I Am Immortal

Chapter 103: Too much decree!

  Chapter 103 Supreme Edict!

Can you know the Four Noble Truths?

  How could you not know?

That was the rare exhortation given by the Buddha when he briefly appeared under the bodhi tree.

The pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata in the Buddha's light lowered his eyes, and replied almost instinctively: "My Buddhist Four Noble Truths are called the origin of suffering and the elimination of Tao."

   "How could I not know?"

Qi Wuhuo asked: "Does the master think that your path does not violate the original Four Noble Truths?"

Pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata replied: "Naturally so."

The young Taoist stretched out his hand and asked, "Then, what is the truth of suffering?"

Pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata seems to be a rare person who can discuss with him, so he said gently:

"There are three sufferings and eight sufferings in the truth of suffering in life. I don't know what the Taoist asked?"

Qi Wuhuo asked, "What are the three sufferings?"

Pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata couldn't help smiling: "It seems that the Taoist priest is going to test the poor monk."

"The three sufferings are the greatest suffering, divided into suffering, suffering of destruction, and suffering of practice."

The young Taoist asked gently: "What is suffering?"

The old monk smiled: "There are many monks, and there are many classics to describe this state, but from the old monk's point of view, it is just [anguish while suffering], if you are injured, if you accidentally fall, your body is cut by a sharp knife , isn't it painful at this time?"

  Qi Wuhuo nodded: "It's painful."

The old monk said again: "Bad suffering, there are also countless classics and countless annotations, all of which are boring and tedious nonsense."

"The meaning of bad suffering refers to [the pain at the end of enjoying happiness]."

"Youth is fleeting, youth is gone, happy years are always short, and it is precisely because of enjoying happiness that I feel that the loneliness afterwards is unbearable. Isn't it painful at this time?"

  Qi Wuhuo said: "It's painful."

Pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata said: "Then when there is pain, it is painful, and when happiness ends, it will also be painful because of happiness."

"Peering suffering is the pain dominated by the law of natural changes in the remaining time, neither suffering nor joy."

   "The eight sufferings."

"Birth is suffering, old age is suffering, sickness is suffering, death is suffering, not getting what you want is suffering, meeting hatred and hatred is suffering, love and separation are suffering, and the five skandhas are suffering."

He explained the meaning of these eight sufferings to the young Taoist in front of him one by one.

The young Taoist either meditated, or nodded, all agreeing, and said, "That's right."

Finally, the five yins are full of suffering, what is the five yins? Said:

"That is what the [Prajna Heart Sutra] of [Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva] said, form, feeling, thought, action, consciousness, and the five aggregates are all suffering."

"What does the Taoist think about this truth of suffering?"

The young Taoist nodded and agreed: "The description is very complete. From this point of view, there will indeed be a lot of suffering."

"The person who articulated the meaning of this truth of suffering must have seen many things, right?"

Fu asked curiously again: "Then what is [Ji Di]?"

The pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata then replied: "[Ji Di] is all desires, and it is the cause of many sufferings gathered together, so it is called [Ji Di]. Anxiety], and [Thinking Confusion Eighty-One Anxiety]..."

When he was talking about this, he suddenly saw the young Taoist opposite him smiling slightly.

So he stopped and asked: "What's wrong with what the old monk said, which made the Taoist priest laugh?"

The young Taoist stopped his smile for a moment, cupped his hands and said, "Poverty, Qi Wuhuo."

Pharmacist Liuli Guangrui understood, couldn't help laughing and said: "Qi Wuhuo, Jianhuo has eighty-one troubles."

"The old monk may want to see you."

“I once saw the Buddha’s brief birth under the bodhi tree. Before and after that, I was a pharmacist who healed people.”

He said gently: "The priest can call me a pharmacist."

The young man said humanely: "Then Pharmacist, please continue talking."

So the pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata continued to explain the meaning of Zhuji.

  The young Taoist listened carefully.

In the end, the pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata came to an end, saying: "The causes of all these sufferings are actually mainly from [greed, hatred, ignorance], [slowness], and [doubt]. Among these five, greed, hatred, and ignorance are the biggest. The reason is the source of the countless sufferings."

   "How does the Taoist feel?"

The young Taoist thought for a while and said, "It makes a lot of sense."

