Sara operated the touch panel and ordered a chocolat gateau1, while I ordered a cheesecake.

 

 

A few moments later, the dessert We had ordered came flowing out.

We proceeded to eat our dessert.

“I’m going to pay the bill.”

 

 

I took the slip of paper and headed for the cash register.

 

 

After paying, I went to Sara who was waiting outside.

 

 

“I’m sorry. I’ve always had you pay for me.”

 

 

“Oh, yeah. My father transferred 150,000 yesterday as living expenses for the two of us, so you don’t have to worry about it.”

 

 

“I see.”

 

 

Yesterday, I suddenly got a call from my dad, and I thought it was about that.

 

 

He wanted me to use the money for food and utilities.
