I laid out title designs from my bag on the desk.

“I’ve made four patterns of titles for the autograph session.”

“Oh, you’ve done it already? That’s Tojo-kun for you.”

Odagiri-san was excited.

“For now, I’ve made one with vertical writing and one with horizontal writing, so you can choose the one you like. If you don’t like it, I’ll rewrite it.”

“No, that’s good enough. It’s looking great as always. It fits the novel perfectly.”

Odagiri-san was delighted.

“I’m glad to hear that. As for me, I’m happy to use any of them.”

Then I sent the data of the draft title to Sasai-sab and Odagiri-san.

“I’ve sent the data to both of you now.”

“You’re as good at your job as ever.”

“You’re the best, Tojo-kun!”

The two were looking at the screen of the phone.

After about half an hour of discussion, we decided on the title to be used this time.

“I look forward to working with you.”

As I was about to leave the publishing company the sky began to turn red with the setting sun.

“Well, I’m tired.”

I walked towards the station, boarded the train and took a fifteen-minute ride.

When I arrived at the station, I walked another 10 minutes to my house.

“I’m home.”

I unlocked the front door and entered.

“Welcome home.” (TLN: would do anything to get her to greet me.)

Sara came down the stairs and greeted me.

“Oh, I’m back. Also, this.”

I took out the from my bag.

“What’s this?”

“I got it signed by Odagiri-sensei.”

“Really!?”

Sara took the book and flipped through the cover.

On the cover, the words ‘To Sara-chan, Odagiri, thank you for reading’ were written.

“Thank you very much. I’m very happy. Please give me your autograph as well, Nii-San.”

Then she handed the book to me.

“Is it okay if I sign next to Odagiri-sensei?”

“Yes, and then it would be the only one of its kind in the world.”

“All right. Can I sit down and write?”

“Hai!”

I sat down on the living room sofa and took out a pen from my pen case.

I signed “Calligrapher Tojo Zero” next to Odagiri-sensei’s signature.

“There you go. Is that good?”

“Thank you very much. I’ll keep it as a family heirloom.”

Sara had a big smile on her face. (TLN: I so wanna see that smile so good.) (Edtior: you’re a dork.)

“Oh no, you are exaggerating.”

“It’s a treasure for me. By the way, can I borrow Volume 4 and onwards?”

“Oh, you finished others. I’ll go get it.”

I went to my room, grabbed Volumes 4 to 6, and went down the stairs.

“Here you go.”

I handed her the three books.

“Thank you very much.”

" "

“Oh, and Volume 7 will be out soon.”

“Is that so!!”

“I’ll have a sample copy in the mail, so look forward to it.”

Haurki and Odagiri were particular about the fact that the title should be changed with each volume.

Each time a new volume would be published, Haruki would write a new title.