He suddenly thought of his senior brothers and sisters, and realized that many things seem to be clear, so he replied naturally: "If you don't get greedy, you can save a lot of troubles. If you don't generate anger, you won't lose your mind in anger. It will also save a lot of troubles, and if there is no obsession, you don't have to be obsessed like a demon, you can let go of a lot, and you can save troubles."

"The one who said [Ji Di] is really very knowledgeable."

So the pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata showed a smile on his face, and said softly: "The real person has good understanding."

He said: "The Truth of Suffering, the Truth of Collection, are just ordinary."

"Spin is the truth of extinction."

Holding his palms together, he said: "End all suffering and save the common people."

"The one who heard the name of the pharmacist Liuliguang Buddha. All sins will be eliminated naturally."

"If you hear the name of the World-Honored Medicine Master Liuliguang Tathagata, and sincerely accept and uphold it without doubts, there is nothing wrong with falling into the lower realms."

He recited his own Dharma, and the surrounding light was brilliant, like crystal clear glass.

The young Taoist raised his eyes slightly, then shook his head, pondered for a long time, and retorted again: "This is not right."

So the pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata gave a meal of the Buddha's light.

Seeing that young Taoist was not to refute himself, Qi Wuhuo said thoughtfully:

"This is the meaning of the so-called [Mie Di]."

"It should have been added by someone else."

"Didn't the person who put forward [The Truth of Suffering] and [The Truth of Collection] explain it?"

  ? ! !

Pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata felt a slight shock in his heart, but his expression remained unchanged. He looked down at Qi Wuhuo and said:

   "Where does this start?"

The young Taoist smiled and said: "It's very simple, it's better to tell it at a glance."

"Because whether it is [The Truth of Suffering] or [The Truth of Collection], they are all talking about very basic and clear truths."

"The person who proposed the Four Noble Truths explained these two points in great detail."

"And the most important thing is that there is no preaching in it."

"He just frankly told the things that exist in this world."

Thinking of the bowl of noodles today, the young Taoist still felt that it was a pity that he didn't try the roasted chili, so he said, "It's like eating noodles. If you eat chili, it will make your mouth feel hot, so you should eat it less. Eat the same thing."

"It's such a simple and plain truth."

"It seemed that he was worried that others would misunderstand, and he even said it in detail one by one, as if telling you that when eating noodles, adding vinegar will make it very sour, too much salt will make you thirsty, and you can eat less chili, but you must not eat it. If you add sugar to the noodles, it will not taste good, and it’s a bit long-winded, but I can feel his tenderness towards the common people.”

   "But you just said—"

"The truth of extinction is to eliminate all sufferings and save the lives of the common people."

The young Taoist raised his eyes and looked at the pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata in front of him, and said:

"But it has a sense of aloofness."

   "Different from the previous two."

"So, it is definitely not the method he taught."

Pharmacist Liuli Guangrulai was silent for a long time, and said: "But, there is no mistake."

Qi Wuhuo shook his head and said, "Wrong."

Pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata clasped his hands together and said in a slow voice: "All living beings are suffering, sinking into the sea of suffering, living in this world is like being in the midst of thorns, if you don't move your mind, people don't move rashly, and if you don't move rashly, you won't be hurt; Injured his body and hurt his bones, so he experienced all kinds of pain in the world."

   "Destroy all evil."

"So all living beings will not experience such suffering."

"Such beings can comprehend Buddhism and prove Bodhi."

   "What's wrong?"

When he was speaking, the Buddha's light unconsciously dimmed slightly.

The young man said humanely: "It should be so, this statement is true."

"But pharmacist, if you do this, have you ever asked the common people?"

"Ask common people, would you like to be crossed by you?"

Pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata closed his eyes slightly, and the young Taoist stood up, looked at the monk with downcast eyes peacefully, and said: "The Dharma you just said is not false, but the poor Taoist is still a little confused, life is in such a world. , All sentient beings must not move their [heart] rashly, so that they will not suffer, I agree."

"But what you do is to use the Dharma as a chain to trap the common people."

  “[Order] them not to move.”

"So they don't have to suffer from needle pricks."

   "Is this considered degreeization?"

The old monk clasped his hands together, lowered his eyes for a long time, and said, "Forget it."

"Because the common people don't have to suffer."

The young Taoist stared at him, thought for a while, and said, "It's a way of saying what you say, Pharmacist."

"But I still have a doubt, I hope you can answer it."

