POV (Nick)

I got down from the APC and saw that everyone was looking at the APC with greed clear in their eyes. Mayne I should play with them. I touched the APC and stored it inside by space, this shocked everyone present. After a few moments a middle aged man was able to break out of stupor and cam towards me.

???: Hello my name is Kurokiba Raiga and I am this base's owner. You can call me Raiga.

He said while extending his hands towards me. I accepted the gesture and shook his hand.

Nick: It's nice to meet you too... my name is Nickolas Morningstar, I prefer Nick more though.

Raiga: Ooh... so your base in named after you... It seems that you guys have raided the military base...

Nick: That I did... those weapons were just sitting there gaining rust as you see...

Raiga: Hahaha... true true... who might she be?

Raiga asked gesturing towards Saeko who was looking around.

Nick: She is my wife... Saeko Morningstar.

Hearing that I was introducing her Saeko decides to introduce herself.

Raiga: Oohhh... it is nice to meet you Mrs. Morningstar.

Saeko: Likewise Raiga-dono...

Raiga: Hahaha... Nick... you seem to be far from home. You must be sad by all that is happening here unable to go home, right?

Nick: Nothing like that... I only family I have in this world are my wives.

Raiga: ...Ahahah... boy... no no sorry man... you are man among men.

Nick: You seem to be quite different from what I have imagined, well you are quite different from a typical Yakuza...

Raiga: Why don't we chat while looking around what do you say?

Nick: I am fine with it. It seems that my wife also wants to look around...

I look towards Saeko who was looking around curiously, maybe being a new place has awaken her curiosity.

Raiga: Well many people has this impression over me and it is quite understandable... what you had thought is the common image of us, I just managed my area so that everyone have their livelihood without any problems. That is the reason I have unending loyalty of all my men...

Nick: I understand...

Saeko: Are those women what I think they are?

Saeko pointed towards a group of women who were playing mini golf while only wearing underwear.

Raiga: Yes they are... they were under my management for this long so that they can run their business in peace. Many of them had troubling past which led them to this profession. And if you are thinking that I somehow forced them then to sell themselves then you are wrong... they are currently giving their services for food. There is no free food in this world as you know...

Saeko: I see...

Nick: All around if I have to say you have a nice base here Raiga.

Raiga: But it is nothing compared to your base... even if I haven't seen it but I have seen enough... but as a leader I don't want to be under someone... you are a leader too... you will understand I guess.

Nick: Of course I understand... your base is quite nice but I have to ask what is status of your food storage.

Raiga was hesitating a moment then decided to answer. I understand his worries so I am not going to pressure him.

Raiga: Enough for 1 month... we are planning for a raid in a few days.

Nick: Oh... is that so... then I want to warn about something. Saeko-chan, can you give me that...

Saeko rummages through her shirt and pulls out a small diary. Raiga was first confused when he accepted the diary. I gestured him to open it. He opened it and started to read, usual reaction I have to say. First they start shaking then their eyes keep getting wider, by each moment turn more and more pale. While he was studying the diary I decided to have a smoke. I gave Saeko one and lit one myself. I would have offered one to Raiga but he seems quite... invested right now.

Raiga: Is this true?? Why didn't your group previously gave me this?

He closed the diary and asked me, his hands were clenched tight. I offered him a cigarette which he accepted.

Nick: As you can see this is still under works and someone from my group is the writer or author if you have to say so I naturally got one and I have no reason to lie to you... we may not be friends but we are also not enemies.

Raiga: If this is true then I might have to reconsider joining your base... don't be mistaken safety for my people is my first priority even if it means that I have to follow someone else.

Saeko: Don't you have someone with superpower?

Raiga: Yes... but he has limitations too... I was informed that your main reason for coming here is meeting him... so let's go.

Raiga was still shaking and face was still slightly white. We entered the mansion and entered a room very cold. A man was sitting on the chair while reading a p.o.r.n magazine. Thank Death this bastard wasn't jerking himself off. I looked towards Saeko who still had the obedient housewife look on her face. She has a good poker face... f.u.c.k this must be the reason she keeps winning at strip poker. I looked away from her and for a single moment my eyes turned completely black. I checked the man for his power and instantly I had all my answers.

Raiga: What the hell are you reading Jin!!! I told you guests are coming... f.u.c.k at least lock the door you bastard.

Raiga said and kicked the man whose name was Jin.

Jin: Gah...!! F.u.c.k you bastard... don't think that I won't tell your wife what you hide under the mattress.

Raiga: You wouldn't dare...

Jin: Try me...

Raiga: Fine... you tell my wife and I tell your lover about your mistress.

Jin: Don't you dare...

I decided it was enough, I knew from their expressions that none of them were serious and actually they were friends.

Nick: Ahem... If you ask me then I have to say both of look best friends.

Raiga/Jin: This f.u.c.ker is not my best friend.

Nick: Oohhh... such synchronized. You weren't looking a straight p.o.r.n mag then I would have thought that you both swing that way...

Raiga/Jin: Batard we are straight, we don't swing that way...

Saeko: Ahem... I think thats enough fun for now... we have some important matters to discuss now.

Raiga: True. Nick, meet Jin Mashiro the person with superpower in our camp.

Nick: It's nice to meet you Mashiro-san.

Jin: Ah... call me Jin, everyone does that. If someone suddenly starts to call me Mashiro-san then it will make me feel uneasy.

Nick: Fine... Jin. So can you show me your power, I am quite interested.

Even if I knew everything I wanted him to show me his power. Suddenly he opened his palm and a fire ball appeared in his hands. The next moment the the fireball extinguished and he closed his palm.

Nick: Oohh... nice nice.

Jin: So what's your power it is only fair that you show yours.

Quite fair... A cartoon of beer suddenly appeared in by hands which shocked both Raiga and Jin. Even if Raiga saw my power before it seems it is still shocking to him. I dropped the cartoon and used my telekinesis to make the cartoon float towards them. I gestured them to take one bottle. I took out three more chairs and sat down followed by Saeko and Raiga.

Jin: So you have two powers?

Raiga: I like this... talk over drinks. Does the temperature bothers you?

Nick: No, not in the slightest.

Saeko: This seems to be one of your limitations, right?

Jin: That it is... if I use my power for a long time then my body would heat up and I would have to come here to cool down, if I use my powers lightly then nothing like this is needed.

Nick: Oh... it is still impressive.

The four of us sat and took a beer bottle and cheered together. Jin isn't an original esper, people who have special genes which give them powers. Neither he is sent by some God to enjoy life here with a system. He is a simple man with something inside his body which let's him control this power. This something seems similar to the T-virus. Saya has told me that if it suits someone then it can give superpowers to that person. So he one such person.

Raiga: So Nick would you mind if I call others here so we can dicuss about the proposition about moving into your base?

Jin: Why don't we do it outside... in 6 minutes I would be normal.

Raiga: Or we can do that... relaxing under sunshine with beer is nice.

Nick: Of course I would like that too...
