After I came back from the autograph session, I ate the cake with Sara in the living room.

“How was the autograph session?”

“Oh, there were quite a few there; gave out, maybe, a hundred signatures.”

“So, many people came. That’s great.”

“I’m grateful.”  During our conversation, my phone beeped.

The phone screen showed a group message notification.

I tapped on it.

‒’Is everyone free for summer vacation? If you’re free, let’s go to a barbecue or something! You can invite your other friends too!’

It was a group message from the calligraphy club. Rio was the sender.

She must have had a lot of free time on her hands.

‒’Sounds good! Let’s do it!’

‒’I’m sorry. I’m returning home.’

‒’I don’t think I can make it either.’

‒’I can go!’

And so the replies came flooding in one after another.

I wondered why girls were so quick to reply.

‒’I don’t mind either, depending on the schedule. Is it okay if Sara goes with me?’ I replied.

‒’There it is, the Sis-con.’

‒’Senpai, you’re a Sis-con, aren’t you?’

‒’What, you’re a Sis-con?’

Rio, Sakura, and Moe replied in that order..

These three had already agreed to participate in the barbecue..

‒’I’m not a Sis-con’ (TLN: Lmao and he himself admitted he is in a chap)

I replied.

“Nii-san, what’s wrong?” Sara curiously asked while I had been busy looking at my phone.

“It’s nothing, some members of the calligraphy club messaged to ask if we all wanted to have a barbecue.”

“What a great idea: a barbecue!”

“Oh, you’re coming too, Sara?”

“Is that okay with you?”

Rio said she didn’t mind if I invited other friends.

If my guest was my sister, who attended the same school, it wouldn’t be a big issue.

“Yeah, Rio says it’s fine too.”

‒’By the way, Sara-chan is more than welcome.’

That was Rio’s timely reply.

“Then I want to go, too! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a barbecue with so many people.”

“Right.”

‒’Okay, but what about the place and date?’

I sent a message to Rio, which she read immediately.

“This Saturday. Location: Haruki’s yard!” (TLN: LMAO)

The reply arrived in just one second.

‒’Why is it in our yard?’

‒’Because it won’t cost much, and Haruki has a barbecue set at his house, right?’

‒’But, how do you know all this?’

‒’Maybe because we’ve known each other for a long time?’

We talked about it further in private chat, and, ultimately, my yard was chosen as the location.

“Haa~.”

“What’s wrong? Nii-san.”

“The barbecue is going to be held in our yard. …” I said with a sigh.

“Oh, really? Well, our yard is pretty big, so it should be fine.”

“That’s not the problem. The members of the calligraphy club will know where we live!”

“So, that’s the issue.”

“That probably won’t end well.”

As far as I was concerned, exposing my address was a much bigger problem.