"Speaking…"

"The Buddha said that the five yins are full of suffering, so I will try it. Taking the five yins as an example, form, feeling, thinking, action, consciousness, and the five aggregates are all suffering."

"You mentioned the Avalokitesvara of the South China Sea just now. After listening to it, I have a little understanding."

"Because people can perceive the outside world and feel the various appearances, they will be disturbed by all the outside world, thus arousing greed, hatred and ignorance. Therefore, Buddhism says [form is empty], which means that form is empty, it is a state. , which means that no matter how complicated the outside world is, no matter what changes you experience and see, all these appearances will not affect the practitioner's inner state, right?"

At this moment, he turned to ask the young Taoist. The old monk was silent for a long time, and sighed:

"What the real person said is right."

The young Taoist shook his head and said, "You can't be a real person."

said again: "Then what the Buddha hopes is that all living beings will go to the realm of exploring [form is empty] by themselves."

"Is it right?"

The Buddha's light on the old monk's body has been restrained and only in this room, he lowered his eyes for a long time, and said: "What the real person said is correct."

"My Buddha hopes that all sentient beings can come to this point."

So the young Taoist asked in doubt:

"But what you did, didn't it make them never have the chance to get to this point?"

"Just like seeing many things in this world, it will bring people pain. But it should not blind people's eyes."

"Because all living beings will eventually meet death, kill him at the time of birth and let him go straight to the other side."

"Pharmacist, isn't what you did exactly such a thing?"

Pharmacist Liuli Guang Tathagata shook his body, raised his head suddenly, and blurted out: "No, I didn't!"

The young Taoist asked: "But don't you directly deprive all sentient beings of the opportunity to see what is not what is?"

"Buddha hopes that all living beings will go to [See all forms are empty]"

"But you let them [not see the hue] at all, and have no chance to touch the hue, so they naturally feel that the hue is empty."

"But have they really realized this state?"

The Buddha light on Medicine Master Liuliguang Tathagata almost disappeared, leaving only an old monk.

The young Taoist sighed and said:

   "Monk."

"Are you saving people's troubles, or are you uprooting people's roots of wisdom?"

"Why do you have such an idea?"

The old monk said in pain:

"I just want to learn from the Buddha to save the common people, and I just hope that the common people will not suffer."

Qi Wuhuo paused for a moment, and then he really just had doubts, so he naturally asked:

"Then, did the Buddha you speak of treat you the same way you treat the common people now?"

Has the Buddha ever saved you in this way?

It used to be suffering because of appearance, and because all living beings were suffering.

will also help you, 【End of suffering】?

This sentence was just doubts, but in the mouth of the old monk, it was like Hong Zhong Dalu, who was deafening. He suddenly recalled that day, when he was still a poor pharmacist, he saw the dazed man under the bodhi tree, and then he told himself, There are others who have spoken about the first Dhamma, which is the Four Noble Truths.

How did he tell himself at the time...

He said, this is suffering, you should leave.

This is a set, you should break it.

This is extinction, you should prove it.

This is the way, you should practice it.

He pointed out the Four Noble Truths, and then advised me that this can be done, you can try it.

I've done it, so you can too.

  He was just that.

The old monk was suddenly sad, feeling as if he had gone the wrong way, his heart was tingling, the Buddha light on his body had disappeared in an instant, it seemed that the Buddha light was too blazing before, when the Buddha light dissipated, there was only In the darkness, the old monk staggered and wanted to get up, but because he recalled that person and recalled his dream that predicted the future, he was so sad that he couldn't control himself.

Staggered a step, and fell to his knees on the ground.

Hands on the ground, tears pouring down.

"ah…"

"My Buddha, did the disciple go wrong to such a level?"

"You have already set an example, but I have only gone to the surface. How can I misunderstand your meaning to such a situation."

The young Taoist was silent, and suddenly said softly: "The one who guides you."

   "It's gone already."

This sentence has mercy, but it hurts like a sword.

The old monk couldn't control his grief, so he burst into tears.

I just feel that the whole body is in darkness, there is no guide on the way forward, and I have already taken the wrong path.

Suddenly a light came on, and he raised his head subconsciously, and saw the young Taoist coming with an oil lamp, bent down slightly, and the oil lamp in his hand illuminated himself, the old monk raised his cuffs, wiped away his tears, and said:

"It was the old monk who was too rude to let Daojun see such a side."

"There are too many mistakes, it is extremely difficult to return."

