Whenever I updated my social media, I would get an immediate response.

—”I’m glad the anime is by Tojo-sensei!”

—”Looking forward to it!”

—”Congratulations on the anime!”

Even though it had only been a few minutes since I had tweeted, I had received numerous comments.

“Oh, everyone reacts so fast. I mean, Odagiri-san is responding too.”

The original author, Odagiri-sensei, also responded to my post.

“She’s been watching social media.”

I closed my phone, muttering.

“Well, I’m going to take a bath and go to bed.”

“You’re early today.”

“Yeah, I’m just tired from all the tests, animating and stuff.”

“Yeah. I’m going to bed early too.”

We both took a bath and went back to our rooms.

Three days had passed since then, and it was the day of the meeting.

“Well, I’m off.”

I left the house just before 10 o’clock in the morning.

In my hand, I had my work bag, which contained my title work, a book, and some writing materials.

“Have a safe journey.”

“Yeah, I’ll be back in the evening.”

“Okay.”

I left the house and walked towards the station. From there, I took another 15-minute train ride to the nearest station of the publishing company’s building.

“It’s been a while since I’ve been here.”

I rarely used this station in my daily life, except when I needed to go to this publishing company.

After a few minutes of walking, I arrived in front of the publishing company’s building.

For some reason, I always felt a little nervous whenever I came here.

“I’m Rei Tojo. I’m here because I have an appointment with Sasai-san.”

I identified myself at the reception desk of the publishing company and was given/got a pass.

I always felt a little itchy (uncomfortable) saying my name as Rei, but it couldn’t be helped.

I hung the pass around my neck and took the elevator up to the fourth floor.

“Oh, thank you for your hard work, Tojo-sensei. I booked a conference room, so this way, please.”

“Yes, thank you for your hard work.”

The person in charge, Sasai-san, escorted me to the conference room.

“It’s been a while, Odagiri-sensei. I hope I didn’t keep you waiting.”

“Tojo-kun, it’s been a while. I came too early. Don’t worry about it.”

She had long, shoulder-length black hair, and today she let it hang loose.

Yes, the author of was a woman.

I was also surprised when I first met her.

“So, let’s start the meeting.”

“Yes.”

“Okay.”

Odagiri-san began the meeting.

“So, let’s begin with the autograph event.”

“Yes, here are the documents.”

Sasai-san placed the documents in front of me and Odagiri-san.

“The event is scheduled for two weeks from now. The venue is the bookstore mentioned in the document.”

“What do you want me to sign?”

" "

I asked.

“Tojo-sensei will sign the postcard that we will provide, and Odagiri-sensei will sign the book, of course.”

“I understand.”

From there, we worked out the details.

The meeting lasted approximately three hours.
