The woman lunged towards Shion who stood there completely frozen and terrified, Kohta reacted fast and started to shoot at the woman but she remained unfazed, the zombie's claws were about to reach Shion's face but were stopped before that. The zombie started to scream and squirm and its screeching became louder. The next moment the head of the zombie was ripped apart.

Kohta: What kind of zombie is this?

No one answered him, Shion's leg gave up and dropped on the ground. Her whole body was shaking in fear. She almost jumped when she felt someone place a hand on her shoulder, she screamed but when she looked that it was Nick, she calmed down. She immediately jumped and hugged Nick and started to cry. Misuzu and Toshimi slightly glared at the mature woman but didn't mind it since they weren't in a relationship with Nick.

Both of them looked over to Saeko who didn't have any special reaction, Saeko was checking the zombie. Asami didn't know what to do, she was looking over her senpai one moment and the next moment she glanced over Kohta. After sometime Shion left Nick's embrace who was patting her back to calm her down.

Shion: Thank you for saving my life.

Shion murmured but it was loud enough for Nick and Saeko to hear. Nick took out a water bottle from his storage and handed it over to Shion. She grabbed the bottle and drank water to calm herself.

Saeko: Long claws, yellow glowing eyes, uses crying and wailing to attract survivors, would attack anyone who would disturb her… let's call it a Witch.

Nick: Good thinking Saeko-chan. Now if anyone of you hears crying like this avoid that place until I reached there. Kohta-san almost pumped 5 bullets in its head and it still didn't die so as of now think that this thing cannot be killed by bullets.

Everyone nodded including Shion, after that they went further and inside and reached a locked door. Shion took out a key and opened the door, behind the door were racks of weapons. Kohta's eyes started to shine.

Nick: Kohta, inventory all the weapons here including the bullets. Misuzu, Toshimi, and Asami help him.

The four of them nodded and Kohta rushed inside squealing in joy. He started to check all the weapons.

Nick: Are you ok?

Shion: Yes, I am fine now but I don't want to feel that again… never again in my life.

Saeko: It was really fast, even I didn't think that it would be so fast.

Nick: Yes… but Kohta acted really fast and took the shot but still, the Witch was unfazed.

Shion: I don't think that humans are supposed to come out alive… whatever this is.

Nick: Don't be like that, humans are known to grow and become accustomed to new situations.

Shion: If you weren't here today, maybe none of us would leave this place alive.

Nick: Cheer up, you are alive now enjoy that.

Saeko started to poke Nick, Nick knew the meaning of that so he handed her a cigarette. Shion wanted to stop Saeko since she was still a school student but one glare from Saeko made her think otherwise. After sometime Kohta came back with a list and handed it over to Nick.

Nick found another thing on the list which made him squint his eyes. It was a bullet assembly machine for 9mm bullets. If this works then they wouldn't need to care about bullets of revolvers. They also got a huge amount of raw materials for the bullet assembly machine.

Nick: Does this thing work?

Asami: Yes, senpai could easily use it.

Nick: Good, nice haul.

Nick entered the room and stored everything inside his storage space. Nick then left the room and was about to go upstairs but was stopped by Shion.

Shion: Since we are here why don't we check the storage of confiscated stuff, we could found some more guns there.

Nick nodded and followed Shion, they came in front of another locked metal door. Shion didn't have the key for this room so Nick just ripped apart the door.

Nick: All of you go inside and check for weapons and if you find something bring them to me.

All of them entered the room and started to look through the room, they found some guns and some melee weapons and brought them to Nick who stored them inside his storage space. They all went upstairs and started to look throughout what more stuff they could use. Suddenly Misuzu called every one, apparently Misuzu has found the radio room.

Nick: Good job Misuzu, anyone knows how to use this?

Both Shion and Asami shook their heads in denial, Nick stored the radio in his storage along with all the equipment in the room. All of them left the Police Station and decided to return to the shopping mall. They entered the vehicle and drove back to the shopping mall.

After some time they reached the shopping mall, they have already cleared the mess which Nick made before leaving. Nick and the others saw the burning pile of bodies at the sides. Nick parked the car and exited the vehicle along with others. Nick found Soichiro and Yuriko inside the mall.

Nick: Come with me we need to talk.

Nick said seriously, both of them nodded and followed Nick. They reached a meeting room of some kind and sat down. Saeko and Shion both followed Nick, which he didn't mind.

Soichiro: So… did you find the weapons?

Nick: We found weapons but we found something else too.

After that Nick told them about the Witch, both Soichiro and Yuriko turned completely pale after hearing what Nick and Saeko told them.

Soichiro: This is really disturbing…

Nick: We need to make the airport our permanent base soon since we will be only fighting zombies from one side.

Yuriko: We had already finished loading all the resources, we could leave today.

Shion: Can I say something?

Nick: Of course, this is not an anarchy.

Shion: There is a hospital nearby, it would be nice that we take all the stuff there before we leave this place.

Nick: Hmm… I didn't think of this since we would be making a permanent base we would be needing medical supplies.

Yuriko: Yes, I will gather a team and send them immediately.

Nick: No need, I will be going. Do you have any doctors in the survivors? We have Shizuka but her knowledge would be limited since she is only a nurse.

Yuriko: Yes… we have two doctors.

Nick: Good… tell them that we would be leaving.

Soichiro: That would be quite hard… they wouldn't have left the vehicles if you didn't scare them.

Nick: I had enough of this shit… the world has to turn into shit so everyone has to earn their own food. Nothing has value except food, so I won't be keeping any freeloaders. If they don't work they can say goodbye to food.

Soichiro: We can't do that, Yuriko say something.

Yuriko: No… I agree with Nick here. We don't have an unlimited supply of food, we can't support all these freeloaders, they have to work for food.

Nick: Mother, tell them that if they go with me then they don't have to worry about food anytime soon.

After saying that Nick, Saeko, and Shion left the room. Though Shion didn't completely agree with Nick, but she knew that what Nick said was completely right. They cannot support the freeloaders for their whole life. They need to work for their food.

Nick: Saeko-chan, can you call Shizuka-chan, Kohta-san, and Asami-san?

Saeko nodded and went away. Nick looked towards Shion who still didn't leave his side.

Nick: After what you went through, do you still want to come with us?

Shion: I feel safer by your side now.

Nick: Is that a confession?

Shion blushed and looked away.

Shion: N-No, nothing like that.

Nick: I was just kidding Shion-san, but if you stay by my side I can guarantee to keep you safe.

Shion: I know that.

Nick: There is going to be more shit we would see in the future…
