It had been a week since our high school started summer vacation.

Today was the day of the joint autograph event for Odagiri-sensei and myself, Tojo Rei.

“Good morning, Nii-San.”

“Ah, good morning.”

Sara woke up first and was toasting a slice of bread.

“Nii-San’s autograph session is today, right?”

“Yeah, that’s right.”

“You want some?”

“I think I’ll have some.”

Sara had also made toast for Haruki.

“I’d better get ready after I finish eating.”

I ate my toast and sipped my coffee.

“It’s been kind of busy.”

“Hey, I have to hurry, I have a long way to go.”

Today’s autograph session was held in a corner of an anime store that was known as a sacred place in Otaku.

It would take about 20 minutes from our house to get the station closet to the venue.

“It’s a bit far, isn’t it?”

“Right?”

I finished my toast and put on my black shirt.

I then went to style my hair.

“Okay, that’s about it.”

After I finished setting my hair, I changed into a black suit.

“I’m off then.”

In the bag, there were my books, writing materials, and a notebook.

“Have a safe trip. Be careful.”

“Oh, thanks. I’ll be home in the evening, but I’ll call you if I’m running late.”

“Yes, I understand.”

After being seen off by Sara, I left the house.

“Well, it’s going to be another hot day.”

I walked the 10 minutes to the station, took the train, and got off at the station where the signing venue was located.

I walked straight to the anime store where the signing was taking place.

“Hey, hey, they’re already lining up. …”

A person holding a copy of the was lining up under the direction of a shopkeeper.

The clerk shouted, “This way to the end of the line for the autograph event with Odagiri-sensei and Tojo-sensei!”

“I have to go without being noticed.”

I didn’t want to be recognized so I hid my face, so I turned my head and headed towards the waiting room for the officials.

“Tojo-kun, good work.”

“Good work, Tojo-kun. You’re really dressed up well today.”

Odagiri-san said, checking out my outfit.

She was wearing a white dress.

“Ma~, it’s only an autograph session, but there’s a long line.”

“Yeah, I was surprised when I arrived earlier, too.”

Odagiri-san chuckled.

“That’s how popular they are. Your works are that popular.”

Sasai-san, the editor in charge, had also arrived.

“I’m glad to hear that.”

“We have about half an hour left before the signing, so please rest, Sensei.” (TLN:- Here sensei is referred to both Haruki and Odagiri-san)

“I understand.”

" "

After half an hour of chatting with Odagiri-san about her plans for the next book, it was time to go.

“Sensei, please.”

The store clerk came to call.

“Yes.”

Guided by the store clerk and Sasai-san, Odagiri-san and I left our seats and entered the specially set-up autograph room.

At that moment, a murmur rose from the fans in line.
