his hand and a beer bottle appeared in it. "I can do this too" after saying that the bottle disappeared. Soichiro and Yuriko's jaws were already on the floor.

After sometime Saya's parents were able to get back their bearings. "I heard what you think about me and my husband from Busujima-san and I am not going to make any excuse for whatever we did" Yuriko spoke up while looking down. Nick decided to change the topic "Have your group encountered any evolved zombies?". Both Soichiro and Yuriko shook their heads, "You should tell you, men, to keep their ears open. If they hear growling or something similar to that then they should back away" Nick told them and after that Saya started telling the changes they have seen in the evolved zombie they have killed. "There can be other kinds of evolved zombies too" Nick told them and both of Saya's parents nodded in understanding.

"Mama, Papa, I want to say something" Suddenly Saya spoke up. "I am in a relationship with Nick here" as soon as Saya finished that sentence both the parents started to glare at Nick but he was unaffected. "I don't approve of you" Soichiro said. The next moment the room was filled with an unknown pressure "Why don't you approve my son?" A woman with full-body tattoos appeared out of thin air. Both Soichiro and Yuriko gawked at the person's sudden appearance. Saya was looking embarrassed because she knew who this woman was, Saeko and Shizuka had told her about their mother in-law's appearance. Soichiro and Yuriko immediately knew that this wasn't a normal person.

"Mom, why did you show up here? I was talking to them" Nick said to her mom. "A.. my baby boy has grown up so much" Ashley said while embarrassing Nick. "Your mom brought your favorite sake" Ashley handed him a bottle of sake and then looked back to Soichiro and Yuriko. "Who are you mortals to judge my son?" Ashley spoke up in an authoritative voice. "You mere mortals should be grateful that you are sitting in the same room with my son" Ashley spoke up releasing her power. Soichiro and Yuriko were completely pale and were cowering in fear. "Mom...!! You went to God Almighty mode!!" Nick shouted. Ashley stopped releasing her power and looked at the two cowering humans in the room. "Oh... oops my bad. Why don't we talk like civil people" both the humans nodded in agreement.

After another hour "So you are Lady Death?" Yuriko asked. "For the hundredth time yes" Ashley said annoyed. "Oh... sorry. We never thought we would meet Death before our time comes" Soichiro said. "So, our daughter is already your son's wife and she has become an immortal?" Yuriko asked. "Yes mama" Saya said, both Soichiro and Yuriko sighed in defeat. "I guess we can do nothing more about that, we bless you" Soichiro said "Just don't corrupt my daughter" Yuriko said but Saya got embarrassed when she heard her mother's request. Both Soichiro and Yuriko understood what has happened and again sighed "Just keep our daughter happy" both Soichiro and Yuriko said together. "Just give me grandbabies to spoil before we die" Yuriko said and this made Saya blush like a storm.

"Thank you mother, father" Nick said looking at both Soichiro and Yuriko.