"Recalling it, I feel more and more sad."

Qi Wuhuo said: "You don't need to thank me, it's not that I helped you, you knew it all along, I just happened to say something to remind you of him."

The old monk sighed and said: "It's a pity, I have made such a big mistake."

"It's getting more and more painful to be so far away from what he taught back then."

Qi Wuhuo said: "Then why don't you turn around?"

The old monk's body shook violently.

   "Turn back..."

"One path is wrong, so shouldn't it be time to turn back?"

The old monk whispered: "Can I still turn back?"

"As long as you want, why not?"

The old monk sighed: "I still have a lot of things..."

"So do you want to go back?"

   So the old monk paused.

The young Taoist put the oil lamp on the table again, and then said: "I have already heard from you about the truth of suffering and the truth of collection."

"So I don't agree with you about Miedi."

"I also have a little idea."

"Pharmacist, you can listen to it, and treat it as just a casual joke of an ordinary Taoist."

The old monk got up and sat back, and saw the young Taoist get up, and said in a clear voice:

"My Taoist sect takes the sun and the moon as its life."

"When the sun rises and the moon sets, and the brilliance shines all over, it is practice."

"And Jidi said that all suffering comes from samadhi, and this samadhi is greed, hatred and ignorance, like fire. The fire light is the countless desires that shoot out from this source, and these desires are reflected in the eyes, so you can't see the sun and the moon. The light of life."

"And the truth of extinction, maybe so."

The boy got up, and gently blew out the oil lamp.

The window in the Buddhist scripture pavilion was opened, and the moonlight poured in gently. It fell on the young Taoist's body and shoulders, and also fell into the room, illuminating the square inch. The monk's eyes widened, looking at the young man under the moonlight. The Taoist pointed at the oil lamp, pure and at ease, and said with a smile: "It's not about extinguishing all the desires of the common people, but just blowing out the fire of greed, hatred and ignorance of oneself."

"So many evil desires and evil destinies will naturally dissipate."

   "Visible sun and moon."

The old monk looked at the young Taoist under the moonlight, and suddenly laughed.

Laughing and laughing, suddenly choked up.

"I see…"

"It's not the Mie of speeding up, but the Mie of blowing out."

"Blowing out greed, hatred and ignorance, you can see the Tathagata."

"Yeah, how could a person like him use Dumie to describe his own method? It's because we have always misunderstood and misunderstood...Why don't we really understand his method?"

Oriental buddhist kingdom of pure glass world.

Countless glazed worlds have returned to their original appearance, bright and clean, without the slightest mistake.

The moonlight shines all over the Bodhisattva, but he suddenly sensed it, raised his head, and saw the pharmacist Liuliguang Tathagata who closed his eyes and condensed his Dharma body, weeping and mourning.

  Then slowly opened his eyes.

Actively choose to stop condensing one's own law, one's own strength, and one's own various appearances.

Under the moonlight, the old monk in Lianyang Temple clasped his hands together and said:

"The poor monk wanted to turn back, but he couldn't do it alone..."

"Please, Master Taishang Xuanwei help me."

Just like an ordinary young Taoist who was called to break the Taoist name, he paused, looked up and saw the monk was pure and at ease, the old monk smiled, but his eyes were clear, as if he could see through everything, Buddhism has his heart, the young Taoist At this moment, he felt the old man's relief and letting go, and understood the old man's choice in an instant, so he didn't say anything more.

The old monk thanked him, sat cross-legged under the moonlight, clasped his hands together, and said gently:

"May I be reborn, when I attain Bodhi..."

The young man put on a Taoist robe and said:

"May you come to life, you can get Bodhi."

The old monk thanked him and just recited Buddhist scriptures. Qi Wuhuo stood beside him. The monk sat cross-legged while the Taoist stood upright. Then the forearm of the right hand is raised in front of the chest, the fingers are naturally stretched upwards, the palm of the hand is facing outward, performing the gesture of fearlessness;

The young Taoist's right hand hangs down, his sleeves fluttering.

The ring finger of the left **** is slightly bent inward.

Press the **** and ring finger with the thumb.

   Decide by way.

Taking a step forward, the sleeve robe swept over, and the monk closed his eyes. I recalled the countless Buddhist classics in my heart.

They all said so, but in the end they were covered by other voices.

The young man spoke the truth, his voice was gentle, and the decision fell, so said, so said——

   "The Supreme Commander!"
